Premium Member Wounded Whisper

Show me your hands. Do they have scars from giving? Show me your feet. Are they wounded in service? Show me your heart. Have you left a place for divine love? Quote by Fulton J. Sheen

Nature has no underdogs, myths may be false,
Those with no love seem to be caught in a waltz.
To adjust our hurdles, we meticulously rehearse,
We reject being wounded in this erratic universe.

Our faith appears to have lasted since antiquity,
Being pulled by the wind, unfettered by eternity.
We are bound by the rules of nature's— sway,
Not ready to face even the least severe decay.

Hands were utterly washed in widows' tears,
Too often, resonating gunfire rippled in my ears.
Fear has numbed souls as an effect of swift hope,
I'm aware we may prevail over all this via scope.

Plainly, the soldiers' wounds are spewing blood,
And ooze as mud in a leader's spring-tide flood!
The white in the house is turning a rich crimson,
And it appears that our freedom can't be won.

As they said, we have a slim chance of winning,
We'll never prevail over hate in the mind's sting.
We're in a quagmire over the filth we've been told,
Yet further soldiers rise into a cloud—cold.

Broken spirits drenched in bloody destiny,
Frustrated by the final result for evil zestily.
Chronic delusions of woebegone escape,
Vociferating boisterously below Liberty scrape

A cloudless sky is charred by a radiant, bright light,
And charcoal floats up, stroking my dangling feet.
Below lies a blazon of bleak, dark, stinging plight,
The dead, however, have no awareness of defeat.

Many wounds whisper in our view as we get near.
As the earth weeps alone, seek renewal with tear.
Finding our kin who were sold on the dark web,
Untruth now flows, and people's faith does ebb.

A Deer Hunter's Prayer

I am at once pleased and saddened that I have taken your life,oh great creature
of the forest.

I am pleased because I have invested many years honing my woods lore and
shooting skills for this final result.

I am saddened because I have killed one of God's most beautiful creatures for
uncertain reasons.

I don't need your flesh to sustain my family nor your hide to clothe them.

I question myself constantly because I seem to focus an inordinate amount of
time day-dreaming about forthcoming hunts and re-enacting old hunts in my
head.

I question why I am obsessed with checking and re-checking my hunting
equipment as the fall days shorten.

I question why I expose myself to the abuse of the natural elements--drenching
rain, freezing snow and biting winds, waiting for you to materialize.

I especially question this hidden force of ancient origins that drives me to take
your life.

I am satisfied that I have not killed just for the sake of killing--that there is
something deeper, more spiritural at stake. Perhaps I'm attempting to capture a
modicum of your nobility, your sheer beauty and ability to live free, for myself.

Regardless of the answers to these probing questions and as I kneel next to
your lifeless body, I do ask for your forgiveness and promise that your mortal
remains will not be wasted and that the cherished memories of this hunt will
remain with me for the balance of my life.

Just Having a Giggle

She said she wanted an orgy
To my two mates and me
We had to provide nine inches
but we could divide that by three
Tommy laid on the sofa
and whipped his todger out
He measured a full five inches
The final result was not in doubt
Billy took up position
A morning glory I could see
He laid there smiling proudly
and shouting inches three.
I'm afraid we missed out on the orgy
Even though it should have been a cinch
For although I was excited
We had a missing quarter of an inch .

Have a Happy Hillbilly Wedding

Let me start off with an introduction to get you
in the mood to read this poem. Sorry, I did say
something that is wrong to a couple of my readers.
I usually don't make comments regarding any of
my poems. This one is one of my best and greatest
poems I ever have written prior to this one. It
definitely has potential for being poem of the day
but that is up to you all of my devote fans and
readers. Here goes. The title of it can be considered
as either Have A Happy Hillbilly Wedding or Married
Her Mother Instead.

It was either me she did deplore
So she stopped loving me anymore
Or I finally came to all my senses
After suffering from the consequences.

Were both of us meant for each other?
Or should I be like her big brother
Final result was that I will pass
Because he sure is a perfect ass.

Her younger brother was much the same
Maybe I will give him the total blame
For how bad she turned out to be
Like a bird wanting to set me free.

But her father hard to figure he was
Doing what every other father does
Worrying and becoming a big wreck
Can tell when you see each hen peck.

Decided to let nature take her course
Waited until her parents got a divorce
After down path many times being led
Ended up marrying her mother instead.

Was that funny, or wasn't it. Will let you decide.

