Asparagus Full Grown
"Asparagus Full Grown"

Now it had been said again & again...
By those who sailed way away back then when~
Whot ayre aloft shall always come down~
So's may be seen in the streets of some town!

'Twas such to be true we shall find out~
'Twas such to be naught...

Asparagus
Delicate subtle green stem
So unusual
The emerald of the crop
Little magic wands
Stacked upon my plate
Dare I salt?
No!...

Premium Member Asparagus
Asparagus shoots, tender, and green~ killed
By late winter's artic blast and hoar's frost
All that intensive work, tossed aside, lost
The natural world rode in so skilled
Though maybe there are some shoots like love's thrill
In poor soil, lies quietly hidden tossed
Like an uncultivated field with plow uncrossed
Once...

Adults of the Asparagus
You've heard of the children of the corn
This my friend is much scarier than that
Here to make sure you eat all your vegetables
Adults of the Asparagus

Set in a quaint New England town
Could be in any novel by Stephen King
Making sure both the young and the...

Flight To Asparagus
“Flight 1036 to Berlin is cancelled;
Please see us for further assistance.”
Why do customs have to be so slow?
Instead of getting where I need to go,
I sit in a bench on the side of a shop
In Peru. They said the connection was
Cheap, but now I am...

Asparagus
Every time she ate asparagus

I knew it.

The place seethed.

Every time a bad dream

Rocked her night.

I kicked just a little.

She wasn’t alone, ya know.

Every time she sang to me

I pressed closer

To the wall to enjoy.

She would respond

And stroke herself.

Myself.

Felt things lowering

Another happy voice

Joined in

But with that...

Asparagus Patch
Asparagus Patch

We stroll along the sides of streets
That circle where we stay
She quickly sneaks as I stand guard
In some spots along the way
She saw some seeding stalks one fall
So in the spring she’s here
She secretly searches in the grass
With hopes to spot a...

As Per a Gene
Asparagine
Is ever so mean
Spreading breast cancer
All over the scene

Researchers said
Asperagus fed
Cancer cell spread
'Til patients were dead

Forget the greens
And fill up on beans
You know what that means
So map out latrines

Vegans like Susie
Are known to be choosey
Beans make them woozy
& Hops are too boozy

Harken to doctors
Our Grand...

Vedge Bad
I do not like asparagus
That rooty shooty plant
And you won't really care, I guess
About this silly rant
Its stems are pulpy, woody-like
Its tips have tiny spades
That look for all the world, to me,
Like mini hand grenades.

I've tried to cook it many ways
And give it proper lovin'
I've...

Ursai's Plunder
Words of evening she speaks
To him
I act if I don't know
There in secret places
Is where they wish to go
Mornings were I labor most
To be neat and clean
She wholloes beneath him
To be spiteful and mean
Yeah than when separation
Is the antidote
I am all he has
It's when...
