Premium Member The Train Ride To Heaven

Many Soupers are getting older,                                       the train ride to heaven has started rolling.
Many creative~wonderful~magical writers we do have,     too many names now on the list.
The train is getting fuller,                                                 with a new passenger that was just added.                       L. Milton Hankins now riding in the red caboose,               he is bringing up the rear drinking juice.
One day each will take the train ride,                               then we will all meet in heaven.                                       No more pain or suffering,                                              a day to unite and say hooray.                                         We may be called to read what we write,                         smile~laugh then tell Soup goodnight.

Winter,Summer, Spring, and Fall

First of all I am going to tell you a story about the four seasons,
winter summer spring and fall,

Its a story not to forget at all and it is easy to remember that
Fall is a season that likes it cool, the nice wind blowing as all the leaves make sounds as they hit the ground,

And Winter it's a season of snow with the frosty nicknames that everyone knows.

And Summer is the hotest season of all, bringing up the heat so much you wish it was still fall.

Now spring is the prettyest season I have seen, where everything is blooming and growing green. Its a season where all the birds start singing cause of the joy they have had with winter, summer, spring, and fall....

No One Really Cares Part2

NO ONE REALLY CARES

Part 2

With a scheme from a team of human traitors who are unclean,
Straight up extreme and using it in a deceitful way,
Holding KNOWLEDGE of natural law, but manipulated bringing us decay,
May we all someday, see the lies and tainted blatant statements,
If I spoke this way in person, you would probably say to drop it,
So listen closely and see these are natural law compliments,
Right now as you read, Yes this very moment,
You have to agree, you have no spiritual mindful acknowledgement,
To any of my poetically written comments,
This message has been sent and must be put into action but don't rush,
Even this modern day scribe, alive and learning who to trust,
Most of us hide, side with the blind, ignorantly trusting our governments,
Raise the alarm!! Dam it's for real, we don’t even get the hint,
We are inattentive, lack being inventive, so we sit back and don't get this,
Ignorantly we rely on our current structured system,
So its not surprising we collectively invest our minds into everything,
We aren’t seeing, therefore we open the door to negative action,
Because the reality we are living is a huge distraction,
Our interactions of actuality doesn’t impact us enough,
To even contemplate bringing up spiritual investigations which is a must,
We lack legit validity and the understanding of true love,
But some of us have a chance, a little advanced with minds that rush,
Who gather up enough information to start questioning,
Asking "who in the hell, do we really trust"?
Knowledge into action with a robust mind removing the rust,
Starting to see my way forward I wipe off the dust,
With a small thought of disgust, I laugh in joy,
Enjoying what I’m seeing while inner cleaning with no fuss,
So we must trust in ourselves, ask for help from inside,
We are blind but in time we may get a small glimpse,
When we rinse our minds, we gain insight that’s simple,
Your physical body is the temple,
You planted a seed and what's being revealed is the whole apple,
The allegorical story of Adam and eve is factual,
So listen up and go learn about the Natural Law Principles.

B5-God's Word For Everyone

In Romans 5 it says God loved us and He sent His only Son to die on the cross for us. In fact the bible even tells us something stronger here. In verse 10, “When we were enemies of God”, when we were separated from God. Doing things that were disobedient to God. God extended His love towards us. That’s what we call unconditional love. We need to practice in our life this kind of love in our life. That’s a tremendous life principle we need. For most of the time when you hear parents bringing up children or a loved one talking, you could hear that their love is conditional. A parent will tell the children if you do good then I will love you. That’s not God’s love. We do not want them to do bad but they must know that if they did badly we don’t approve of the evil that they do. But we still love them. That would have been totally different. So God’s love is unconditional. There is nothing that you could earn that love because He does not ask for any condition. He loves us because of who He is. The bible declares that God is love. His love comes from the depths of His very being. It is dependant upon His nature and not upon the one receiving. Human love is dependant upon the one receiving. If we were able to renew our mind and let our love grow to the level of God’s love, we would be able to far more things than we have been able to do because of His nature, because of His being that love that He has inside wants to be expressed. You could give without loving but you cannot love without giving.