Life Is Like a Loaf of Bread

These are the building blocks of bread
Flour, salt, yeast, and water warm
You must wait for the dough to rise
You knead, then mold to proper form.

It bakes and comes from the oven
In many colors, shapes, and sizes
Pride of knowing that you made it
It is a process that gratifies.

As life progresses thru the years
As you grow from child to adult
You will encounter many paths
As you build the final result.

For life is like a loaf of bread
In many colors, shapes, and sizes
You build it as your soul expands
A process full of compromises.

Purgatory

As I left the arena of life,
I gave my best shot.
But grades of war is not about effort,
But the final result.
I came with questions,
I have some successes,
Some failures.
Now the only question is
How I look on the history books
Do I look like a champion of heroes
Or a joker in the gallery of fools?

Premium Member Change

I got tattoos the other day
- My eyeliners and my eyebrows
I don't know why
But I just know God wanted me to do it
It's done and now I am waiting to see the results
As I believe it is going to peel, healed
Then the final result will appear
That is what He is going to do with you
He will prick you
Make you feel pain
But not too much that you can't handle it
Did I tell you he numbs you
before He does it?
So did my tattoo artist
Did I say you will be in pain?
I was
But after that it will peel
As He will peel you - layers by layers
And you will heal
And after that - a new you
- for the moment
You are going to change and keep changing
And God is gonna do what He is going to do
So don't think you will be the same forever
I am not
But always for the better
As we will not go backward
2 Corinthians 3:18 says
We go from "glory to glory"
So you see
Don't be afraid of change
Change is good!
Got to tell you a story
When I was in college and lived in the dorm
I was kicked out from the quiet dorm
And put in another dorm
Because I was too loud
I was sad even cried
Thinking it was the end of the world
I didn't want to move
I was so scared
- moving to a new place and everything
But you know - once I moved to the new place
Looking back, I wondered why I had stayed there in all that time
Ever since that day I embrace change
Because haha change is good
Don't tell anyone that story lol

Some Thoughts, Suggestions and Ideas

Some Thoughts, Suggestions and Ideas

If it is my thought or my idea, it is the best
one. The more force I feel to do something,
the more resistance I will have to do it. The
more I make someone think that my idea is
theirs, the more willing they will be to accept
it of course. Why should we have to force
someone to do something that God actually
commanded?
Affirmative action is a prime example. That
is supposed to be a natural instinct that all
of us have. If I force you to have to do it,
you have a guilty conscience realizing you
should have been doing it all of the time.
The more guilty your conscience is, the
harder and more difficult it is for me to
get you to do it.
When we are constantly reminded of how
wrong we are, the more resistant we will
become towards accepting what we should
have been doing in the first place.
Finally, if a destructive nature takes over
all other precedence's the final result will
be total destruction. When God built the
earth, he never had to destroy anything
in order to create something else. He just
kept on building and building and building.
It was humanity who has continually tried
to destroy and pollute things. We try to
wrong all of God's rights. What a shame
Fraud, waste and abuse are the things
that cause the decline in all of humanity.
What we want to be and seek is safety,
sanity and security not swastikas, stupidity
and sin. The handwriting on the wall is
plain and pure. When you want something
that is revolting then what occurs is a
revolting development. Also, it is hard
to revolt against something when you
don't understand clearly what it is or was.
So can you and do you want to see clearly
now or do you want to put it off and not
face reality? I want to be like the first part
while Presidential candidates seem to favor
the other part. How about you? Jim Horn
reality?

Vary Vietnam

Sirons and bells of no temple or holy cause
It was the time in Vietnam at field of wars
Uncertain and chaotic situation it was for all
Taking life on hand everyone had to stroll

Heart was panting of those left at home
As all knew war can leave them lone
Final result though was clearly known
Soon air was shock and grief prone

I was on the forefront being the senior
Ordering and commanding far and here
Sudden a gasp of blood flowed near
Start of devotion my legs have to bear

Went on and on for now it was a bullet
One which swore to fix up all hatred
Ah! It was part of my blood –"Brother"
Moving on difficult, impossible rather

Heart crying seeing his breathe dying
And heartless me I was still spying
Being on duty to save the millions
When one in a million went oblivion

With all senses alive saw helpless side
Not helping the one who took my ride
I should have been on his place lying
If he would not have landed sighing

Tremor of questions worst than calamity
World was dying for senseless depravity
Shame! I was a part of such destruction
Has ever war lead to any construction

Ground bleeding humans and sentiments
War never helped replace lost elements
“Stained Time” never becomes a healer
It just teaches to live with vacant feeler.

