Great to know that you are a survivor of the awful disease cancer..It is wonderful that there have been so many great medical advances in the early detection and treatment of this disease. Thanks for entering my contest..Sara

My hubby had cancer surgery which was very successful - we say the cancer was killed - and not the other way around... but if it wasn't for his surgery I would never have started writing!:-) hugs jan xx

Yes, Jan...cancer can be eradicated, and it is this positive message that we have to spread, because many just give up without a fight; survivors can show the way. This is one of the best entries that I have read so far...well done and congratulations! Hugs // paul

Cancer is such a scourge. I am a cancer survivor myself. It was about 10 years ago. You capture the disease well in this work! Peace & Love Matthew Anish

The surgeon eradicated my hubby's cancer - it is the thing that died not him I wan't to give a positive message that it can be beaten:-)Hugs Jan xx

Had to read this one twice because I was thrown off by the last line. The the light: it was the cancer that died. Thanks for liking the imagery of Knittingl Over a year ago I saw this young lady in high heels walking pigeon-toed. I thought it comical. I finally found the words go make it graphic. / M

Cancer took my mother And scourged Jan's life too. No stronger enemy. But, Cancer can be beaten. Eridacated completely. Rejoice in that.