One of the Guys

Here he comes, bringing up the rear
So proud to be one of the guys
Blowing me kisses drenched in beer
As he wolfs down several pies

One tortured attempt at a promising leer
Whilst he fumbles with his flies
He’s no idea that I’m sat here
Planning my goodbyes!

You Don'T Have To Live Like You Did Before

You don’t have to live…
 Like you did before!
I can give you my love…
 And so much more!

You don’t have to keep on
 “bringing up the past…”
I will give you a peace and joy
 that will forever last!”

The chains you once had…
No longer have to hold you down.
I will pick you up and plant you
 on solid ground!

You don’t have to live the way
 that you once lived…
An abundance of forgiveness and mercy
 is what I freely give!

You no longer have to live a life
 that is filled with fear…
I will always be your best friend.
 I am always here!

You can come to me for a love
that is worth finding…
My promises are forever.
You need no reminding!

You can be a new creation.
 Old things passed away.
I am that I am. And I can change
 your life TODAY!

I am Jesus. Your provider.
 The all-sufficient one.
My arms are wide open for you…
 Won’t you come???

Unloosening the Chain of Anger

Have you ever done something bad,
That really hurt someone you love,
Or has someone ever done something bad,
That really hurt you,
And no matter how much you or they apologize,
The pain just doesn’t seem to go anywhere?
Do you find yourself holding on,
To a pain that in your heart, is inexcusable?
And even though the offender has promised,
To make things better and prove their worth,
You know deep down,
You’re not over the pain that was caused?
Think of it this way.
If you are still holding onto anger, bitterness, resentment,
Any kind of negativity….
You’re NOT showing that you want to heal,
You’re showing that the person who did harm unto you….
Has CONTROL over your emotions….
You’re showing that you would rather live in the past,
Than in the present….
You’re showing that by holding onto anger and hatred….
You are hurting someone, and it’s NOT the offender….
It’s YOURSELF!
And every time you have a talk,
Bringing up the pain that has settled in your heart,
You’re not hurting anyone but yourself.
The longer you walk around with it in your heart,
The more you’re hurting yourself.
The more you speak of the anger, the bitterness, the resentment….
The more you’re hurting yourself.
Ask yourself this….
What if GOD held anger in His heart,
For the things we have done wrong?
What if He spoke about how angry He is?
What if He spoke about how even though He forgave us….
He would STILL throw our wrongdoings in our faces daily?
What we, as children of God, have to remember….
Is that He takes ALL, not some, ALL of our iniquities,
All of our wrongdoings, all of our mistakes, ALL of our dirty deeds,
Places them under His holy foot, and casts them into the sea of forgetfulness!
It’s in His word, that He WILL forgive us our trespasses….
So, if God can take our wrongdoings, forgive us, and toss them away,
WHY CAN’T WE DO THE SAME?
We can’t call ourselves loving the Lord, but hold onto anger.
You can’t be an angry Christian.
You can’t be holy, and be filled with hatred.
If God can forgive us, and not throw what we’ve done in our faces,
Then we should be able to do the same for one another….

“He will turn again, He will have compassion upon us; He will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.” (Micah 7: 19)

Remember Me?

I was the one who was sat on the wall
I was so little the others were tall
The school was next door so I didn’t go far
Never needed to go to school by car

I played in the playground with some of my fiends
Long summer days that never seemed to end
That’s a long time ago, can you recall?
The bumps and bruises when taking a fall

Long summer nights turned to autumn browns
As I grew older I had life’s up’s and down’s
Working for a living to make ends meet
Bringing up children that was a treat

Do you remember me? I was young and daft
I couldn’t remember when I last laughed
I had wild ideas but they didn’t last long
I knew back then that I didn’t belong

Now I am older, I’ve survived life’s trials
I’ve cried many tears and travelled miles
Nearing retirement I look back at things
Wondering now what retirement brings

Premium Member My Grandma

Grandpa breathed his last when
My father was still in my grandma’s womb
For me it’s a distant dream to recall
What he looked like or what he was.
But what the people of the town said
That he was all in one for education of the kids
A head-master, a teacher, a peon, a caretaker.

