Overcoming the Temptation To Commit Sin

be not a receptacle to that spirit of sin
live by the word of God and be open to Him

in this day where the lines of morality have become blurred
where people believe and do all and anything that's absurd
caught up in the grasp of drugs and chemical dependency
caught up in the muck and mire of sexual immorality
yet society tries to explain away any and all aberrant behavior
and a psychiatric evaluation has become acceptable and favored
we're now subjected to the blame of others and their bad actions
subjected to the world's desensitized and apathetic reaction
overcoming the temptation to commit sin
to yield not to that demonic presence again and again

if you don't understand and comprehend the word of God
how do you know if you have any sin in your heart?
you need to read the word of God and follow His commands
the instructions on how to live sinless, God's master plans
to wrestle with the evil that may at times reside within
to overcome that sensation to go out and commit sin
you need to be exposed to God's laws and learn right from wrong
you need to do a self reflection and then come away strong
for it's one thing to do what is sinful if you don't have a clue
but it's a different story when you knowingly sin for the blame is now on you
to be disobedient and stray from God's life living instructions
will lead you down that crooked path of spiritual destruction
so think before you act and then lay it before God
pray on that temptation to sin and possess a contrite heart

to challenge that temptation to commit sin
just dwell on the word of God and not the unholiness of men
yet we continue to try and justify some of the things we do and say
we need to be truthful in our hearts and willing to change our ways
no longer to be arrogant and sanctimonious in this life
to be more humble and repentant as a child of the Lord Christ
we pretend to act like it's not us but everyone else
we need to take a hard look in the mirrors at ourselves first
to come to understand that this battle is not ours alone
to realize we need the strength and the power of the heavenly throne
to be rescued from that temptation of sin that's always hanging around
to be lifted up by the word of God and placed on higher ground
to turn to our savior, the Lord Jesus the Christ
to thank Him and praise Him for the gift of eternal life

Premium Member How Do We Commit Sin

Sin is committed in thoughts
Words and actions
By the omission of the good that we are obliged to do
Can be committed in three ways
Ignorance
Weakness
Set of Purpose
Cimmitted in weakness is more grave than ignorance
Set of Purpose is more grave than weakness

Commit a Crime Your Mine

stay cool not a fool
kept this in mine
i watch you all the time
COMMIT A CRIME
YOUR MINE

To Commit To the Actual

unidentified never to be found
mysterious trace evidence
unsourced so not a soul will see
to view a preferably maintained crime
is harder than it seems
hired gun dressed up
in workers dress
seems to all ways
to look the best
take your time
no one will see
your real job
is to quietly end me...
cardboard dust that sticks to walls
makes the best carcinoma pneumonia
for all
so many particular tricks and so little time to share them all
no neutrality, makes for a bad Nation
for some but not all

Believe and Commit

Believe in the power of prayer,
it can work miracles beyond belief.
Commit yourself to the Lord, trust in His ways, believe me,
it brought to the table complete and total relief.

Walk with honesty and truth
and good things you shall receive.
Show respect, have patience, join in commitment and give love,
the reward might be a little hard to believe.

Be patient with the Lord,
He will deliver when He knows your ready.
Grab a hold of the reins called life,
standing tall, strong and steady.

Faith is confidence
and it can conquer anything you set your mind to.
Watching and waiting to see God's power
and the amazing things He can do.

Through the church doors, walks in a troubled crying girl,
with pastor in hand and together they prayed while they kneeled.
The greatest gift of being broken,
is the reward of being able to be healed.

God will surely take notice to everything,
but, our Lord has no dark side.
On the other hand, we do and we make our mistakes,
But, without judgement He forgives, so we don't have to hide.

There is nothing that Satan can dish out,
that the Lord above can't trump!
Refrain from disobedience, walk with humility,
let the Lord handle sending the trash to the dump!

We have reached the end and endings are always hard,
that is because they don't come natural for us.
Always remember our loved ones are with our God,
living in happiness, in peace and in complete and total trust.

Premium Member The Crime We All Commit

The fish swim in a clear, spring lake.
The bait is murder, poverty, war and insincerity.
Here come the neswspeople, your serenity to take.
Thus, we, the fish eat the bait and think that all the
world is pure insincerity?

News-ghouls, are our new gods that we so adore.
But it’s a cash cow for the press, don’t you see?
Negativity is our weakness, our sily love de jour.!
But it’s a cash cow for the press, TV, and we pass
it on to friends, do you see?
These omens of evil crawl over social media, fake
news channels, and more.

The solution is quiite simple, from them get a divorce!
Fill each daty, with love, smiles and tons of laughter
Play music, dance, and of your own life becone the source.
Laughter so loud, it literally rings from the cedar rafters!!

