Best Flaunts Poems
Apple blossoms in abundance; sweet aroma in the air.
Begonias burst with brilliance. Blue bells pop up everywhere.
Cherry blossoms cheer with pink; corn flowers cluster blue.
Dandelions dance with wind; Daffodils dance too.
Easter Lily, always early, blooms exquisite white.
Forget-me-nots, fresh-picked by tots, are a Mom’s delight.
Geraniums, garden-fresh, are growing graciously.
Hollyhocks I plucked when young my heart is blessed to see.
Irises with leaves like swords paint rainbows on the lawn.
Johnny-jump-ups have their purple yellow clothing on!
Kangaroo paws, so exotic - come to us sun-kissed.
Lilac bushes, lush with lovely flowers can’t be missed!
Marigold, like its friend the Sun, is glowing too.
Narcissus, so many types of it, now bloom anew.
Orchids of the warmer climes, one-of-a-kind are they!
Peonies, so pretty, and perky poppies are at play.
Queen-of-lace with gracious face, how elegant is she!
Ranunculus, a Buttercup, greets us radiantly.
Sweet pea, looking precious, up the trellis climbs
Tansies, yellow buttons, also love the temperate times.
Uva-Ursi, on long stems, in late spring's breeze will sway.
Violet’s vibrant color gives its name away!
Wax flowers help fill up bouquets on spring wedding days.
Xeranthemum, a sunflower, flaunts her sunny ways.
Yellow wood anemone starts flowering in May.
Zinnia comes later. For Zinnia and others, the sun just has to stay!

Where gentle winds merrily blow
And twilight flaunts its orange glow
Swirling imprints amber arc spun
Bending beams-mauve of setting sun
Prairies sway in graying shadows
Wailing grief of browning meadows
While garden sighs of parched flowers
And ardor yawns in rain showers
Pine trees breeze lilting verdant hills
Enchanting hearts in wintry thrills
As snowflakes vie passions of night
And romance glimmers in moonlight
Frigid air dwells in dreams of dawn
Yet, blush of morn smiles on and on
Greeting bright day’s golden appeal
While sunrise sparks its frosty zeal
Wooing winter in autumn's song
Glinting days short, as nights prolong

Golden leaves of autumn delight
Where season flaunts hints of romance
Blazing passions of smitten sight
As themes chromatic swirl and dance.
Charming dreams of romantic eyes
Golden leaves of autumn delight
As twilight blushes on mauve skies
Lauding missives of zealous night.
While amber notions waltz in flight
Spurring thrill of flaxen meadows,
Golden leaves of autumn delight
As tunes of love heartbeats compose.
Crimson motifs gelid winds blow
Twirling, whirling, as they alight,
Where gilded canvas glints on snow
Golden leaves of autumn delight.

My Beloved,
My fervent Solemn passion
My LOVE bound to you
My Darling, I am entirely thine
As kindling in pure Formidable flame
My Beloved, My precious love
My better self,
If the moment of Immortality
Unveil to exist between us
I shalt whisper your Beloved name
As phantom of delight
Riveting as melodious
As mating birds
My Beloved,
My fervent Solemn passion,
Your elegance and beauty
As begotten rapturous vibrant
ebullient portrait of LOVE
As blissful birth of precious
glittering mother of pearl
Invigorating to purify
my tumultuous untamed heart
My Immortal Angel,
My Dearest LOVE
My Joyful Darling
My eyes, worships Your Eyes
In pure adoration
My eyes can NO longer
hide my addiction
My Immortal Beloved
The LOVE of sublimity,
Should I not let my eyes
become lit, before YOUR eyes
As my heart’s pupil of febrile eyes
Dives in your endless ocean
of LOVE to be drowned in ecstasy
My Beloved,
My fervent Solemn passion
My hunger has become a fain of fasting
My Darling,
Your Lips, a provocative budding beauty
which Loves to flaunts itself
shalt be my eternal
Adoring site of pilgrimage,
As my tender lips, as nourishing
As endless waves of ocean
can not resist rushing to wet
to rescue YOUR thirst of ecstasy
My Beloved,
My fervent Solemn passion,
Faithfullest heart,
My Love bound to you, As we stem
As rose garden of Elysium
As sweet scent of LOVE
Emanating from the blossoms
As our tender hands entangled
with Majestic Red Robe Of LOVE
As Our eyes wed
For moment of eternal serenity
to cast our Hearts net in endless
ocean of sublime ecstasy
to capture our own image of ONENESS
My Immortal Beloved
Sanctuary of Love, My Darling,
I am entirely Thine,
I clasp the hand of Love
As I clasp my body
As fortitude of Love
Against YOUR body,
The Citadel of Heaven,
As my lips penetrates the silence
to whisper tenderly in Thy Beloved ears;
I LOVE THEE,
As My hearts infinite tender majesty
Shalt illuminate the Devine promise of bliss
As it echoes in eternity,
As my heart decorate the tent of LOVE
My Beloved, My fervent
My Solemn passion,
My Darling, My precious one,
My soul exclaimed in delight jubilation
My Beloved LOVE
As I am fain to see THEE
in the Bethel of LOVE,
For Eternity
Forever Thine
Forever Ours

