Best Chauvinist Poems
have you ever heard the devil whisper in your ear?
the acrimonious voice instilling guilt and fear
a satanic chauvinist who cherry picks your thoughts
as you abdicate morality for something you should not
have you ever felt a choke while you were asleep?
fighting unseen forces that often made you weak
have you ever tried to kill yourself and shove a knife in the belly of your gut?
have you ever heard the murmuring of the crowd whispering "youre nuts"?
have you ever watched the news and seen death and destruction?
realizing human sacrifices still exists relating child abductions
the devil plays his part in the abattoir of the human mind
but within this construct of our reality his powers are undefined
his deception and his manipulative motive is to abscond from the truth
but to clarify his powers is to expose him using proof
he has thwarted love in many ways and conquered the weakest soul
he has recruited wicked men to join his bilious abode
have you ever walked the potters field and felt the presence of those who relinquished the light?
have you ever heard the breath of disembodied spirits feasting in the night?
have you ever seen a ghostly figure like your eyes was glazed with smoke?
have you ever swallowed pride and felt like you would choke?
have you ever wondered why people pull the trigger and slice their loved ones throats?
its the sacrifice to the devil insted of sacrifices goats!
have you ever blamed a creator for the mistakes that you made?
and turned your back on him for every losing game you played
knowing the devil is complicated to understand
because no one knows what its like to be a bad man
Nonbeliever
by Michael R. Burch writing as Kim Cherub
She smiled a thin-lipped smile
(What do men know of love?)
then rolled her eyes toward heaven
(Or that Chauvinist above?).
Each child has talents and Dee always loved to skate
One night at the lake she was called up to the plate
The high school hockey team was “slip-sliding away”*
So call her a chauvinist; Dee wanted to play
But when the coach recruited her for the team
One boy offered a bottle of shaving cream
They couldn’t skate backward; Dee sure showed them how
Stealing their puck, she curtsied, and took a bow
Take it from Dee, men don’t like to be upstaged
By her free-flowing glide the boys were outraged
When it came time for the school’s holiday dance
To find a date, this skater hadn’t a chance
Who can find a virtuous woman?
She is worth far more than rubies.
She is not a possession but a partner.
She is a fantastic conversation starter.
My wife found out that her brother drowned and that she was pregnant with our first child on the same day.
My wife had a husband lose his mind and her father shoot himself in the same 3 months.
Who can find a virtuous woman?
My wife rarely complains, walks clothed in love, and has a sexy smile like Sophia Lauren.
My wife giggles and laughs at stupid jokes out of sheer hilarious kindness.
Who can find a virtuous woman?
Women turn to my wife for advice and direction.
Men turn to my wife for encouragement and affirmation.
She is not a possession but a partner.
She is a fantastic conversation starter.
With her I will grow old.
With her I will travel back to the innocence of my childhood.
Loving her has not been easy as obstacles have come against us from day one,
But when I think to faint or run I dream of her soul and find strength.
Who can find a virtuous woman?
Her children arise and call her blessed;
Her husband also, and he praises her.
My wife’s love for our children manifests in busy days and restful nights,
And through her love my children never doubt the presence and reality of God’s affection.
My wife sees the best in me when others can only see frivolity and failure.
My wife beats back adversity with a conscientious smile and perspicacious laughter.
My wife knows God but does not flaunt her holiness as if it is on display for the world,
And my wife’s motivations are purer than the running water of mountain tops.
I seek not to exalt her to a place of codependence where all of her humanity is crushed beneath the pain of my subjective worship.
No, my wife is no God and she is constantly forgetting to lock her car,
But when I think of King Lemuel and his question for the ages,
When I think of King Lemuel and his somewhat chauvinist question,
Who can find a virtuous woman?
My response is always the same, I can!
Sometimes people hate me because I'm cool.
My coolness makes them look bad.
The haters will go to extreme lengths to throw salt on my coolness.
But coolness is here to stay.
I'm a cool nerd, a cool geek, a cool techie,
A cool rapper, a cool father, a cool friend,
A cool husband, a cool son, a cool brother,
And a cool, educated, man.
I am educated, I am ignorant, I am a nerd,
Am a geek, I am a techie, I am a rapper,
I am a honest person, I am a liar, I am a father,
I am a son, I am a husband, I am a leader.
I am a follower, I am a lover, I am a hater,
I am a feminist, I am a chauvinist,
I am a man born from a woman,
I'm a man forged by men.
