Premium Member Remember Doris
Doris' procedure is today
Remember her
It is laparoscopic which is not as bad as open incision but still surgery

Followed by only clear liquids for a week

Then protein shakes

Then pureed baby food

Then food introduced slowly

She was really anxious yesterday..Concerned if she had made the right decision,...

Doris Day
Platinum Beauty
Quick with a smile
Electrify the movie screen

Timeless charms and fashions bold
A voice of velvet and feminine brawn
Works to get the job well done
Even with life's complications in tow

Lover of animals great and small
Cute and furry gets the love
Kind and well liked by her...

Book: Radiant Verses: A Journey Through Inspiring Poetry

Ricky and Doris
A puppeteer and a columnist
Two greeting persons of great talent
A writer and a simple artist
Met in New York on a bench God-sent
Acquaintance that brought humor and scent
To watchers and walkers awed with skill
Moving and talking puppets that shrill...

Doris' Brontosaurus
There once was a sweet girl named Doris
who kept a big pet brontosaurus.
All day long they would play
after which they would pray
and sing the Hallelujah Chorus.

Doris Lessing Rip
Doris Lessing is dead,
And she's not a feminist,
An uninhibited outspoken
novelist,
She's also sociable and
artistic.

Mind you she's no easy meat,
Won the Nobel Prize for a
lifetime writing,
Passed away at the age of
ninety four,
And her memories through
her books will continue.

Premium Member Fisherman (Co-Written With Doris Culverhouse)
Swimming, life carefree
Net tightens around the school
Deliverance, grace

May your hook always be cast
Where you least expect fish caught

Synergism, save
These lost fish, grateful intent
Catch and release, Life

Responsible now
Freedom, new life in warm water
Breach, spout words, joy, sing

School of life, protective school
Numbers rise with the right...

Doris, You Can Drive My Bus!
DORIS, YOU CAN DRIVE MY BUS!

Doris, I’ve been wantin to ride your bus.
Ain’t asking much, so don’t be making a fuss.

Thank God you’re not driving the short one,
‘cause riding with you has always been fun.

Been riding school buses since my feet would dangle.
Long and yellow...

Granny Doris Lives On
Granny Doris Lives On

“There’s no such thing as rain in Tintagel”.
That’s what my Granny Doris says.
“It’s always lovely weather
For grabbing a bag of pegs”.

She ‘heave-ho’s’ wet laundry
Into a basket wide,
Then tugs and grumbles
To drag it all outside.

There’s no such thing as rain in Tintagel
Enough...

In midair the govenor
Yearns...jet burst apart

Soup of Doris
A quiet almost abrupt person
Believes in heaven and eternity
Culverhouse, cuddly cheer giver
Dang dandy Doris
Enjoys food rich and sweet
Funny in a dry sort of way
Girl in my mind freckles and bangs
Handy and loves to learn

For Tracie Edwards contest
thanks for the inspiration!!...

Mrs Doris Delph
To the “mother” I wish I had,
To the sister I wish I knew,
I want you to know this,
I love you!
I want God to bless you,
Even more than me,
When you die, I want you to go,
To Heaven for eternity.
	May God lift your voice,
To Heaven up above,
And...
