Complex creation of life and light
For a purpose we seek, we search
Some things cause us such pleasures
Whilst others, unbearable hurt
Beauty that lies on the surface
Intentions that hide underneath
Those first moments of such elation
Whilst the final result makes us weep
I need a reason to trust and to follow
A reason to exhale, to breathe
More than a moment to cherish
Are you more than a reason to me?
Are you the one I was seeking
Could it really be you that I see
Scared but willing to gamble
To be more than I thought I could be
Rush of the scent of creation
Stream of the waters of life
Like a soldier going to battle
I raise my sword to fight
I shall ne'er succumb to the doubts in the darkness
Allow anxious or nervousness strength
Into the arms of the soul I belong to
Fully Prepared to endure any lengths
I am the creation of light and life
For a purpose I seek and I ache
More than a struggle to me this life
