Best Escapade Poems
At night our souls are free to roam
Rendezvous sans inhibition
Without confines fly miles from home
On divine clandestine mission
Do whatever souls delight in
Dance under galactic starlight
Serenaded by angel kin
Adieu we’ll meet again tonight

Lay
Wind on harbor - on the wing,
a diamond, apple red,
darts and twirls beyond the string
I guide above my head.
Before a line unwound she flees.
Kite’s climb becomes a swoop.
A shift in rhythm of the breeze;
she makes a crazy loop.
I follow at a steady pace
beneath Kite’s streaming tail
as rising up, she starts to chase
A boat with billowed sail.
The sun behind her slides and casts
a crimson light. She glows!
She soars with gulls, pursuing masts,
But then abruptly slows!
Now wind blows cold, and bright bold Kite,
who fancied herself free,
forgot who held the string - and flight
curtailed - draws near to me.

Personification
Paul was poking around in the pumpkin patch
Looking for a pumpkin to snatch.
The eerie sound of a fiddle,
Made him piddle just a little,
And his breath so hard to catch!
He ran as fast as he could
And hid himself in the wood,
When he turned to see who followed,
His tongue he almost swallowed,
Then he wet himself real good!
He could have been caught, I bet,
And that’s what you’d usually get,
But certain physical laws,
Saved him here ..because…
One is quite slippery when wet!

Burglars invade my small home.
Cats escape through door ajar.
Worry and searching for days.
Unscathed they return!

Hush now darling
But don’t dare to close your eyes
Our bodies are crossing
Your hips between my thighs
Our thoughts crystallize
Free your minds expressions
Feel the things you see
Motivate this session
With your wildest fantasy
Think and let it be
Let our love be our genie
We are each others wings
Our love’s magic like Houdini
On a carpet ride we sing
How our love forever rings
Hush now darling
Tonight will be the key
Look to the starling
Let imagination lead,
And hormones free

Suddenly the tallest mountain set on fire,
And I suddenly leaped three times higher,
Oh God, I wondered ''Is this your wrath''?
But wait, wait, I guessed that was not Earth!
There was a beautiful sunrise,
But the sun was half of it's size.
Barren yet beautiful, red yet dull,
Perhaps existence of life was also null.
I could not believe my own eyes,
Oh,God, that was Mars to my surprise!
But how did I come here?
My mind stopped working in utter fear.
Suddenly a martian man stood by my side,
And observed me in utter surprise.
Then he started nodding his head,
His whole body seemed to be painted in red.
Tears started rolling down my cheeks,
Being sure that I was in high risk.
Minutes within his fellows joined him,
They talked in their own language, it seemed.
Together they leaped three times,
And sung a song similar to our rhymes.
At this point they seemed harmless,
And they tried to make me their friend I guess.
I also nodded my head and leaped three times,
And tried to sing a song in the form of rhyme.
It worked magically and I became their friend,
Through gestures, nodding we interacted till the end.
We came to know each other,
And we had fun altogether.
Now it was time for me to return to Earth,
Where everybody was eagerly waiting for my birth.

Let's shake loose grown-up do's, go out and play.
My love, let's turn our somber needs to young.
This sunny day's our escapade bouquet.
Let's play to stay life's cheer upon our gray.
This day's high lovely clouds are fluffy strung.
Let's shake loose grown-up do's, go out and play.
We two can scheme as leafy branches sway
or race-eat ice cream using just the tongue.
This sunny day's our escapade bouquet.
We'll frolic in fun streams with splash-slapped sprays.
Hummed melodies from nature will be sung.
Let's shake loose grown-up do's, go out and play.
Our playfulness we must not let decay.
We'll chase the day as giggles fill our lungs.
This sunny day's our escapade bouquet.
We'll lay on grass and let our fancies stray.
Adulthood tossed, our spirits will be sprung.
Let's shake loose grown-up do's, go out and play.
This sunny day's our escapade bouquet.