I am happy, I am sad, I am real, I am fake (sometimes),
I am young, I am old, I am fast, I am slow,
I am funny, I am boring, I am rich, I am poor, I am a friend,
I am some one's enemy, I am a jack of all trades.
I am a master of one trade,
I am good, I am bad,
I am insightful, I am bleak,
I am life.
Layli Long Soldier speaks ...
Legalese: with lots of "Whereas"
Her Lakota people make other news in praying -
She really believes in prayer as resistance
Yes, "Indians" are so very different
But I have not read, ever, they fought over sacred cities
Or went to war over a sacred mountain, or river, or fish ...
Their Great Father gave them that unity, not political
Poetess Long Soldier discovered a 2009 US Apology
Hidden quietly in a Defense Appropriations Bill
"Leave the plant to stay alive," but take leaves
Of the Red Willow: a living-giving-Resource God
Like water; Long Soldier talks much of her one child
A daughter. Legalized sorrow under President Obama
Whose Healthcare Bill medicates and sustains those who hate him
For being a successful black man, who took the presidency from
Some outstanding human called a Caucasian Male, by election
When real history tells us, Obama defeated a woman candidate
Hilary Clinton, by the same game we celebrate in others
This Obama hid the apology to Native Americans
Her own dad did write Layli an apology; an absentee father
But she knew how healing begins with heart-istic apology
We have learned to be legal experts in social relations:
Even when teachers work with kids, or at university
But all of us love taking advantage of those we can subdue -
In America many assume the worst of someone with an accent:
Potential child abuser, rapist, thief, male chauvinist
And of course for the male: potential terrorist
After all, Why apologize for defending "my" land, country home?
Layli Long Soldier's people did not judge "White strangers"
Lakota means "Friend," but we would never guess that
Whereas in the past, "Savage" and "*****" were our descriptors
Anyway in 2010, this apology America gave Native Americans
Became an Act (Look it up!). Or was it an "act" before 2010?
(c) Anil Deo, still believes in Shalom, for SHALOM is more than mere "peace"
Half flesh, half steel, sinews and twined wire,
Begotten in the heat of half-love, tempered
By hatred and the axe, fathered by one
Who killed her mother, the male chauvinist boar
Whose eye-teeth, razor-sharp, saw through the spine,
Joy-sword in sheath. Wrought iron, blood vessels,
Bone and cable, one part conceived, the other forged
On the hard anvil where gusts of blood are seed
Of all the axeman most does fear – cast iron woman
With stanchions for a trunk, iron breastplate,
A malleable black heart, a metallic chastity belt
No man may boast of stealing and still live,
Who beats men at their own battle games,
A dab hand with the axe herself, as salty tears
And globules of mercury exude from grey glands
Take it away
Right now—see here…look here
Run into the light where one shadow casts an intent, lowly eye
Into the very heart of the storm, the words fall with might
You see a word and take sail as doubt and understanding foretell
A heartfelt message meant to destroy all that behold
Look here!
Crush the thoughts that bind you
The past that releases shards….murders of ravens
Pecking infidelity into your weakened visions
Forcing you to turn the other way and not listen
NOT listen
To the sounds of vibrant declaration driven from the blood of the lost
To the taste of defeat lathered in pride for the slowly dying sun
To the pinch of the skin upon the tethered limbs
Squeezing the wrists holding the ink
Releasing…releasing
The very blood that drives it!
That mind—how burdensome to the mass!
Crawling about for purpose
Searching—the best for last!
Firing squad!
Gone—
Sniveling snobs of insipient tact—obsessed with some artillery pact
Marveling at what sophisticated solidity can do to drive down a life
Move a herd of scared animals across a wasteland desired
Bile like the water source held back for the more important
Sniveling sad, chauvinist snouts tracing the secular age of rot
Eating everything they got
Wishing for what the sad ones hold on to
The only thing that keeps that eye dry
Take it away and words go awry
In chaotic monotony
Barging in matrimony
Forcing the impaired to repair
Kindling a fire already put out by your thoughtless glare
Curse this burdensome mind of the masses!
Curse the unpainted lines that omit from my very lips!
As I read every scourging fire bolt out
All one sees is the words protruding out
From a heart so bitter by bitter alone
Trusting in the meter, the rhyme, the tone!
I left the earth too far to return!
Fresh! Lowly, but fresh!
