The Morning Speaks With Skylarks Singing
....inspired by 'Poem in October' by Dylan Thomas
The morning speaks with skylarks singing
o'er the greening meadows and the pliant pasture,
crisp and clear, like God's first measure of
a holy hymn.
The air alive with
songs of praise, the gentle winds a sacred message,
the ocean sighing, gulls aloft on wings of prayer.
His grand prescription,
like a dream
that streams out from the pillows of the heavens.
I liked to wander by the sea shore,
skipping stones, disobeying laws of gravity.
A sudden shower would see me running
fancy free,
between the rain drops,
I cried 'Excelsior!' and set the hills alive;
I skittered, happy as a lamb on shaky legs
and tumbled freely,
without care,
'til gasping, I would stop to catch my breath.
The halcyon days of youth came true,
when I would race forever 'neath the tawny sun,
bedaubed in Autumn blood,
the flame,
a blend of hues
the likes of which would make a young boy doubly blind,
and lead him into kingdoms where the battlefields
would blister scarlet,
happy times
that made me see my childhood clearly.
The weather turned again, and shanties
high atop the hillside loomed like castles drifting
in the sea-blown mist, the noise of boats,
their nets pulled,
nudging at the jetty.
From the sand the village was a hazy spectre,
the chapel steeple peeking like Rapunzel's lair,
her hair a daydream
falling soft,
O fanciful imagination!
I will not weep for you,
Only happy tears I'll cry.
Part of living is learning,
How to say goodbye.
A happy tear for all,
The memories that we've shared,
And I'll remember all the ways,
You shhowed us that you cared.
I'll remember all the love
And carry it with me always.
You'll forever be in my heart,
For now, and all my days.
Hi brown eyes so lovely as thus just to here your smile is a sound of music to my ear. Yes to her your voice it’s so deep to know. Brown eye’s as lovely as thou watching your thinking mind just make happy to see an educated man is what all women want. Brown eye’s your dependable and nice one day will be a dream come true for a women but soon you will make a women happy person.
Out there in the farthest regions
Of emotional distress....I as well as she does
Yearns for love that hasn't been shared
The passionate kisses that has not yet been
Compared
but as the burning sensation in my heart
Devotes to your every need
I stand strong with my chin up
behind your smile, past the deep depths
Of your heart & soul
I look into your eyes and knowing about your past
From being hurt, burnt, used and confused
I wish to burry the hatchet
Because by the time I am done making my way inside
Inside your heart I can finally say....I am glad I stole.
Let me into your life and I will show you
That I care and will always be there
Its something we can finally say....we have something to share.
Dreaming of the nights where you are here by my side
And that one kiss is
something that I refuse to hide
Thinking of all the positive feelings and happy thoughts
I can look and stand proud to say the pimp in
Me has just died.
One day I will gaze upon a smile on your face
The type of smile that is impossible to replace
Feeling the comfortless in your arms
I will protect and provide from the worlds harms
Because weather you believe it or not I am your lucky charms.
I want us to share the good, the bad, the happy & the sad & the crappie moments
together
Living for 20 years straight and all I can say is
That you made me better.
As my imagination runs wild and free
Something so magical but so real to me
Begins to be something as close and feeling the love
That is so tender and saving our teen age love affair
in which I can finally it is something we can compare.
I am...and forever will be your prince charming
And you my cinderella..
I will go state by state.....city by city and even town by town just to find you and
thrown the missing glass slipper on your missing foot
But as I stay put
The final kiss determines if I am worthy or not
That's for you to answer.
Today's a day for all of soup to rejoice
For Ralph the poet has found his voice
He writes in rhymes but so do I
Don't tell him his words can make me cry
And I'll deny it until my dying day
Cause grown up men don't cry that way
On the 16th of June a celebration begins
My daughter was born, her and Ralph are my twins
I'll never forget holding little Ralphie in my arms
Though the hernia I got set off some alarms
I looked at my daughter and started to wave
Then looked back at Ralph who started to shave
My wife pushed my daughter in a stroller of course
With me pulling Ralphie in a wheel barrow by horse
And though I sued the stork for taking Ralphie back
They said Ralph wasn't a baby he was just getting a snack
So Happy Birthday Ralphie where ever you're at
Stay away from the fridge it's gonna make you too fat
I hope that you're healty wealthy and thin
But my daughter's in tears she misses her Twin
God Bless My Friend have a Happy Birthday and Many
More....Your Friend Larry
A broken heart is a broken home… a broken society
We owe each other a sincere love that will last long
Why should happy homes indulge in this impropriety?
I cry for the blessed brides that left the base they belong
Just because they can’t cope with stress, sweats and strains
I weep for those good grooms that weren’t steady and strong
Oh, how are some mighty marriages… plundered by pains?
A once happy home turns lifeless, loveless…a deadly desert
They couldn’t hold-on and together harvest their golden grains.
Why on earth do we have to break these lovely, happy hearts!
When you have once vowed, in sun and rain to be friend forever?
Why should you break that colorful cord, you are now far… apart
What would become of the seeds sown and do not train together?
Thanks to those continued to care… broken, but they do not bother!