(I heard this story from someone and made it into a rhyming etheree, but for all I know, it
could be an urban legend!)
The family had traveled to the San
Diego Zoo. About what their son
did, they didn't have a clue! He'd
stashed in his backpack something
on a whim. Later, they
found the penguin he'd
hid the whole way
home in the
bath with
him!

Ancient oaks permeate this hidden heaven;
A hundred fifty miles from any known destination.
Filled with an energy sensed by all life;
One who wonders here is freed from all strife.
The mantra embedded is contentment;
For here is void of resentment.
This wonderful ancient forest;
Blissfully ignorant of common-day tourist.
Connected unabashedly with all that's present;
From the rocks to the frogs, and every last pheasant.
Consciousness in sync;
There's no need to think.
A fresh forest breeze dilutes inhibitions;
A sip of brook water restores lost ambitions.
Nature's raw beauty, no need for façade;
The original panacea, in one forest escapade.

What stupid fools, with foggy minds
hovering through menkind like a clouding mist of turmoil,
trying to convert humanity to ignorancy
religion and spiritual meet and merge but part their separate ways
But these persistant followers remain in the merge being insistent, intruding and demanding
and each follower with their own personal savior ,to justify their course.
how does light exist in a world void of darkness.
A God without his polarity
is like an above without a below.
why you fools ,so highly oppinionated yet you fail to help yourselves
Constantly seeking yet, ye have not the eyes to see.
eyes so clouded with ire, ignorancy and pride
Why then boast superior? ye the lords of earth?,
Why thinketh yourselves worth of the titles superior masters of all, yet
ye remain even greater slaves than most
sometimes silence is better understood than mere words deeply spoken
though from a hollow bossom .
those with the knowledge, know when to apply it
in a world like ours, so clouded by the mists of those who believe in a certain perfection.
I am the lord of polarity in isaiah 45 vs 7
"I the lord do and cause all things"
isn't it boring, a world without contradiction
cannot what brings harm also be used for a better good
Then all become neutral as one extreme leads to the other,
as death eventually leads to life and the end of any course is the beginning of another cycle
is not evil an intention found in a foul heart a concept for only humans .
doesn't even greater evil lurk in places of worship, audaciously
standing before us and using the book he crooks the poor.
what greater blasphemy than that
which lurks behind the curtain & goes by a title
"confess thy sins my children", he says
now aint he your lord .

Whispers of crimson poetry
Nature's gentle voice sings to me
Taking me on an escapade
Through the thin black haphazard
Nudging me higher with each grip
The words waltz in my heart
Artless fireflies on a spring night

A Trump Escapade
Have you heard about a Trump escapade?
About the women he liked and also laid
Was abusing and at times being brutal
And attempts to stop him were futile
All of his actions should be forbade.

Limerick
Early morning chill in the air
Jack the Frost with ice in his hair
Sliding along on his slippered feet
upon trails left from his whispered heat
Singing so lightly his winter tune
hoping ice remnants will last until noon
Knowing that soon the icicles will stay
just a dingaling instrument along his way
Keeping tune with the wind chimes
swaying tall grasses in pantomime
Basso is felt from wind blown branches
winters song music will always entrans' us
As beautiful the melody,as ice crystals fall
caution,be steady,avoiding Frost's snowy walls......

You held me once, the last ripe mango on the tree
We danced, the wind played love songs in moonlight
I held you, the petal priming the waggling bee
Something in kiss so sensuous flowered us with delight.
Our footsteps pressed upon the naked skin of sand
Wrote promises transistory as your fallen memory
And the tree that's there, scarred by my weary hand
Still have a heart and your sweet name on its history
I go down to the sea sometimes to read and to wait
To sigh while the willows cry, and dance alone there
Loyalty is a painful virtue, only lovers can truly hate -
The sea's bare bosom rise and fall slowly to my stare.

Roses are red, and violets are blue,
I've been meaning to ask, would you like to come through?
We could go for a walk, or grab a drink or two,
And see where the night takes us, just me and you.
I promise an evening of excitement and fun,
Maybe we'll share a kiss if our hearts beat as one.
So what do you say, will you be my date,
For a night of adventure and maybe even fate?