Immanent in high regard TO THE OPPRESSED
Take it away
Right now—see here…look here
Run into the light where one shadow casts an intent, lowly eye
Into the very heart of the storm, the words fall with might
A burdened firing squad faced a mirror
And shot blindly
Through fear
Passing of an Icon
An accomplished Lady of recondite letters
Writing humanity to free from its fetters-
From your clever Prose being deciphered,
With skewed minds, is where you differed.
And where, with prejudice, our minds think
Fellow Human beings can foul or sting
Indeed, there the Grass can loudly Sing!
Your discerning Eye and your sharp Wit
Endowed your firm hand with incisive writ-
Doris Lessing, rendezvous of every culture,
You ardently celebrated the pen’s rupture
With that broad mind and feminine looks
Reminiscent of the Golden Notebooks(s);
Thrall from callous confines of Cookbooks!
Doris the Amazon, you were sadly dismissed
Yet, in our hearts you’ll be happily missed;
The Vim, the Spirit, and your Idiosyncrasy
Will be cherished as our invaluable legacy:
Of a male Chauvinist or me a cold raptor,
From time immemorial, being a cruel captor,
To bow stepping forward to accept the Sceptre!
**Dedicated to the Great Writer; Doris Lessing, upon her passing on at her home on 17/11/2013.

The right to freedom
Casts but a shadow of doubt
For the luckiest
Can not see it or hear it
And there appears, chauvinist
He's Just A Man!
He's just a man
living in 2018
being accused of sexual allegations by too many women!
He's just a man
living in 2018
trying to survive it in a world of women accusing him and so many other men with sexual allegations!
He's just a man
living in 2018
always on his guard and being
forced to always prove his innonence everywhere he goes!
He's just a man
living in 2018
trying to survive in this world of too many women crying rape as if it is the new old crying wolf saying!
He's just a man
living in 2018
being found guilty in the courts whether he is guilty or innocent
and being sentenced to any amount of years to life in prison!
He's just a man
living in 2018
being forced to accept third and fourth generation feminism and women empowerment, and women being better than men, being forced onto him and other fellow men as well!
He's just a man
living in 2018
always wondering and asking where has all the masculinity gone to?
He's just a man
living in 2018
wondering and pondering
why women of today are redoing old movies which originally had male dominant roles, and replacing them with female dominant roles?
He's just a man
living in 2018
wishing he had recorded
every second
every minute
every hour
every week
every month
every year
of his life
in order to have actual video footage evidence proving his innocence from power-hungry and gold-digging women as well!
He's just a man
living in 2018
always wondering and pondering
what the hell has happened to today's society and generations!
He's just a man
living in 2018
being blamed for being a chauvinist because he believes in being a macho man and hanging out with other men and wants to bring back the old times which he fantasizes about being in again!
In Backwards Land where ladies worship me,
And never cut my brilliant speeches short;
Where women celebrate adultery,
And feel the same as I; they’re merely sport;
Where broads don’t care how many kids I’ve got,
And care far less how many mothers by;
Where chicks acknowledge make-up makes ‘em hot,
And no mascara runs if bunnies die;
There, because then I’d be a perfect man,
Freed bulky baggage through which snoopers dig,
I’d rarely have to fear the frying pan
Greased up ‘n aimed at this chauvinist pig.
Ah, but a pipe-dream. How am I single?
Nevermind, dollies. Who wants to mingle?

Thank you for making our bed,

I am a christian who also loves baseball and apple pie. I have serious doubts about politicians who promise to never lie.
I am neither a male chauvinist pig, nor am I a card carrying antagonist. I can be pessimistic about some things, but basically, I am a true optimist.
I am certain that my complaints about men far exceed that of women. I am not weary but simply tired of all the divisiveness being thrown around.
It's not that we Americans only recently discovered our differences, or became fixated on our complexities; but it seems we are more willing to rant and
rave about anything or anyone whose persuasion is different from our own. America please! Breathe in, breathe out! Let's first find out what it's all about.
Let's pray; take a walk; smell a rose; and take a 7th inning stretch! The earth is still round; blessings yet abound; and the sun still shines on all of us.
So why can't we love one another? Out of love, God made us all from the dust. The life boats are few; The Titanic is leaking heavily and going down rapidly.
Some may consider it pessimistic to speak of the sinking of a ship. The wise think otherwise, and realize that only God can save our ship.
