Fireworks
The fireworks burst above the bay.
Echoing off the mountains around me.
I stood on the cliff watching in awe.
Nothing but brilliant color in the sky.
Life seemed distant, this moment I stood.
Waiting for the grand finale to see.
At the same time not wanting this to end.
While living in a shining moment above me,
Thoughts were ignited below the same way.
This is life. Right here, right now.
