I Want To Throttle That Darned Axolotl!

I have a friend called Bob Beaubobble
who trains unusual pets to juggle
assorted items frequently fumbled
by freakish fish or octibumbles

This hobby made him mucha dinero
which he put in the bank ‘with interest’ to grow
but while he was filling in all of the forms
One creature escaped from under his arms

Unseen in the dark, in the bank late at night
It bypassed security through the intranet site
And juggled and gambled to its hearts content
playing with our pennies until they were spent

Red-faced officials met the press in a panic
George Bush sent more troops to Afghan and Iraq
World leaders drew circles around toxic debt
then pointed their fingers to the country that started it...

The slimy old salamander sucks his cigar
as he drives to his office in a luxury car.
CEO though all see he's a feckless axolotl
without any shame, just a shed load of bottle.

He's safe in the knowledge, while his bank has been drained
A huge bonus is scheduled to keep him retained
and cash will be pumped from the taxpayers vains
soon he’ll start things all over and gamble again.

Mentira - Means the Lie

Who am I? Quien soy?
Quien soy? Who am I?
Black, brown, red, white
Those people-what people
Greasy people-lazy people
Loud people-esa gente those
people, que jente, mi gente,
What people, my people

Wilfredo's coming!
Viene Wilfredo!
Look Out for the mail
That time of the month
Mi cheque: dinero My check
My money to dance, drink and
drug. Tiempo de olvidar
Time to forget

Kept in my place
Just no escape
Jobs pay too little
Checks come too late
Estoy cansado ya!
I am so tired
Me voy a levantar
I shall arise
Up off my booty
Up off my junk

Get out of my way!
Sal de mi camino!
Doors I will, con fuerza
With strength force open
Voy a entrar por las puertas
I will enter in, I will walk
through. Adelante! Oh alma
muerta onward oh dead soul
Adelante! Oh mente renovada
No duermas más! Sleep no
more! I am. Yo soy! Yo vivo!
I am. I live! Esclavitud no más!
A slave no more
No longer a slave!

Premium Member The Automobile- a Synasthroesmic Poem

The amazing, incredible, wonderful car
This extraordinary , inexplicable part of who we are

The big, the little, the long, the short, the bus
An exciting, capricious part of the kid in us

The clunker , the hybrid, the grand Roles Royce
There are dozens, hundred, for your choice

Depending on the dinero ,the dollar, the pence in your purse
Or if your a CFO, a poet, or a lowly nurse (me!)

There are just the wheels out there for you
Be they black , green, white or shades of blue

To be sure we love, hate, enjoy the automobile
Yes, for almost all of us it has an addicting appeal....

Premium Member Santa Buddy - a spoof of Santa Baby

Yo! Santa Buddy, do you think you could help out a bro,
You know, with some dinero.
Santa Buddy - my lady wants to eat somewhere nice.

Yo! Santa Buddy, do you think you could help out a friend
And send, something I can spend.
Santa Buddy - my lady wants some jewelry with ice.

Every time you hold out your hand,
I give a contribution for my fellow man.
Every time you ring your bell,
I put a few dollars in your silver pail.

Yo! Santa Buddy, your biggest admirer is me,
But see, my pocket's empty.
Santa Buddy - my lady is so way overpriced!

Carlos was a world famous matador

He had suffered a ton of blood and gore

      He'd made lots of dinero

Monarchy Martyr!!!
Hardest of bargaineers, and pioneers,
Chat feedback on how we don't care,
Lend me an ear, fear no savage,
These fake dramatical cats wearin their lives backwards,
Shhhh, crack a backwoods.
Tis' funny, the world just caving in,
The worst from within,
Manifest and sparks my quest,
I'm here to build a nation,
Map it out and destroy temptation,
Then renovate thought,
Sip on right now high stakin,
While some crooked eye cop
Playin the corner sooo hot,
You can smell the bacon,
Steady moves we're makin,
School principles for rapist,
Murdered by math teacher,
Dating my 8th grade friend
For free lunch and straight A papers,
Something for nothing, better be the bravest,
Blue jean, black tie, sharp eyed badged gunmen,
Colombine freak minds on my block,
41 shots and free Amadou me,
Forget the runnin!
My heart goes out to those who struggle,
Millenium men with power beyond muscle,
Feel my fury!
These corporate world threats,
Most late bloomies, came to do me in rudely
Yall should ride with me,
See why men die and strive for free,
Like a black man i'm proud to be raised in these means streets,
Like a Rob Dinero in heat
We chastize the wise for knowledge intelligently,
Sooo, captivated i hate it,
We're only half free, a different type man,
Sober off henny , drunk off reality,
Casually conquer catastrophy,
My main goals to grow old past chapter three,
Their after me !

Premium Member Rehashing History: Christopher Columbus, a Man With a Plan

Columbus was not the slightest bit offended
At King Ferdinand's dismissive sound
When he declared the world was round,
His was not a plan that very many comprehended.
Though the queen, Isabella, thought Chris a fine fella,
Her spouse wanted nor hair nor hide of it.
"The horizon", he snarled, "marks the edge of the world."
But Capt. C. was convinced that the horizon was not the edge of the world and that India was somewhere on the other side of it.

"Well, the subject is moot, Spain is broke, we've no loot.
Coffers practically bare, no dinero to spare,
Such a venture is out of the question.
Why not Egypt, or Malta, or Crete, or Gibraltar,
Or something cheaper that we can invest in?"
As Chris started to go, Isabella cried, "Whoa!
Let's dispense with pecunious tomfoolery.
Though we've no ready cash for a project so brash,
I could hock some, or all, of my joolery."

So three ships were anointed, and westward they pointed,
And the horizon they bravely set sail for it.
But the monarchs soon bailed when Chris' treasure search failed,
And to Spain he returned, but no honors he earned.
Instead, he was stripped of command and put in jail for it.
Later, of course, his accomplishment was plain,
And a whole New World was laid open for Spain.
No, Columbus wasn't looking for America when he "found" it,
He just couldn't seem to navigate three caravels around it.

On Self Hate

There is such a thing as self hate
Many Jews accuse each other of self hate
It is true - some Jews are filled with self loathing(including me at times)
But other people, too can hate themselves
Blacks, Latinos, Chinese and Scots
can all hate themselves
It is best NOT to hate your self
Although performers deal in this - and have made
mucho dinero out of it
I still say it is best
NOT TO HATE YOURSELF
Joy will come to you if you follow this advice

"I bet it bothers you that at my weakest,
I am still stronger than you."

Winded by narcissism,
this squall might rank - EF-0
Weakened by arrogance, it does no damage
compare it to the Spanish dinero.

Premium Member Y Nos Partimos Sin Nada

Venimos
Deambulamos

Comic Book Tripper

Got a friend who is a comic book tripper
He loves to read them and talk about them
I grew mostly with Marvel
Seems the movies are making a big splash
Some people regard comic books as a low form of entertainment
While others are willing to pay much dinero for early issues
The Human Torch - an icon
Superman - another icon
I had a colleciton which I sold for $200
Comic book trippers
Where do they go
Until the next issue
When the heroes story
is continued
Where do they travel to
Comic book readers
In Israel - Japan - and the USA
Unite and draw some figures
Comic book trippers
Where are they all coming from?

However, tariffs will make us pay mas dinero.
Yes, we will pay more for cerveza mexicana,
