Best Disobeying Poems
A sister is as close
As Mother and Dad.
They share all our memories,
Of the first home we had.
Laughing, and playing house,
Or just going to school-
Ball games, sharing chores,
Or at times disobeying the rules.
New clothes that Mama made,
And quilts on cold winter nights.
Homemade soup and tea cakes,
And lessons by the old lamp light.
Grandma visiting, our sleeping
On quilts laid down on the floor,
Preacher’s coming for Sunday dinners,
And eating till we thought there
Would be no more.
A sister is so special,
You treasure each one.
They are a part of you, always,
Till your time on earth is done.

Frozen embers still are burning;
Deep inside, my heart is yearning
For revival, the returning
Of man's heart before the fall:
Man and woman, disobeying
Lost the heart for which I'm praying,
Pure and holy, never straying-
Take my heart, Lord, take it all.
Frozen embers now are burning,
Fanned to flames by heaven's learning,
Good and evil things discerning
By the Spirit and the Word.
Fan the embers dim and dying;
Breathe in me, I tire of trying:
All my efforts end in sighing,
But through You is joy secured.

Praise the Ruler of nations!
God is mightier than anybody:
they try to defeat His army,
but can they win against angels?
Even Jesus, the shining sun,
defied death and amazed many:
the massive stone rolled away...
He was no longer mocked by men!
Praise the Ruler of nations!
Proclaim His name from every corner,
and although He's invisible, He's near...
whenever we're afflicted by wretchedness!
Had God not sent Jesus to save us indeed,
we wouldn't have any hope for happiness;
had God's love not been so grandly revealed:
we would be living a life of total wretchedness!
Praise the Ruler of nations!
He'll inflict misery on the ones disobeying Him;
He'll fill the endless skies with brimstone and fire!
Hail to the Ruler of nations!
Unquestionable is the foolishness of Kim,
but his desire for conquest will end in dire!

A frightened boy, I felt an ache inside
for not liking girls as other boys did.
And I still remember the nights I cried;
for feeling feelings, that the Lord forbid.
Consumed by a relentless ache, I hid
my feelings, for they left me petrified.
And I wasn't brave like a normal kid;
a frightened boy, I felt an ache inside.
Fate had stripped my fragile ego of pride:
my inner self was kept under a lid.
And I felt ostracized and pushed aside,
for not liking girls as other boys did.
I gravely feared disobeying God's bid
and often ran into the woods to hide.
But facing a slippery slope, I slid,
and I still remember the nights I cried.
I'd contemplate committing suicide
when I was alone, somewhere off the grid.
And within my soul, this ache amplified;
feeling the feelings, that the Lord forbid.
I dreamt of privateers like Captain Kidd:
yet, in sports, no team picked me for their side;
I felt the world hated me as a kid.
And when no one cared if I lived or died,
I felt an ache inside.

The Morning Speaks With Skylarks Singing
....inspired by 'Poem in October' by Dylan Thomas
The morning speaks with skylarks singing
o'er the greening meadows and the pliant pasture,
crisp and clear, like God's first measure of
a holy hymn.
The air alive with
songs of praise, the gentle winds a sacred message,
the ocean sighing, gulls aloft on wings of prayer.
His grand prescription,
like a dream
that streams out from the pillows of the heavens.
I liked to wander by the sea shore,
skipping stones, disobeying laws of gravity.
A sudden shower would see me running
fancy free,
between the rain drops,
I cried 'Excelsior!' and set the hills alive;
I skittered, happy as a lamb on shaky legs
and tumbled freely,
without care,
'til gasping, I would stop to catch my breath.
The halcyon days of youth came true,
when I would race forever 'neath the tawny sun,
bedaubed in Autumn blood,
the flame,
a blend of hues
the likes of which would make a young boy doubly blind,
and lead him into kingdoms where the battlefields
would blister scarlet,
happy times
that made me see my childhood clearly.
The weather turned again, and shanties
high atop the hillside loomed like castles drifting
in the sea-blown mist, the noise of boats,
their nets pulled,
nudging at the jetty.
From the sand the village was a hazy spectre,
the chapel steeple peeking like Rapunzel's lair,
her hair a daydream
falling soft,
O fanciful imagination!

