Best Brokenhearted Poems
It's never anything big, just a nagging defeat
Of wanting to be exclusive in your ambit,
For in your eyes, I see an opportune disguise
Living as a friend of genuine vibes gone awry.
It was the zealous-moon you adored with glee
When romantic vibes you scripted about me,
Fussing about moon-spot of slight imperfection
Looking at my face, hinting coy comparison.
When I lauded our pond's white lotus flowers
You admired silence of the ripples in water
Singing praises of existence so ephemeral,
Never denying you compared it to our love.
Being impulsive, you stole a rose from garden
Handing it to me like borrowed ardent charm.
As I held it in gratitude for its delicate beauty
It pierced my heart with its anguished thorns.
You take me places, pleasantly well-meaning
But when I get there, I'm left feeling alone
For you traverse a lone-orbit on your own
Leaving me to tangle by your rotational force.
When you ask me, if love still burns our flame,
I simply want to say, love has changed its name
For time has falsified what we once meant,
No more can I bear brokenhearted sunsets.

Some say Love is everything
Some say love is nothing
Of course, if one has never been loved,
never felt such warmth from another;
absent the caring nearness of a dear
mother, father, sister or pal-of-a-brother
not been taught by nurturing family
but, in fact – of love deprived
then, before lived,
to one's buried heart
love has already died…
It is not, necessarily, that one’s heart
has never sincerely desired though not tried,
but the painting of his world
his experience has so lied
any chance for developing
empathetic features --
his nature has been cruelly
deprived –
therefore,
before the feathering brushwork of him,
his portrait of love
has already cracked, peeled,
unrecognizable~ dried….
Sometimes things lost
are never found: that sand-castle
on beach, adult, sunny, encouraging
faces, painted by the sun
like a silly made-up clown --
Somethings lost, are never found
Some couples meant to be
are never joyfully bound
by faith in cherished sacrament
of marriage...Cupid and his trusty
bow left sadly to disparage.
God has His
Heaven, and the Devil
our misguided low-some hell
before learning to soar~ man fell
the joy of loving stopped
before started – and the Spirit of
Love, yet brokenhearted….
The crescent moon has hid from me its glow
And stars have lost their twinkle in the sky
My broken heart floats in this celestial throe
As the goddess Venus flickers with a sigh
The heavens tell me love is lost
As I orbit a galaxy of broken hearts
The price of love comes with a heavy cost
For when it's lost I fall apart
A distant galaxy where love can find a chance
Beckons to me in this ethereal night
It pulls me in with a gravity of romance
And leads me closer to love's light
But as the crescent moon comes into view
It reminds me how much I miss you

When brokenhearted sunsets soak the sky,
she thinks of him and how she did not know
those blissful kisses were his last goodbye
as they embraced in summer’s twilight glow.
She understands some days just end that way -
when brokenhearted sunsets soak the sky -
but wonders why he didn’t even say
a single word! She’s left with just the WHY.
Why give no warning, leaving her to cry
for ages since the time the sky bled red?
When brokenhearted sunsets soak the sky,
she well remembers wishing she were dead.
From time to time, she still feels so bereft,
and even when she meets a decent guy,
it haunts her still the way her first love left -
when brokenhearted sunsets soak the sky.

The veins of brokenhearted sunsets,
blue cuts that scratch the glacial eye.
Raw with mercurial redness of debts,
locked down with crocodile jaws that die.
Breathless air in cataract twilight,
undeserved beauty of heartbroken despair.
If this curtain falls, will be but morning’s slight.
Surely the skies will fail to repair.
For without your transcendent eyes,
a certain color of turquoise ceases to exist,
the ruddy splash of the universe bids goodbye,
and only one pillow holds my fist.

