We gape at the sky
this Fourth of July,
as rockets ignite
to deal us delight,
while strangers unite.

I’m such a dope,
it gives me hope
that Nations torn
can be reborn.

Let God’s gifts
heal our rifts,
our esprit.

Let’s pray
we stay

free.

Fire is burning brightly,
flames cast gold shadows that
flicker and scintillate.
Families gather as
fireworks explode in a
fabulous display of
fascinating patterns

Color bursts upon a black night sky; dancing sparks escape.

Reds, greens, gold and blue patterns aflame; crescendo above the birds.

I watch, sky’s palette; alive with resonating bliss.

Premium Member The Sound of Thunder and Fireworks
Dogs ears are sensitive
So a crack of thunder
Or fireworks hurts their
           ears
Their eyes look scared
They are afraid and hide
Running under the bed

Every long weekend
Fireworks does happen
The dogs get scared
The noise is very loud
Hiding until the...

FIREWORKKS

We desire firework excitement, from noise to smoky smell,
watch them exploding into thousands, of glittering brilliant hues.
Hear crackling, popping, booming, and yes, hearing ourselves yell,
watch some spin in sparkling showers, of reds, purples, and...

Beware the Fireworks of Joy

It’s 9:30am
It’s Saturday
The winds of time have changed
Smoke is obscuring the future
Of a nation of dreamers.
Nightfall is lost.
In a darkness of righteous rhetoric
Toothless dragons spewing flameless fire
Exhale the remains of previous failures
In noxious nuances of hope’s lunacy.
Daybreak is muted in the...

The fireworks burst above the bay.
Echoing off the mountains around me.
I stood on the cliff watching in awe.
Nothing but brilliant color in the sky.
Life seemed distant, this moment I stood.
Waiting for the grand finale to see.
At the same time not wanting this to end.
While living...

Cosmic Fireworks

Spiritual illumination,
celestial luminosity
has a halo glow

The reflected magnitude of infinity
is prism immeasurable

Prayer tears
spark cosmic fireworks

The speed of salvation
is faster than light

Multi-galactic mercy
is pure godly
The nebular volume of forgiveness
has an ever-expanding
portal entry

Unwavering faith
moves with supernova oscillation —
An angelic
gravitational destiny

Invisible light
shines farthest star brightly
in every...

The vision of colors
Words that intensify with every varying assortment
When it comes to spectacular, it’s the amazement in what is to come, and what was transcribed

Fireworks
The cold night is awoken and warmed
A family of excitement ready to release their arsenal
Stored under the stairs until the big night
Let the show begin:
Traffic lights – whoosh colour changing
Rockets – whoosh bang screeching
Jack in the box – whoosh bang-jumping
Sparklers – whoosh fizzle-sparkling
Catherine Wheel...

Ode To Fireworks
It is such great unity
That appears amongst the beauty
Of the bright light display?
Such colour, such energy within celebration,
Such a vivid canvas of man-made creation
That sparks with flair and passion;
To fall into the fog
Like all dying illusions.

Yet it is what it does for us:
Where we are...
