When velvet petals blend with moonlit drips
I wander in full joy of a skyline’s hue,
evenings chant drifting through an eclipse
time away from rushed hours, while air brings dew.
I wander in full joy of skyline’s debut,
laced flowers tasting a hint of basil,
time away from rushed hours, while air spills dew
when color of blush deepens, my cheeks thrill.
Laced flowers tasting a hint of basil,
boughs adorn the garden in twilight ,
when color of blush deepens, my cheeks thrill
as mixture of red and white grow bright.
Boughs adorn the garden like nature's play
evenings chime, drifting on an eclipse
as blend of red and white glints away,
when velvet nigh-hours trail with moonlit dips.

Velvety
Soft and lusciously sweet
Roses dote on the blush of your lips
Exquisite
Pearls of dew on a web
Spiders envy your silken tresses
Enchanting
Are the trills of songbirds
Larks revere your melodious voice
Mesmeric
A flowing waterfall
Love cascades within your wistful eyes

To see you flash a smile to blush
Small twinkle in your eyes of green
I look and want for that scene
Watching from my hidden brush
I think I might have a crush
My heart overflows and teems
Can this lust ever be weaned
I settle on your desk like dust
An inkling you must have old friend
I’ve seen the way you stare
I’m trying to look back at you
Reciprocate what you send
Glancing back, am I that fair
Pasdiin is always a dare.

~ For Vienna ~
There once bloomed a Lotus Flower
whose tears mingled with an evening shower.
I saw her smile then slowly wilt and die
In billowy clouds I search for her in the sky.
If I could hold a rich sable brush
I'd paint the pink of her soft blush
upon my canvas, each petal's fold
of her beauty and grace I did behold.
Thoughts of loving her invade my head.
It was from her beauty that I was fed
as a koi swimming in her pond below
where she lived before the Winter snow.
Lovely Lotus, on sage stem of femininity,
the allure of her fragrance was fatal to me.
I remember it though she's gone from sight.
In dreams, she returns to me night after night.
No Geisha was fairer in form or embellished face
then her bloom on velvet throne, I did once embrace.
Purest pearl white petals, she was a work of art.
Lotus, I'll always remember her in the depth of my heart.

WHY WE NO LONGER BLUSH.
Greed just caused a barricade
Named road block,
My rusted tooth brush is been
Pasted with mud,
Blood is the chalk on my
Children’s black board,
Darkness has made my vision
Blind with sawdust,
The society is presently corruption
Drunk,
My skin is now thicker than
The elephants tusk.
Prosperity is an abstract tense
To my leaders ears,
Her desk is the nest for corrupt
Birds.
These foundation needs urgent
Salvation,
Political elite believe in dehydration
Clothed with frustration.
Dehumanization is the logo for
Each progressive union,
How is it done in Pluto?
That astronauts dream to travel
Like she harvests gold.
Niger is my home
The future looks like a shredding
Rope,
Major infants are infected with
Running nose.
Wealth is a test not show of
Strength
Even the beggar can become
My president
If he dreams well
And furnish his sense,
Be prepared to help
Distribute smiles without
Collecting rents.

Ballade
The Blush Noisette Rose states it's plea
to it's new gardener;
begging to be pruned from top to bottom.
Weather-beaten and looking worse for wear,
some petals have fallen off,
some have withered on the vine
and lost their bright colors.
It pleads to the gardener
to snip off all dead stems with his silver shears,
to pluck away leaves that have wilted.
"Water me each morning, so I'll stay as young as spring!"
it pleads
"Make me the wondrous sight I used to be in the eyes
of those in love, and those in search of it;
even in the eyes of lonely people, too,"
adds The Blush Noisette Rose.

Perfect Blush
I´m a man but want to be a rose
not a tiny one for your lapel, but
a rose atop a thorny bush for all
to see my magnificence.
And I will let a harvest mouse
Make a bad amongst my soft petals
safe from cats, sleep in sunlight
wake up and fall asleep again.
Those who try to pick me will bleed
I´m not for a suitor to pick.
But I will when time is right
With a bit of foliage, lie upon your pillow

Ballade
Hush my sweet petal, hush,
Thine experience that causeth thou cheeks to flush;
Is the titillation of loves first blush.
Thou beauty causeth mine heart to pound.
To shaketh it foundations leaving mine legs unsteady on the ground,
Walk yonder, then hitherto me.
Filleth mine eyes with thy beauty of thee,
Mine lips shape thy vowels of thine name
But mine voice feareth to spoil it in this adulterous game
Oh my dearest Lisa to love thee would be a carnal feat
But thine and mine love would be a sweet sinful treat
For Lisa Hiatt not as good as yours. Icannot believe I didn't rhyme one of the lines. I have to rewrite it :-(

It's October now;
the air seems somewhat cooler
than my thoughts, yet, I can feel
the warmth in the breeze as it kisses
the trees.
They're turning slightly red
as I did, and am now, in remembering
when our lips first met.
It won't be long now
till they undress;
all good things fall
naked beneath covers of white.
Soon they'll reach out in anticipation
and feel the first few flakes of innocence
covering them deep within layers of thought.
They'll be less red then,
and more at ease in their nakedness
as they breathe deeper.
The wind's changing pitch again,
it's rising high in the hills,
falling low through the valley below.
I can feel it shifting with my thoughts
as I pull back the layers of my own mind.
It's no longer cool, this air, but rather warm
as it mingles your scent with memory, this day.
It's October, yet, I wonder,
will I too fall naked
and less red before autumn's passing?
The wind is calm right now,
it's pausing, but it's still October
and the trees are still slightly red
although I, I am more autumn-like
than they, in my remembering.

"A spell cast beneath the moon will not grant
what a lonely heart desires." ~Poet's quote
She wears the feverish pink blush of innocence
But this young enchantress has painted her own cheeks.
Her dark eyes, smoke shadowed, she intends wickedness,
casting a spell with the mystical words she speaks.
As a barn owl watches with intense suspicion,
condoning her sorcery with shrill piercing taunts.
Poised, she continues with tenacious petition,
chanting the words of havoc on the man she wants.
Beneath the pallid glimmer of the haloed moon
she summons a nebulous mist up from the sea.
Then, softly singing a beguiling old fey tune,
croons 'til an avian flock appears from her plea.
Ravens do the bidding of her archaic charm.
With an eerie gleam shining in their beady eyes,
they'll encircle the man with their cries of alarm,
cawing the curse to make him love her by sunrise.
She wears the feverish pink blush of innocence,
As a barn owl watches with intense suspicion.
Beneath the pallid glimmer of the haloed moon,
Ravens do the bidding of her archaic charm.