God Help The Brokenhearted
Christmas day has come again
my heart and mind are torn.
For the world we're living in
and the King of Kings once born.
So much of life a mystery
of things still yet to be.
With faith and hope just like the wind
in things we cannot see.
Looking back to yesterdays
and when it all got started.
God bless the children in the world.
God help the brokenhearted.
The moon and stars they shine so bright
so far up in the skies.
Still they go unseen sometimes
for teardrops in our eyes.
For missing those gone on before
our love for them so true.
Their leaving left us grieving
and they now reside with you.
Hurting still we always will
ever since the day they parted.
Shine a light for us today
God help the brokenhearted

You asked me to leave,
that you no longer want
me.
That you've given up
on us, and I can't see
you anymore !!
That what we had was
wrong, built on nothing
but lies...
That deep down inside,
I wasn't meant for you.
You treated me like a fool.
You used me for your gain,
and at the end you threw it
all away.
Ooh my God !!
I couldn't believe
you could hurt me
so much.
I couldn't sleep,
I couldn't eat.
I even had thoughts
of suicide, trying to
find me a way to get
over you...
But sometimes love
can be so cruel.
You give someone all
your love, and all you
want in return is to be
loved the same way...
But sometimes things
don't turn out that way,
and you find yourself
lost and alone with a
broken heart...
Trying to erase a love
that never was.

I do perceive
All the great words I receive
But how could I be so far
and yet so near,
to what I believe is fear.
Words can be like a chandelier,
falling from the ceiling.
Crushing every bone in your body,
until your heart starts bleeding.
Nothing feels like it makes sense,
its like I'm falling into a sharp fence
until the blood is drenched from my body
until the earth devours me like I'm shoddy.
This hurt.
This brokenhearted feeling.
This pain.
I feel so ashamed.
Why does bad things happen to me?
Why cant anyone see?
That deep down I'm broken,
But still people play me like I'm a token.
Trust,Hope and love I keep a s a treasure.
But still I'm being measured.
I cant help this feeling.
Nor my heart that's bleeding.
This hurt this pain.
Will it ever go away.
When does an outcome thoroughly blossom
through snow falls and brokenhearted sunsets?
Life provides inspiration of awesome
born adventures to sing with no regrets.
Hope, faith, love nonstop of acknowledgement
great seductive beauty and temptation;
recall religious impoverishment
always fearing committed relation.
God step back , applaud His created world,
an endless space unfurl a breathtaking
beauty nature's hands as energy whorled.
No fractured mirrored surface myth-making.
In the brightest bright of the heaven stars;
brokenhearted sunsets are waning scars.

She left me brokenhearted
When we parted
She loves no more
She left me lone and crying
Heart is dying
I feel so sore
She left my soul in pieces
Now time ceases
I barely live
She left me sad and broken
Words unspoken
Won't she forgive?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
He left me brokenhearted
He departed
Can't live with me
He left me in deep anguish
Now I languish
We couldn't agree
He left me shattered and hurt
I didn't assert
My love for him
He left me bare, my soul cries
Tearful my eyes
As chances dim
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We left each other too soon
Our passions croon
It's not too late
We give it another chance
Now our hearts dance
True love's our fate

All I feel is pain
Haunted by past memories,
Leaves me all depressed.
Death has released your soul upon this sad eve,
and there is nothing that I can do but grieve.
As a dying sun sets.
A trickle of tears has morphed into a flood,
and my heart shrivels, as though drained of its blood.
As painful as it gets.
And the fabric of my life starts to unweave,
confronting a truth I don't want to believe.
As chills turn into sweats.
I have not come to grips with the pain I feel,
clinging to the belief your death isn't real.
Life has no safety nets.
Slipping into dreams that you frequently haunt,
I can cuddle with you as long as I want.
My dreams hold no regrets.
Without you, a scarlet sunset seems mundane,
Nature's spectacle has been reduced to plain.
Brokenhearted sunsets.
My heart was stolen by your bright, clear eyes
Sleek fur, silky smooth, soft under my hand
when you were killed I was so traumatized
Had you only obeyed my last command?
Was a perfect day in garden enjoyed
Watering the lawn you scampered around
High summer sun a memory so spoiled
By end of the day you were underground.
Ocean was calling a trip to the beach
Summer waves rippled in delightful way
Fevered excitement then I lost all speech
My order ignored on that fatal day.
If only dear Lottie you had obeyed
These painful memories never assuaged.