Verse
I was told never to climb
I never was one to follow rules
I climb a fence and fell
I broke my arm and didn’t tell
A week went by I could no longer stand it
I told my father I was chased by birds
I told him that I had fell
The fear of him was so strong
That the pain in my arm was nothing
To the fear of disobeying him
Many years later he died from a trailer fire
I did not shed one tear

Sometimes fundamentalist Christians
Give the expression “to be saved”
All you need to do is “repent”
Meaning to give up your sinful ways
This sentence from the Gospel of St. Mark
May seem to support this perspective
Trouble is
It all depends on what you mean by “repentance”
“Sin”
Some Catholics seem to limit their understanding of sin to a legalistic one
Where disobeying a law, rule
Or Commandment is what sin is all about – period
It maybe more balanced
Spiritually beneficial to understand
As any behavior that breaks or weakens
One’s relationship with Eternal God
Neighbor or oneself
A healthy understanding of the Sacrament of Reconciliation
Based on the insight that reconciliation with Eternal God happens in
Through reconciliation with the faith community that is the Church
Accordingly
One may sin
By either doing something
Or not doing something

You told me not to play on the doghouse.
You told me multiple times that day
That I should not play on the dog house.
Later that night, sometime after dinner,
I built a fortress made of thick wooden blocks.
At some point, when we were getting coats ready to leave,
You were talking with my parents in the kitchen
Over on last cup of dandelion tea.
The older kids were outside smoking cigarettes.
I asked for permission and went out
Under an older brother's supervision.
The steps from the side door were rough red-stoned brick.
I hopped down them, onto the stone paved sidewalk
And went out to that doghouse.
I sat at the edge of the sidewalk
Dangling my feet into the hole the dog had dug
Through concrete and dirt,
And I took a hard look at that doghouse.
I don't think anyone even noticed as I settled myself to sit
On the plywood roof of that dog house.
I fell off the doghouse and into that hole.
My right elbow smashed into the concrete at the hole's edge,
Separating the bones at the spot.
I don't recall if I went inside
Or if you came to me first.
Ice was put on my arm and I was rushed to the hospital.
I wore a caste through the beginning of Summer.
My kindergarten class and the first graders
All signed the relic.
The whole tee-ball team signed it,
And that last game before we moved
They all signed the game ball and gave it to me.
I never apologized to you
For disobeying that caring command.
What child would?
It seems now that I've lost the chance,
And for that I'm truly sorry.

Eid ul Azha
Eid ul Azha takes place on the 10th of Zil Hajj.
Eid-ul-Adha marks the end of Hajj, the sacred pilgrimage to the Holy city of Mecca.
The Hajj to Mecca is a once-in-a-lifetime obligation upon male and female adults whose health and means permit it.
Abraham was instructed by Allah, in a dream, to raise the foundations of Holy Kaaba, the most sacred shrine in Mecca.
God revealed in a dream to Abraham to sacrifice his son Isma’il.
Abrahim and Isma’il set off to Mina for the sacrifice.
As they went, the devil attempted to lead Abraham astray by disobeying God and not to sacrifice his beloved son.
But Abraham remained unfaltered in his decision and true to God, and drove the devil away.
As Abraham prepared to kill his son, God stopped him and gave him a sheep to sacrifice instead.
So it is Popularly known as the Festival of Sacrifice
This Muslim holiday Eid-ul-Azha commemorates Prophet Abraham’s unselfish act of sacrificing(Qurbani) his own son to the One God, Allah.
The festival reminds everyone of the mercy and benefits bestowed upon mankind by Allah.
On Eid ul Azha many muslims come together with love and without a grudge.
Families sacrifice an animal and feed the poor and needy people .
And exchange greetings with the neighbours next door, family and friends also.
People who are away from the Holy pilgrimage, Hajj, also carry out this traditional sacrifice.
We go to the Mosques in our best clothes.
But first we sure we are clean from our head to our toes.
On People visit each other's homes and partake in festive meals with special dishes, beverages, and desserts.
Children receive gifts and sweets on this happy occasion.
This day I am ever so grateful being blessed Creature of God Almighty.
So we can truly conclude
Eid is always a blessed day
Filled with joy and blessing I must say.

We’re Just Sinful Human Beings!
All of us are just sinful human beings!
Scripture says; “the heart is sinful above everything!”
Even if we try to hide and wash our sins away…
Wickedness in our heart, is there, each day!
God made Adam and Eve, with perfection!
But sin crept in, like a deep and wicked infection!
He put them in the Garden of Eden with a choice.
It was up to them to listen to his voice.
They had all they could want, with one instruction.
Disobeying this, would lead to their destruction.
Satan took the form of a snake to tempt their mind.
And their disobedience affected all of mankind!
Since that time, mankind has needed atonement!
Only the blood of Jesus can cleanse you! This very moment!
Only his blood can wash away sin’s dark stain!
It can only be found when one calls on Jesus’ name!
We’ve all sinned and fallen short of God’s glory!
But wait! This doesn’t have to be the end of the story!
God and all of his angels in heaven, are waiting for YOU!
The love and blood of Jesus,
can make you BRAND NEW!
His love, for our sins, is what he offers in exchange!
You can be forgiven! And forever totally changed!
This opportunity is for you, to reach out and take!
Won’t you do it now? For eternity’s sake???