Drastic Period of Denial

Drastic Period of Denial

Did go through drastic period of denial
And heard with Trump it took a while
To determine where he would be booked
Also, up what next he will have cooked.

He loves to forget about financial aid
For talents and arts that away may fade
Away into past now that Trump is here
While redneck supporters drink more beer.

Better laugh a lot while we still can
In future we will have to find a plan
And psychiatrist who with can consult
When Trump's actions we see final result.

Anatomy of a Poem

I dreamt that a poem I’d written,
on a topic with which I was smitten,
was by some, thought to be sublime,
but though I wrote as usual in rhyme
this poem has no message to impart,
being naught but thoughts from my heart!

It was by no means a Divine inspiration,
but merely a casual passing observation.
It’s message, if such it could be claimed,
possesses no agenda that can be named;
so the words that herein are writ,
will not affect the reader one bit.

The lines I’ve composed are not many,
and being simplistic in nature, few if any
can be seen as offering any advice
to the reader. In truth, it will suffice
for me to say, they were simply penned
on an idea to which I felt I must attend!

This is no earth shattering composition:
no dogmatic treatise, to give my opinion,
but merely my desire to write a few rhymes:
which will sometimes occur to me at times.
I, having suffered “writer’s block” of late,
find writing thus helps to overcome that state!

I’ll face my nemesis head on, when I can,
but by making it a poetic topic, I can scan
my brain for a possible answer to my woes.
Poetry in rhyme is taxing, that’s how it goes,
but the final result, once it has been achieved,
is a rhythmic poem that can be believed!

More Than This

Complex creation of life and light
For a purpose we seek, we search
Some things cause us such pleasures
Whilst others, unbearable hurt
Beauty that lies on the surface
Intentions that hide underneath
Those first moments of such elation
Whilst the final result makes us weep
I need a reason to trust and to follow
A reason to exhale, to breathe
More than a moment to cherish
Are you more than a reason to me?
Are you the one I was seeking
Could it really be you that I see
Scared but willing to gamble
To be more than I thought I could be
Rush of the scent of creation
Stream of the waters of life
Like a soldier going to battle
I raise my sword to fight
I shall ne'er succumb to the doubts in the darkness
Allow anxious or nervousness strength
Into the arms of the soul I belong to
Fully Prepared to endure any lengths
I am the creation of light and life
For a purpose I seek and I ache
More than a struggle to me this life
Yet a struggle I willingly take

The Race

Enhance my face without a filter, and I will complete my destiny,
Bring me to a place of uncertainty, so I can fight with more dignity.

See, if I took away my scars, my skin would be too clean,
And cleanliness just isn't my thing, when I don't follow my first instinct.

Give me your puzzle pieces and I'll place them together correctly,
No piece is the same directly, and burning one could be deadly.

Revoke my inaccurate accusations, before my clouds hover my skull,
Please check if I can indulge, without hating the final result.

Perfect my vanity, and take away my inexcusable pride,
And oh--- I shouldn't have cried, when the demon never replied.

Because my demons hear my sobs, when I can't fall asleep,
To all of you this may sound obsolete, but I'm ready to compete.

I'll enter the race and I will test my limits, as I take the wrong path,
But I don't think they would surpass, see I've been here in the past.

As I run the fastest and so listless, while crossing the red finish line,
They all thought I would decline, but the right path I did indeed find.

There's your way, and my way, and maybe they're both correct,
So I think in my deep introspect, then I stop, stare and intensely reflect.

Oh how the days fly here and the nights soar there so happy and so free,
I'll say one more thing about me, I've loved and I've lost, I'm sure they would agree.

Why I Don'T Get Jackson Pollock

When he starts a new painting,
Canvas stretched taut against the defining frame,
Gesso-coated smooth and even,
Pure and uniform…
How does he begin?

Are his tubes of paint arrayed in careful rows,
Summer colors first – winter colors last?
Is the final result already in his mind,
Or, does it grow organically,
Layer upon layer?

Does he paint all the reds at once,
The blooming roses and spurting blood?
Are the blacks a backdrop for stars
Or a prayer against the coming night?
Is the smear of green a leafy tree?
The blue streaks a sky?
How can he tell?

And, after all the colors are piled up,
And the canvas is awash in paint,
Leaping from the edges of the frame
Ready to crawl across the wall…
All this I can understand in my engineer’s heart
But… how does he know when it’s done?

This is why I prefer nature to modern art.
God knows we’re not finished yet!
