The magnolia almost whispers to me.
Let the stream pass by me, nourishing
Food that comes from the sweet current.
That flows from hills down to my cottage.
There are many quant cottages around,
All decorated with climbing green plants,
I love them all, ivies, clematis, vines, and more.
But I am in love with the magnolia tree.
She blooms in late Spring, silently full of fragrance
Night or day it is a splendour of pure delight.
Alas the bloom will fade, as all things must,
But beauty is not eradicated easily.
Its petals remind me of days long gone,
Of laughter echoing through the garden air.
Now I sit beneath its shade alone,
Yet feel embraced by fragrance that once spread.

We hear your voice across this nation
We send our love and admiration
Now standing in awe of what you do
We dedicate this day to you.
On nine eleven our world was torn
Only to rise, our strength reborn
An end to terror our only choice
And you became freedom's voice
Our country will not be intimidated
Terrorists will be eradicated
We stand behind you until the day
When you come home to the USA.
They destroyed two buildings side by side
They will never destroy American Pride
We the people, with our hearts we say
To our troops, Happy Valentine's Day.

I miss so many things: the old pear tree, which once lived by the walk and the bees inside. The bees almost never stung, but made the most delightful buzz. The smell of the pear blossoms and the fruit as it rotted on the ground. I even miss the colonies of ants, which swarmed. You see, I chopped it down. Well, the bees stung my ex-husband, or, he was scared of the bees, or some such thing. The bees like the cat, knew more about the true core of the man than I did. Once the cat shat on his side of the bed, and pulled the sheet over it. Even then, I didn’t really hear nature’s call. I miss the rose bushes, which I tore out because of the June bugs. “Mustn’t have untidy, ugly, things around me,” fool that I was, and continue to be. I have almost eradicated the wild violets. Soon, even I will be gone. “Who will remember all that sweetness? Oh, the pear crisp with crumbled cinnamon crust on a Fall day, all gone.”
a mown lawn
stretches to the horizon –
a hedge clipper whir
The Rose Queen was a lesser villain than I. She was imaginary and I am real, or so I believe. “If you’d lived with Alice would you have played croquet with a flamingo club?”

Tonight I speak to you,
with a sober mind that
keeps my memories vivid,
and a melancholy mood
that reflects the deepest
darkest depths of my
dangerous depression,
Sealed with heartache
Stamped with the hurtful
indiscretions of a man made
ignorant by the reality of a
loss that eradicated his soul,
Be it prudent to allow my
reminiscence to fade into
the infinite background of
forgotten brooded teenage angst
My memories are empowered
by love, and by such an emotion,
have denied my will and become
personified to the point of eternal
embodiment, grabbing my tongue
and squeezing out ink used to
express the immortal affection of
its own first and only creed,
Thus by the mutual compassion
once held by our hearts alike,
The monster of your imagination
was born to a world incapable of
comprehending the love of a
creature for the love of his creator,
A creature who hides his face
for he is hideous without you,
Crushed by the harrowing
lightening strike of being
condemned to a life without
the bolt of love that gave him
breath, he becomes the lost,
Yet he devotedly searches for you,
as I do, as we both breakdown
screaming and crying out loud,
in harmony, "Creator, please...
Love me again.."

MINDFUL OF SOLAR ECLIPSE
He’s coming with his dark glasses
and dizzying smile
He’s stopping by for a minute or two
a minuet of manic joy
He covers the sun with his steady hand
she tingles with trepidation
Will she be blotted out from his employ
she wipes off sweat as he passes by
Merely a warning of end times
dark days of deepened sin
We watch with amusement
arm in arm on love boats
Standing in main line parks
finding the perfect spot
Would we find the perfect standing of our heart
a bond with the patient perfect God
When the cross covered the earth in darkness
men of old took note
When the stone rolled away from the sun
the eclipse was eradicated
Emblematic pain or joy of your soul
gaze up with future foretold

