I arrive when life's first breath pays its toll
And stay after death till' visits are cold
I'm the deep well you draw from always full
You find me in dark and light never old
I've felt every pain that you've ever known
And spilled out of your eyes from laughter's smile
I've followed each footstep as you have grown
Traced down your face from a love's denial
I am here until your death when we part
Will appear in eyes of your deepest fears
I'm buried well in the soul of your heart
I'm the emotion creating your tears
We met at your birth, at death I will leave
I'll be the tears that fall with those who grieve

The old man sits in his chair by the door
His dog lies beside him curled up on the floor
Ever since that day when the man lost his wife
that dog had, to him, been the whole of his life
With his constant companion through all those long days
he'd sit in the sun enjoying its rays
It seemed like for hours the old man had dozed
A faint smile on his face and his eyes tightly closed
The dog licks his hand and emits a faint whine
and looks up at his face as if for a sign
but the man doesn't move, just continues to smile
so the dog lays back down on the floor for a while
The dog gets its ball, lays it down at his feet
but the man takes no notice, just stays still in his seat
He nudges the ball as if he were saying
"What's wrong with you, why aren't you playing"
Then, as if in acceptance, the dog quietly sighs
and looks up one last time with adoring eyes
The dog keeps his vigil through the night 'til next day
ever since, that sad morning, when the man passed away
Phantom of wisdom in stealth of night;
mysteries of darkness revealed by your sight.
Appearing much older than your earthly years;
an ageless soul with no death to fear.
Athena's companion, with knowledge to share.
Secrets of the gods and immortals you bear.
Kept hidden from light, the ancient truths;
powers of the universe and fountains of youth.
Silent and deep as winters hard snow,
divulging not, till we're deemed fit to know.
Her crow, the secret of omnipotence did tell.
Jealous gods swallowed Atlantis with ocean swells.
Tiring of him, wanting the perfect fowl,
she chose you, the wise old owl.

I’m in love with him,
He see’s right through me.
He loves me for who I am and not who he wants me to be,
Manic depression is family,
It doesn’t leave me alone,
But he’s always here for me,
His arms are home.
I wonder how long he’ll stay…
If there’s one thing I’d regret to do or say,
It would be me failing to tell and show him how much I love him every day,
Will he stay with me? Because I know at times I get real crazy.
For him I’d do almost anything, he’s my love; my baby.
His smile, his lips, his charm and his gorgeous face;
These things no other guy could ever replace,
Not his kiss not his touch and definitely not his embrace.
The way he plays in my hair,
And kisses every part of my face before kissing my lips,
To have a guy like him had always been my wish.
Now he kisses my body,
And licks every inch of me
His manhood pressed against my sex awakens my desires,
His chest now against my breast,
One hand stimulating my sex,
As he enters me the room is clouded with passion,
Moaning and panting like animals.
Unleashing the beast from his soul while I close my eyes and enjoy the ride,
My subconscious is dancing around with a delightful smile.
I have reached my peak and so has he,
Now he’s fast asleep and I’m taking out new sheets.
My Old Companion
Once you arched where children play,
Heard the laughter and slapping of tether balls;
Roads made of sand with little boy sounds
A long time ago.
You have been my friend, my loyal protector,
Though storms have gnarled your limbs.
Home to owls, blue jays and sparrows,
Your friends, my friends.
I’ve watched your siblings’ peeling bark,
And I believe I heard your cries,
As cracks appeared and chainsaws neared,
You had to say goodbyes.
As long as you will umbrella my head,
As long as you will whisper your truths,
Through seasons’ breezes and your lot in life,
I will love you.

