A Zoo Escapade

(I heard this story from someone and made it into a rhyming etheree, but for all I know, it could be an urban legend!) The family had traveled to the San Diego Zoo. About what their son did, they didn't have a clue! He'd stashed in his backpack something on a whim. Later, they found the penguin he'd hid the whole way home in the bath with him! For Barbara Gorelick's "Tales from the Zoo"

How funny, Andrea. Sometimes these urban legends are based on fact. Imagine how the parents felt when they found him playing in the bath with the penguin! Congratulations on your win. Love, Carolyn

Shame, the poor penguin must have been traumatised, a fish out of water comes to mind.. Andrea best of luck with your creative write for the contest, love Wilma