Gaslight me, baby.
I don't want to hear the truth. Tell me you love me. Say you need me. Promise you'll never leave me. Convince me you think I hung, not just the moon, but the sun and stars as well. Delude me into believing that for you the sex was mind-blowing, that I was enough. Lie to me, sweetheart. Force me to accept that your wedding vows were not meaningless utterances, but absolute truths.
And girl, while you're at it, assure me that the world is at peace. That war, hatred, prejudice and poverty are no more. Sell me on a revisionist historian's view that Hitler was a leper messiah, that six millions Jews did not perish after all, that Nazism is just another benign, political ideology. Hook me on the notion that all the children of the world have full bellies, that homelessness has been eradicated, and that all people on planet earth love one another unconditionally.
Brainwash me into embracing the cliche that love is not a lie and that forever still exists. Make a believer out of me by holding me in your arms so tight that I gasp for air. Sway my mind and heart into accepting that our meeting was not by mere chance, but serendipity. Persuade me. Induce me. Deceive me. But whatever you do, my love, don't dare tell me the truth. Please, I beg, don't ever let me hear you say again,
I'm
leaving
you
Let me live the lie another day. I can bear the delusion, if permitted the illusion.
Gaslight me, baby.

Prose Poetry
A cold autumn morning,
new rains have arrived
today not so ordinary
A little girls birthday goes by
she had an accident
she awoke in her bed wet
today she is six, a present she did
not expect
A day without the jug cord
would be her birthday wish
Her hope is soon faded,
for there her mother stood,
A birthday beating just begun-
her mothers' way
of a little fun
"you dirty little b!#@h"!
I'm sick of washing your sheets
this will fix you...and fix you good
till you're black and blue
...or till I'll make you bleed"!
Happy Birthday to me...
through aches and tears
I am happy
I survived to date six years
alone in her closet
she'd make this her car
travel to far away happy lands
go shopping for a star
once she bet the jug cord
she collected up the sheets
took her mums' old coal shovel
buried them under the house
darkest corner beneath,
her father gave her sixpence
every time she was dry,
or if she wet, he'd make her wetter
he'd put her in a cold bath
the little girl would trick him,
moving the sheets about
her mother would come in the room
catch the little girl out
the little girl did such things
out of fear she lied
the little girl was in a place
she was trying to survive
she adapted to her father
she adapted to her mother
though difficult it was
it affected everything
looking back the way she was
she changed her life completely
eradicated the fear
her life gets better and better
year after year
her mum and dad to this day
the little girl forgave
she understands the way they were
a woman she has grown
forgiving to her grave
she struggles on her birthday
preferring to enjoy
her spirit accepts what happened
on that day the present
she avoids

Lyric
I believe I fell asleep last year at the cusp of a new agenda.
As a new virus took root, I found myself eradicated from society
in a way I never imagined.
All of a sudden instead of immersing myself in music and dance
and coffee talk chats, I found myself immersed in diluted contact
such as social distancing and Zoom;
mother-in-law dies
so does my bird named, Ringo
we bury them both
The same day we bury our Gloucester canary in the backyard,
we buried my mother in law, as I partook in a family funeral
miles away from home, I realized that the sun non-selectively
continued to shine no matter what . So much has happened
in such a short span, I feel it is out of my hands.
six months later
still waiting for the vaccine,
life can be so mean

Question my mannerisms, do you cause me
Kindness, should be shown to no friend
Reciprocation, will their beliefs differ
In vain, will all my acts become
As if trust, can be nurtured by none
Relationships prove worthless
A resident was my heart, of yours
Care, did you show little
Every deceitful word you spoke, your actions I forgave
Though limitations, are there to all
My temperament had I subsided well
Anger, had you extracted by force
Help another, was I prepared
My time to you, did I devote
Though ungrateful, you proved
To wound me through blame, you chose
Fall did I, at gravity's feet
Your eyes unmoved, by my downed sight
Potential, did I try to see in all
To be a good samaritan, I had tried
Though it is with humanity, that humility is eradicated
No matter my attempts to encourage
An ant opposing a boot, will I always be
My disappointment, have you only proved
To be a fool, I strived for you not to be
Your success, did I crave to see
Though chase my own tail, did you force me to
Exerted all my energy in runs, you showed no care
My belongings were not close, you manipulated my belief
A fool of me, did you purposely create
Murder as I watched, would be of no pain
The bullet I would provide, for whoever wished a shot
Though my eyes, saw little through the opacity
Your sharp hands, had your touch guised
In my fellow beings, was my faith strong
Through your blade, was it all lost
In humanity, was my faith a sight to behold
Though anger did you only ask through disappointment
To make a fool of me, your unseen blade chose

