A Delicate Balance
Breathless and beguiled
 Nature blankets my lone dreams
   Swallowing me whole

Always inside living thoughts
Once held a vision adoring thee
Beholding beams though these eyes
Star spangled one look totally breathless

This heart's calling your name precious
Together uniting strengths join within power
Making hopes and dreams come alive
Saying onto myself breathtakingly gorgeous

Premium Member Delicate Dreams

The bare branches are painted with a dusting of snow
Delicate dreams rest in the distance to be seen
The slightest breeze can blow them away
It's time to capture a photo with confidence
To hold a memory of what can be created
In the cold, no sun shining, ...

Delicate Flower
Delicate flower
So lovely, and so sweet
Ravaged by wind
And rain and summer heat

Joyful to view
With the sweetest scent
Why nature could bring
harm to you
Makes me wonder where God went

I cry inside
I'll never understand
How such delicate beauty
Could come to such evil harm
All I see is beauty
And innocent loving...

Premium Member Delicate Buttercup
Across the wide meadow of verdant green,
splashes of pastel pink waved in the breeze.
One of the lovliest wildflowers I've ever seen
appeared to ebb and flow like restless seas.

Delicate, the buttercup, its veins finger-traced.
This wildflower beauty with nectared center
stands patiently waiting with an upturned face,
welcoming pollen...

Premium Member Delicate Pink Clouds
Cathartic pinkness on wings of angel’s feet
Bring a lightness to the lake
She has never before felt.
Peppermint magic
Soft purple touches

Spiritual awakening
Heaven’s magic
Sky floods the lake with pureness
Godly feeling
Reverence and awe

Delicate pink clouds gather softly
Sharing love with forest
Saturating nature
Soft cathartic feeling
Showing God’s love for nature...

It will be the anniversary of my sisters death,
in a few days and I will turn back the pages of time.
The mirage comes back to my brain with all the pain,
her blood left a stain on the road until the rain;
it flowed down a drain-...

Delicate Flowers Withering Away
We are delicate flowers withering away,
blown far over the tree-tops,
to fall apart like falling stars...
and land in unfrequented places,
where no human ever lives;
only falling rain can give us that new life!

Planets and stars were made
for Humankind alone...to endure forever,
and our Earth is the jewel...

Delicate Dimensions
The Shepherd asked the poetess-
Who are you?
Twinkling her eyes, the poetess
said-who am I.

Am I a breath or a death;
breeze or a storm;
am I soothed or havocked?
I am blazed and ashed.

Am I a flower or a crackling leaf;
sand or a sea;
rock or a snow?
I am a...

Premium Member My Aminus Brain
I am of soft, delicate skinned casing,
Housing an iron, logical facing.

I grant my femininity free reign
To follow dictates of my manlike brain.

My seductive charms can attract a man,
But he may run far once I show my hand.

My quick, mental wit delivered deadpan
Cannot be handled by...

Premium Member Catching Butterflies
The black and orange dust
comes off on my fingers
revealing the fragile mesh
so easily crushed
therefore brave

I was troubled
the color was so loose
so removable to my hand
but even more at the
transparency beneath

Oh, don't go catching butterflies
until you are prepared to see
the underpinning delicate and clear
where there is...