Lyric
One half is submerged in light,
the other in darkness.
Half says goodnight and the other
tugs the harness.
Kids climb backyard trees tinged
with school bus yellow.
As lovers play hide and seek
in the nighttime meadow.
Training wheels lay abandoned -
youthful eyes bear cornea confidence.
The silver spokes whistle through copper leaves -
once in a lifetime decadence.
August stars say their last farewell
in glorious beelines.
Whilst wrinkled fingers grasp the moon
in delicious daytime.
A woman dressed in white walks down the aisle -
her father proudly flaunts.
As a preacher recites Scripture at a funeral:
The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want...
A newborn's laugh lights the whole world up
with effortless ease.
Whilst a pair of liver-spotted legs
unbuckles its knees.
One takes the first step -
the other reaches the end of the line.
One is a wealth of wisdom -
and the other is a gift divine.
Tiny toes to caress the sand,
ashes to sprinkle in the sea -
as if Nature itself has read aloud
Ecclesiastes Three.

He undresses rumor to reveal lies
this is how the desperate man cries,
Extra Extra he tries to sadden ya,
a bundle of rancor rambles from the shambles of his shame
finding form on a page of purely personal pathos
what he can't have he taunts,
flaunts falsehood as fact in commiserating style,
vulgar and vile such as pornographic propaganda
designed to compell despair with poisened air,
what does he care, loyalty he knows not how to share,
decorum just a ditch in the swamp of his heart,
hurt hurt hurt is the mantra of his yellow emotion
a mud temple is his refuge,
burn love, ravage respect, ruin reputation
is the curve in his grimace, the grime in his game,
even the news stands have rejected his rank rubbish,
a character assassinator eliminated by the Poet's assembly,
take your delusional drama to the closet playa
hang it on a hanger of humbled heresy,
your rusty razor shall not go "haymaker" anymore
remain in your "hayfever" brought on by Truth's retribution,
a wedge maker is your legacy, a virtuous man your fallacy -

Epitaph
Maple in red wears her mantle with ease,
Ravishing crown with geranium sheen.
Teasingly tossing her mane in the breeze,
Spring until autumn she's dressed like a queen!
Ravishing crown with geranium sheen,
Swishing in whispering florid attire,
Spring until autumn she's dressed like a queen,
Sunlight does kiss scarlet petals afire.
Swishing in whispering florid attire,
She's lofty, saucy and flaunts savoir-faire.
Sunlight does kiss scarlet petals afire,
Her pageantry fits her Majesty's flair!
She's lofty, saucy and flaunts savoir-faire,
Teasingly tossing her mane in the breeze,
Her pageantry fits her Majesty's flair,
Maple in red wears her mantle with ease.

Ascending from a fertile earth
The graceful Willow flaunts it's birth
Toward the sky it's branches rise
Like skyrockets in disguise
Then bursting with a rockets flare
Creating star bursts in the air,
They gently fall back toward the ground
And weep without a sound

Dear 2024,
I hope this poetic vow
wouldn’t be shunned,
as I block negativity
from my phone,
like my bitter exes.
And forgive my sense
of humor that
resembles sour grapes,
like a dash of salt
and pepper sprinkled
on top of old drapes.
Perhaps, as this
year bids adieu,
I’ll find the right
ingredient to concoct
sparkling wine infused
with giggles that
age like
chucklesome limericks,
as I fine-tune the
empty spaces
of my scribbled
pages with hilarity.
I’ll learn to laugh a
little louder and hope
the ebb of every
comical tale can flow.
Maybe a stricter
chocolate diet would
help me see the
sweeter side of
powdered comedians,
sharpening my wit
as endorphins enhance
my ability to spot
the depth of puns
punctuated
with bizarre tones.
And as December rain
drizzles in symphony
of the darkness
my quill flaunts,
pardon these
peculiar metaphors,
I’ll raise a glass
of crocodile tears,
a toast for
more concise poetry,
and faces I’ve phased,
that I’ll no longer
vent about in vain verses.
Cheers to the
festival lights
on wheel of laughter,
may the florescence
forever flicker as
souvenirs of amusement.
I’ll dance into the
rising sun of a new year,
in an odyssey adorned
with shimmering dreams
embalmed in
tickling mint leaves.