But I do remember my grandma with whom
I lived since my birth to my teenage till
I left for the university education.
My grandma widowed at the age of nineteen
Bringing up my father, settled him for a good life.
Built a tall wall against all Tsunamies and if
there were Tsunamies, they're on the other side of the wall.

And then………..
She got up in the dawn, and knelt and blew
Till the seed of the fire flickered and a-glow
And then she had to scrub and baked and swept,
Went to river for wash and
Bring a pot of drinking water
Till stars were beginning to blink and peep;
And me lie long and dreamt in my bed,
And her day went over in idleness.
Waited my return from the school and
If late by a few minutes,
Will come half the way to school.
While she must work though old
Till the seed of the fire got feeble and cold
Getting cataracts in both her eyes and
I was her eyes and her ears and hands later
I remember my grandma as she lay dying,
What she said of me to my dad "that Babu,
He's all the treasure you will ever need”.

Disappearing Man

Step by step down the hall,
Head hung low, gazing down.
Healing from the fall,
hurt covered with a frown.
Others ignore him,
Drowning in the pain.
Holding you under, hope you can swim.
sitting alone in the rain.
He is an invisible boy

She dodges the remark,
Sliding past you in the hall,
Soft spoken, gentle heart
Healing from the sprawl,
too afraid to start.
Others ignore her,
Engulfed by fear,
movements a blur,
all to avoid the sneer.
She is an invisible girl.

Energy finds each other
Eyes meeting in the hall
Encased by bodies smother
Loneliness begins to loll.
Then whisked away,
Class starts anew,
His/ her face in their minds shall play
And their minds brew.
He is an invisible boy,
She is an invisible girl.

He built up the courage,
And walked up to her
Freeing her from the cage
Her mind began to stir,
Their eyes meet,
Acknowledge for the first time
Bringing up a feeling that can’t be beat
Excitement began to climb.
The invisible girl and boy have been seen

Now together they walk
Side by side
With no fear of the talk
Their tears have dried
Hearts jump in joy
No longer afraid of the crowd
One together, girl and boy
Their heads shall not be bowed
The invisible girl and invisible boy
The girl and boy are not alone.

The Sloth

His life is an epic
He is the one person who opens wares an hour after the market
He comes to town a day after the fair

He "holds hard" after the shot has left the gun
He locks the stable after the herd is all gone
He won't die, though he is of no use alive

He is Mr. everything married to Mrs. nothing
They cover their well after their children are drowned and left in the deep

They are busy ploughing the air when their field is waist high in weed
Busy! They are at the old farm
Bringing up buckets of water
After the last pillar of thier house is burnt down

Premium Member Eps Syndrome

My Dogs have the dreaded multiseasonal EPS syndrome “Eat-Poop-Sleep”.
But not my Dragon, so clever, he’s added mischief to this illustrious heap.
He has our Australian Cattle dog herding the penguins up the street.
The Gutter frogs hop along, checking out future gutters for to keep.

The little Closet Trolls are weighing in, to help exercise the lot down the sidewalks!
They’ve even saddled up our cats, so we can add them, too. What an amazing shock!
Our forest friends and even the friendly bear, disturbs his sleep each day, for this walk.
You ought to see the neighbors run when we come on parade, right down the block.

Tho, it might be Hubby’s Basement Trolls who scare them, as we walk the street.
They’re bringing up the rear. Yes, on Pooper scooping patrol. They are so sweet!
And the little Closet Trolls have convinced every squirrel to taunt the dogs…
By running across the street, and yes, up every single tree, to make them, jump and jog!