Meet the friendly capybara
Rodent large without a care, a
Chill companion, friend to all, for
Clearing any gloomy pall
Sitting still or hanging out, with
Capybara social clout, a
Being present in the now, who
Effortlessly lives the Tao
Showing up and just to be, in
Any opportunity, a
Doing by no action seen, this
Caviidae is deftly keen
Always ready to relate, to
One who’s discombobulate, a
Silent empathy it shares, our
Wordless friend who capybares
For an instant, it had seemed imagination
Perhaps an illusion?
A movement so fleeting, a tease of the senses
Just by chance,...just one glance,
that triggers and pricks all the hairs down my spine
Grey shadows stalk me, as if from a cloud
The wilderness talking....not making a sound
Following, to play? Or looking for prey?....
Grey, as the doves, that scatter away
Cunning, and running, along the ridge up above
Then to look up, again, you vanish from eyes
Lost in the brush, just as a clouds hide the skies.
Then back in the noon light, in hide-and-seek flight
Eclipsed by the sagebrush, to keep out of sight
With steel-metal eyes, you track far behind me
from a distance, demanding, between us, resistance
Commanding my interest, in your curious wiles
No one can profess to have full understanding,
what secrets exist, ......of the spirit that binds us
Yet, we are all one, and as all creatures we dwell,
upon sacred land, upon ancient tales
You've followed me closely, with caution, a friend,
I feel a new spirit, that drifts in the wind

A time when women dressed as queens
And the queens used to ride like warriors
Men fought to live and lived to fight
And never went gently into that night.
To ride a *Marwari horse is to know the **Rajputs
To view a pair of perfectly curved ears
To see the twilight world of*** Rajasthan
To create frenzy of festivals a thousand and one.
To see Rajasthan, a gateway to the heart of
India’s spiritual and ceremonial heritage
.
Even in heaven horses are respected.
An old man and his horse came to a gate.
Man at the gate said, “Welcome to heaven
but animals are not allowed, Sorry!”
The old man ready to spend eternity outside.
as horse has been a faithful companion.
They came to a run down fence with no gate
A man invited, offering all the comforts of life
Smiling a big smile said, “Welcome to heaven”
The old man asked, "Is this heaven?"
The gate where you inquired is devil’s hell
He allows people ready to give up companion.
The old man asked, “Do you allow animals?”
Yes,”HE created animals to be men’s companions”.

** Rajputs race that fought for the country
*** One of the state of India
The wife plans a spree to buy all
With husband on board at the mall
But as this takes place
He just looks for a space
To sit on a bench in the hall
There is a callus on my finger,
it is where my talent lives.
Growing wiser with each stroke,
it feeds on tantalizing inscriptions
-
which I meticulously sculpt
-
as I transform my inner reflections
into leaden-inked realities.
You are my sunshine
You make my day ever bright
So sweet and gentle
When the days grow dark
When the nights are so lonely
So lovely you are
I love you so much
Endlessly I will love you
The days are now bright
She's like the essence of variety.
Her ability to inspire me
taste like passion when she says "Hi" to me.
She'll never lie to me.
Cause she's truth.
She's love like a harsh lesson
and more precious than a subtle blessing.
Constantly testing my sanity like a harsh whisper...
And unlike fear... her sister
I kissed her and never knew lonliness
cause this...
was not an option
after adoption of her promise
She's my companion and like my heart
we were made to be together
She is forever and to sever us... is death.
Like breath without her there's no me left.
Life... my wife... my existence
I'm so deeply in love with you
Pain... I insist this
By: Soul's Floetry
Three stars to the dream pierce
and I find you sitting there,
forlorn
absorbed
and lost in sickle thoughts
I rush to metal supermarkets
and bring you gifts of spirit,
paper roses
lead balloons
and melted ice in buckets
You laugh like rivers bubbling
over stones and odd appendages,
snapping,
pulling
yourself right out of silver dreams
I hold your hand in transit
from three stars to nowhere really
alone
with you
as we're half way now to sleep...
I want to write a single line, just one,
to hold within my memoir’s quiet space,
where sorrow and joy dissolve together,
becoming something weightless, something whole.
Perhaps it will be my final offering,
the only treasure I take with me.
A life steeped in unrelenting grief—
what else can I craft but a fleeting companion?
The words the world desires are not mine;
I write only for the silence within.
Each line pulled from beneath my skin,
yet they remain nothing but passing echoes.
I write to escape what lingers too long,
to stretch joy before it disappears,
to hush the chaos beneath my ribs,
to find comfort in letters and pauses.
This hollow refuge is all I own,
the journey, once hidden, is now my fate.
Perhaps I will never truly exist
until I write a poem that feels like life.
