Commit Her To the Asylum
Thoughts that consume my mind Like self suicide A death sentence of endless paranoia Its karma, your turn on the other side I ran away I’m an Olympian at chasing better things I look for lightning But can’t handle the thunder My reserves are in quarantine My bones poking through skin I’m just sharp edges Fractured hopes and blurred happiness Tear mixed cocktails I down a sorrow or many Numb the exposed wounds Blood dries softly on my skin I’m a shield of wounded treachery and triumph This warrior has eaten her kin Savage of trying to save broken souls Trying to gather pieces to make her half whole It’s a funeral of her past self But the cancer has come Attacking the woman she hopes to be Because she’s sickly sweet, only way she can be Her plot is a bed of lilies It’s a blanket of perfumed dead dreams Waiting for her corpse of anguish And her soul of knitted single strand successes Wrap her tendons in ribbons The red ones that shadow the recent stabs She's mostly a wax figure Of her seldom accomplishments