Dragon has everyone involved as he wears a sign… for his new project and job…
The sign: “Pet Walking for every pet! We Don’t come Cheap, but we’re not snobs!”
Surprisingly, we now, find pets tied up at all the neighborhood doors…
With money in their collars… waiting to join in all the walks, for sure…

We wander down the street, thru the park, and to the ice cream parlor, with its allure.
Wind, rain, snow, and cold… does not stop this glorious prevail, on it’s tour.
For Dragon loves his ice cream…and the others they do, too, those tasty treats, to procure.
I come along to make sure no one is left out… in this quest for ice cream, de jure.

Eat, Poop, Sleep…Well, to this: I say my lovely peeps…
“Piddle Dee Dee… and Piddle De Dum”
Look Out for Dragon’s business… For Here We Come!
The Dog days of winter… are no longer Hum Drum!

Remember: a dream, using a mind… can create something, quite sublime!

The Poem In the Mind-2

The poem in the mind

There is only enough space in my mind
For just a poem and there you I find
Can’t think of another thing
My mind singing what you sing
To all else except you I’m rather blind.

I know you are an involved mom of six
And what toll it takes bringing up those chicks
On your spirit and body
Your life was never gaudy
But the essence of such a gracious mix.

Adorable are your traits which are rare
Attributes, six, are your children so fair
They are love, care and beauty
Passion, power and frailty
Here’s the perfect woman beyond compare.

Dear God, a Poem From Your ***** Daughter

Dear God,
This is a letter from your ***** daughter.
Wait, hold up did this girl just say *****?
"You are not a child of God!" Someone shouts!
Oh shut up! This is my letter.
Anyway you know I grew up in church
Singing your songs swaying in the pews
Lifting my hands high up
Shouting my praises
Hallelujah Amen!
God is GOOD!
But as I grew older
Just the thought of your name made me squirm
Soon the songs changed pitch
And sounded off key
I couldn't sit through a Sunday school class
Without cringing
When bibles were being handed out I pulled my hand away
Like your word would burn me like hot coals
And soon after that the music completely stopped
I wasn't going to church
I cut ties with my choir boy and flower girl looking friends
I traded Sunday dresses for ripped tights and combat boots
I cut my hair SHORT
I got called a boy
But I wasn't offended
I started looking at boys in a new way
I liked them
Soon after that...I also started looking at girls
I felt the same feeling I felt for boys
I wasn't ashamed...
I was told I should being what they called a "christian"
But I wasn't one
I didn't want to even be one
The name sounded dirty
Foul
I wanted to gag at the sound
Bringing up my past is never good
And you know I still am not a "Christian"
I believe in God, but that doesn't mean "Christian"
No offense big man but your hardcore "followers", these so called Christians, hate me
They are the BIGGEST hypocrites I've met
"Oh we love everyone" they claim
But once they find out the truth about me?
"God hates fags!" "Sinner!" "Blaspheme!"
Your reply?
"SCREW YOU SHE IS MY DAUGHTER TOO!"
Wait can god say screw you?
I guess it doesn't matter I mean you are God.
Personally I think it would be awesome to hear you say screw you
That would make me want to give you a high five
And you know God I realize now
You aren't all bad
I may not have it figured all out
But black or white
Young or old
Boy or Girl
Straight or *****
You love me all the same

With all her love,
Your ***** Daughter :)

P.S. Thanks for the rainbows :)

Enjoy Your Youth

In school these days
they teach about
sex education
but perhaps

they should teach
about work
when my son
was a baby

he woke every two hours
doctors said he had colic
time and time again overnight
we got up feed him changed him

and went without sleep
I can't imagine
how hard it is on a girl
to bring up a baby by herself

night after sleepless night
we became exhausted
I can't imagine how
a young girl on her own would cope

then on top of that
she can't go out
the baby won't
disappear for the night

every night day after day
that child will be there
wanting and needing your love
everyday without a break

granted the bond is special
and I loved bringing up my son
but perhaps we should
talk about the work required

the loss of social life
that most teenagers enjoy
having a child will wait
enjoying your youth will not.