If I could change the world,
i would resurrect the humanity
humanity towards indigents
man would be rich by heart not wealth
wealth towards charity
money would flow not filled in greedy cupboard,
if I could change the world,
Real democracy with all human rights
right towards freedom
no limitations but absolute freedom
freedom towards sky
empty would be cages and freely flying birds,
if I could change the world,
I would change every heart's attitude
attitude towards life
everyone could show their gratitude
gratitude towards god
No more complaints, as pain would be conquered
if I could change the world,
best creation of god would be respected
respect towards women
be it a strange, mother, wife, daughter
empathy towards all
eradicated immoral deeds which recurred,
if I could change the world,
nations will not be divided by borders
border towards bonding
world would be a family with one vision
vision towards peace
there would be no chance of world war third,
if I could change the world...

A Place of Creation
---------------------
Telephone City, Wayne Gretzky’s home town, the place of my birth.
Thirty three years, I played, worked and walked this piece of earth.
Given - by Sir Frederick Haldimand, “ Haldimand Proclamation, ” -
to the Iroquois, six miles, each side of the Grand River, the six Nation
Reserve, from its source to its mouth ( 950,000 acres ) 904,000 eradicated,
46,000 acres left for the Mohawk, Cayuga, Onondaga, the rest confiscated,
as the Oneida, Seneca and Tuscarora are left to share this land.
Most taken by many devious means at the white man’s hand.
This is the place I grew up, the place that educated me.
The mean Streets of Brantford, forty years I seldom see.
Three thousand miles, forty two years away.
Life has been, in many ways, lived within a fray.
Home is where the soul, the spirit, the heart is, anyway.
So out here in beautiful B. C., is where I will stay.

" Mephistopheles became a river whose current flowed in the wrong direction,
he believed that suffering could be eradicated from life,
absurd as lead being wieghtless,
his deviance led him to challenge my hegemony in the meditterranian world
during the climax of ancient Rome.
He became obsessed with silly theories of evil,
money is evil, war is evil,
vengence, dishonesty, greed, everything instrumental
to gaining competitive success Mephistopheles was considering to be bad,
he had gone insane
and so I immolated him to the Cosmos
and in loving memory I established a Church, an Empire, from his life,
I made gold from grease."
I was completely stunned by these revelations,
I nearly forgot how to breathe,
I was like a child lost in a labyrinth of questions, doubts & beliefs,
every walkway becoming longer,
every moment
darker, everything true suspect,
I was panicing through amazement,
I mustered the strength to ask one more question
before He dismissed me,
do you think you're evil,
the Devil said,
" I am remorseless, unforgiving and unmistakable,
I can be the pulse of your dreams
and the strain in your heart,
I am a purity so clean
that I am toxic to the profane; I am flesh."

Terrorism is the new face of barbarism
Decades passed since barbarism eradicated
But our earth is once again confiscated
Emerged by intimidation of terrorism
A war loaded with ammunition
A threat at a gunpoint
That's somehow becomes end point
Here terrorism won over humanity
Mankind,killed with insanity
Gods benevolence somehow disappears
Then terrorists suddenly appears
Tricks everyone and enter with slow pace
And bloodbath whole of the place
At first firing and screaming heard
Then the noises of weeping, tears shed
Souls departs from the dead
Witness the brutal world but their questions left unanswered
That why innocents life became blurred
Gradually their body rests in grave , not in peace but in rage
Life turned dark because there is no one longer for family to camoulfage
Every person on earth interrogates
That why on earth terrorists do blood shed
Why they let many tears shed
From where they come from
Neither for cast,nor for nationality
But their hearts are filled with brutality
These are not the war against region
But the wars against humanism
The barbarism now termed as terrorism
They did what they had learnt
by slaughtering the one who comes in Front
Nobody knows why they quench for war
Why they want to pile up the corpses
Perchancly they got pride instead of remorses
War by war they becomes more maleficent
Destroy the world which once was magnificent
Aftermath was very catastrophic
Now terrorism is the new face of barbarism
Because barbarians has no culture and civilization
