It will be her first visit since the day we waved goodbye....

It is spring break !!

It was moving day several months ago...
that she wrapped her small arms around her Grandpa's waist, tearfully
Then turned to me with "I love you" from her small voice"
"I love you...

Telephone Booth
The yellow pages wither away in this red undertone
Our world once reconnected behind wood and glass
When two hearts were disconnected by the world so vast
To the love posted in units of time…get me a coin fast!

At the corner of Cosmos and Maxwell two minds...

My Telephone Booth
Always a little leak,
Dripping in my roof.
As the thunder and the lighting,
Storm around my telephone booth.
The tidal wave is rising,
To drown the children a sleep,
As we hammer in the nails,
Through his bleeding wrists and feet.
Some talk of joy and wonder,
Some talk of better days,
But I...

To Voting Booth Race

Why let her experience go to waste

Time for woman in White House being
My wife and I have been agreeing
And to voting booth we both raced.

Behind that screen you are waiting to hear
“My dear, please confess. Why do you fear?”
My body burning and my soul bound for hell
“Do hear me now, my confession’s a spell.”

“I confess, I love you more than I should
I confess, near you... I cannot be good
I...

after the dance we opened the doors
dampness surrounded this place maroon drapes
paisley patterns blinded my emotions license plates
of james dean covered the pine paneling only in the back

funny how a pair of levi's could bring about
such lonliness but there was...

Premium Member Voting Booth Conversation
My African-American
young adolescent daughter,
since she was age five
needing a therapeutic home and family,
with Oppositional Disorder
and deviantly diverse neural-cognitive communication patterns,
would have voted for Donald Trump if she could.

In large part,
I suspect and fear,
because she is obsessively attracted
to what and whom she knows is bad for...

All a platonic trend.
Two brothers and a friend.
Since childhood all began.
From morning till night's end.
Fun times that they would spend.
Till love hath just descend.

A friend with boxed glove.
Brother, more sort of.
The wiles of young love.
A swoon mourning dove.
Played 'pull the leg of'.

Kissing booth scene.
Unraveled seams.
Break...

Frog Kissing Booth
The animals on the
farm are having
their annual county
fair.

Frogs from the pond
have agreed to
set up a kissing booth,

so far no takers,
except other frogs,
but for 50 cents,

it's a good deal, all
the proceeds go to
homeless farmers,

so come on down,
kiss a frog, hey
it's for a good cause.

The end of suffrage you so despised.

Death in the theatre.

The Dark
Clouds turns black,
not plain nor blank
In that dark,
I looked up to the sky
Saw the glittering stars,
Not any out of sight
Noble they all look,
Every tick they spark.

Twinkle, twinkle
They all hail their moon
When in place,
No one cause them to mute
Fashion...

The Assassination of Abraham Lincoln
It was brief and short sad moment of time
That still flashes and rings in the painful memory of the country
Enjoying and his wife Mary Todd the play 'Our American Cousin'
In the midst of the laughter and roar of the audience
A southerner John Wilkes Booth full...