Commit To the Grind

When you work hard, I know that you’ll find,
That so long as you really don’t mind,
Holding your feet to the grind,
Your efforts will reflect back to you.

A few years ago, I needed to lose weight,
Because my health really wasn’t great,
And when I looked in the mirror, I would hate
What was reflected back to me.

I came to realize it was all up to me,
And that’s the only way it could be,
If I ever seriously wanted to see
My true self reflecting back at me.

So I decided to get off my idle butt,
And find a way to dig out of my rut,
I wanted to do something about my gut,
So my body would reflect my life.

I started to walk, then to run,
Which in the beginning wasn’t fun,
Especially in the hot summer sun,
And my results started to reflect my hard work.

I remember as I was running one day,
I looked at the ground along the way,
And I thought to myself; there’s no way,
That’s my skinny shadow reflecting back to me.

Now, as I look back at what I’ve done,
And the hard-earned victories I have won,
My real effort has only just begun
To reflect what I truly stand for.

And I want to say it would be truly great,
If I could use my experiences to motivate
People who need help and get them to a state
That reflects who they want to be.

So if you’re looking for an encouraging sign,
That everything is going to be fine,
And if you’re willing to commit to the grind,
Maybe my message reflects what you need to do.

Commit

My heart beats to the sound of your name
but when you're gone I wonder if it can beat again
Words mean nothing without proof there's intention as the basis
We're running in the same direction but in two different races
My heart's all in, my mind's all out of sorts waiting for you
Unfortunately my wish for us isnt' going to come true
You can't commit to staying here, you can't commit love to show
And at the end of the day, I'm the same way, I can't commit to letting go

Commit To That Ending

If I asked of how this will end
What would your answer be
Would this story end happy
With you together with me

Would the stars and the moon
Take us both in their grasp
Fly we high in the sky
Left somewhere else in time

Is the world we live in aligned
Along with the next as it should be
Are the planets taking a breath
Together on them to run free

Or are we fighting laws of age
Of memory, of time, all that should be
Reversing with anger hands, clock, face
In turn breaking the piece that speeds us

Somewhere out there the truth
It is written, it is waiting, it is free
All it asks is for you with me to read
Words given in forgotten of all we be

Again then I ask how will this end
Understand you cannot answer for me
So, commit to that ending
In time we will only wait and see

Premium Member A 24-Hour a Day Commit

There's a lot of people that just don't get it
Feel they're owed a living, other factors they omit
They fail to see
What life really means
It's a twenty-four-hour full-time commit

Commit Her To the Asylum

Thoughts that consume my mind
Like self suicide
A death sentence of endless paranoia
Its karma, your turn on the other side

I ran away
I’m an Olympian at chasing better things
I look for lightning
But can’t handle the thunder

My reserves are in quarantine
My bones poking through skin
I’m just sharp edges
Fractured hopes and blurred happiness

Tear mixed cocktails
I down a sorrow or many
Numb the exposed wounds
Blood dries softly on my skin

I’m a shield of wounded treachery and triumph
This warrior has eaten her kin
Savage of trying to save broken souls
Trying to gather pieces to make her half whole

It’s a funeral of her past self
But the cancer has come
Attacking the woman she hopes to be
Because she’s sickly sweet, only way she can be

Her plot is a bed of lilies
It’s a blanket of perfumed dead dreams
Waiting for her corpse of anguish
And her soul of knitted single strand successes

Wrap her tendons in ribbons
The red ones that shadow the recent stabs
She's mostly a wax figure
Of her seldom accomplishments

What Must I Do To Be Saved

What Must I Do To Be Saved?
By Charles Gerald Patrick Chard 2nd

First You must realize who you are,
A sinner full of Life's scars,
You must feel sorry for what you have done,
Realize Jesus as the Holy One,

Then say this prayer from your heart,
Jesus I am a sinner right from the start,
Forgive me Jesus I call on you,
Forgive me Jesus for You are true,

I commit to You all my ways,
I will try my LORD never to stray,
Help me O LORD to follow You daily,
I believe you died and rose again most sincerely,

I Believe You lived a most Holy Life,
Of Happiness, Sorrow, Pain, and strife
I believe in GOD my Father above,
And the Holy Spirit who fills me with Love,

I commit to You all that I am,
You Jesus, are GOD's Lamb,
Jesus my Savior, My LORD, My all,
Please pick me up whenever I fall,

Now dear brethren you are born again,
Now you are free from all your sin,
Now you aew the children of GOD,
Now walk by faith daily while walking on this earthy sod.