I want to write about asking for what you want
Do you know that is your right?
Yes as a person - you have a God's given right
- asking for what you want
God made all of us want something
Know what we want
And sometimes don't know what we want
But eventually we all know what we want
Would He do that to us
if He knows He is not going to fulfill it?
But it has to come within His will for us
and in His own time
God has a will for all of us
- each of us
It all depends on His perfect plan
So if you pray for His will to be your will
It's all the more better
You know why some people walk all their lives in the wilderness?
Because they don't know how to tune in
Tune in by giving up your will
Tune in by listening and obey
There is nothing turn you off faster to God than disobeying
I sure don't want to find out
There is a voice - an inner voice - a voice of God
It is not an audible voice
But if you tune in, you will hear Him
God wants everyone to hear Him
It is us that we tune Him out
And not listening
And not obeying
Anyway I talk too much already
You know when to listen
You know when to fight
But always be true
God loves a true person
Don't b s with Him
Anyway be there or be square
Listen to Him and tune in
Make what He wants what you want
And all you do is ask

Loneliness affected my waste, due to fire-heart and desire
Craving perfection~A true love story, told in the heat of passion
Majesty to my backbone, ball of fire upon confinement
Emperor to all my fire balls of love, until peace and quiet
Hit my soul, touched- thus depressing feeling
Running in blood
Silence, in my lust~O greed for another, took away this drive
Energy of love, left isolation controlling my itch
For I hunger no-more, upon lies and friendly companionship
Sympathetic puts a face of loneliness, longing for true love
True love to be so true, yet never abused, has love was used
Upon my heart, cheated in many ways, disobeying under skies
Violate marriage into a face of loneliness
The many nights my heart is left in shadows secluded
Thinking of our love story, laughter and tears
Many nights you held me tight it was bright
Now I go on every night with a fight, has I continue to cry
This love story to you, in the little time left under my feet
Hoping you would see, I never stop loving you
It’s so true
Has I must say good-bye face of loneliness and you
Crowned-headed to my loyalty and beauty
Is no longer, yours love sweet love
I send thus love story upon the wings of a dove
So your heart may know, my roses will stand above
Face of loneliness, will cure the knife left in my back
So please, don’t forget to write back
Love always, Face of Loneliness

Narrative
You offended my shape
I don’t know if you meant it
After a couple of days
You smiled to me
I looked away
Your smile was so true, was so full of truth
But still
I looked away
Today…
You fought with me about something
Concerning decorations
And offended my traits and habits
Then you, yourself developed a nasty habit
The habit of looking at people
But being blind to look at yourself
I advised you
Apply your advice to yourself, before saying it to me
Then again, you whispered to your other sister
And by that you’re disobeying prophet Mohammad
You ignored me carelessly and taught your sister
A bad habit
Again and again
How pathetic are you I thought…
Then now, you come to me
And give me a candy, I took it
You spoke: I love you
I ignored you and wished if you said:-
You’d never do it again

Falling asleep, you will see me –
faithful and yours for the claiming.
I won’t be asking, while caressing your sleep,
if we had been ever related.
Falling asleep, I will see you –
reaching concepts of piety, slowly sipping their taste:
and whatever we love, whatever we’re grieving
is becoming the same thing from which we are made.
The wind, scattering, rearranges the landscapes,
spilling into the spaces – no memory, no goal.
Wildly lifts us away, disobeying, abandoning –
watercolored, our faces merge in one vicious whole.
We can hardly inhale above waters pallid,
brooks are gasping for breath, underground, darkly fated.
Ageing elations and tearless eyelids –
we are born every morning defenseless and naked.
I am blessing the snow, silently shed,
as my footsteps back home are tracing their pattern
to questions that stretch to the morning ahead
and to love, getting worn out and tattered.
Wander in dreams through the valley of books,
Wuthering Heights, and the England of memories…
Twenty years old and in love, as you looked –
who do you think will always remember you?
Try to never look back to seasons and beckonings,
give your song to the world and release it.
Trust a passage that leads to the sea flowing endless,
and then walk on the shore. It is easy.

Verse
There is a higher being
one that chooses to speak the truth through us
To not believe is a grave disobedience parallel to disobeying the word
in the new covenant the circle is complete
You must take this wound and cover it for what it's worth
as part of the whole body inflicted and injured
because healing comes from the charity forgiving praying
For those poor blind souls lost to the world
they need to rise above their human weaknesses
in the end it boils down too whom do you serve
I felt the blade enter cutting deeper than the bone
The lies need to be stopped and exposed
at what table would a character sit
one side supports division by ruthless measures
the other peace and unity
There is a sadness about betrayal it never comes from our enemies
this bar is set high because what is rotten corrupts the very fruit with poisonous lies
the apple will always fall for the temptations as gravity pulls
against the force the window of the soul reflects how the heart operates