Take your halcyon moment, have your blissful jaunt
Explore the northern hills and rivers, their helix flaunts
From zigzag paths of the south, from verdant plains of the north
Passing by the west coasts, ascend to their conjuring heart fort
Set off now and tread down to a cobblestone avenue
With joyful wagon ride, gaze the Heritage City’s stunning view
Spanish buildings in hedge, hewed by the greatest history
Of a beautiful country called, The Pearl of the Orient Sea
Museums in slumber, sing the spirit of heartwarming hospitality
Preserving the priceless antiques, ancestors’ unique creativity
Well-crafted on Spanish Colonization, cherish in golden memory
The country’s Great Forefathers, their true heroism and bravery
At the heart of a city gloriously stands the city’s cathedral
In front stretched a dancing fountain embraced by a lover’s park
With conservative Maria Clara style, stroll with Jose, your pal
And taste the most delicious delicacies from morning ‘til dark
A hammock that rocks you to the enchantment of the past
With indelible imprints of rich cultural heritage in relentless lush
Visit this reigning beauty, your rewarding experiences enfold
Vigan City hailed as one of Top Seven Wonder Cities of the World

She is the talk of the town, every season that passes
You'll see her around,.... Miss Sassy Pistashe
Who flaunts her good looks, preening over the sage
When she makes her grand entrance, she’s the rage of the stage!
Changing clothes after summer, wearing feathers, so brash
she is queen of the, autumn, with a flaming red sash
She's never discreet, is quite daring and chic’
and will steal all the limelight, upon every hill
She upstages poor Willow, who seems rather ill
will outshine Miss Maple, …out-dresses Miss Ash
With colors of fire, and a 'come hither' tease
Her wiles shock onlookers, with each crimson leaf
She flashes her limbs and wiggles her twigs
She loves to show off, with her bright scarlet wig
Never humble, she’s bold, loves to put on a show
Even Miss Sunset, has felt rather low
She tends to be rash….Miss Sassy Pistashe’
At the first sign of chill, she will toss feathered leaves
She will even bare limbs…and dance in the breeze
Late in the season, she changes her tune
Bends all her branches, and makes valleys swoon
But she doesn't catch cold, ...she thrives by the moon
She has thrown off her clothes, each leaf she has grown
To be 'gone with the wind', like that Scarlet, we've known
Stealing the limelight, with no modesty,…then…
Comes back in the autumn......begging attention again!!

Spectacular World
Sunbeams sparkle dizzily dancing atop butterflies’ wings,
Provocative moon flaunts her heavenly body, whispering sweet nothings,
Enchanting creations all uniquely beautiful and beloved in God’s sight,
Colorful diversity in nature is truly a sensational delight.
Treasures at the end of rainbows – pots of green, yellow, and red so bright,
Astonishing hues of passionate purple, beguiling blue, and angelic white.
Centuries-old comets flash across rhinestone-studded, black velvet sky,
Unbounded by time and space, enjoying a celestial ride up so high.
Life-giving universe is such an amazing wonder to behold;
At its center our brilliant sun radiates fiery bronze and gold,
Revolving in panoramic glory…showcasing a spectacular world.

Leaves of rust do bounce within the brisk wind
As trees release them from whence they ascend
The frigid air blows down the lane of leaves
Orange charms lay about where we all believe
The sun sits low barely over the drive
Straw blends with the grass as fall comes alive
The crispness of each day flaunts us with pride
Colors of autumn describes the outside
Trees are nearing their midnight life cycle
Almost bare with few leaves to recycle
Crops are near the height of sowing prowess
Yellow stalks surround the farmhouse fortress
The season does explain the cool weather
It’s the most beautiful time of the year

Who coined this term?
Who decided to limit one’s spirit?
Who decided to deprecate those qualities that remain hidden?
Out of my league…
What is the measure?
Who created the scale?
Is it beauty????
There is an inner splendor that defies the term
Is it grace????
There is the graceful movement of the soul that
moves beyond the boundaries of description
Is it shapeliness???
The shapes and forms of the mind, the curves and lines
Are unclothed in words and unseen by eyes
Is it sexual dynamism???
The body may be painted by an artist, but it has no power to satisfy
desire unless it succumbs to the promptings of a sensual mind
Is it wisdom???
There is the wisdom verified by degrees and the wisdom of the world
which is broader and at times deeper than the few letters at the end of a name
Is it wealth???
The wealth of the world does not even begin to tip the scale
In comparison to the wealth of human character…integrity, loyalty, mercy, and love
What is it???
What is that illusive quality
That demands the stamp of
“Out of my league?”
I defy it
I renounce it
No one can label me…
Yet...I am in a league of my own
Beautiful
Sensual
Shaplely
Wise
Wealthy
Dynamic
A dynamism that a label cannot hold
A wealth that cannot be weighed
A wisdom that guides inner spheres of life
A shapeliness that flaunts the norm
A sensuality that inflames thought and movement
A beauty that shines in its own right
Yes! I am in a league of my own
If you are turned away
By outer appearances
By lack of wealth
And the trappings of prestige
You are missing the treasure
The sheer enigma
Of a mind that is deep, unbound, free
In this league that I live and breath in
This league of....ME!

One enchanted evening
I followed Luna’s moon,
as She guided my ship
to a secret lagoon.
In a golden ocean
buffed to a mirror sheen,
I spied the sexiest
mermaid I'd ever seen.
She flaunts ebony hair
befitting, a true Queen,
offset by a sweeping
tail of aquamarine.
Anchored in the shallows
I waded to the shore,
and evoked the magic
that would open love's door.
Under a full March moon
she steps from fantasy,
and rises from the sea
to make sweet love to me.
Sharing this special night
I know that she must leave,
and I’m to be content
with the gift of this eve.
