Premium Member Forgive My Silence

Dear December, Forgive my silence,
I’m still bleeding from
               the lacerations,
I still hear the echoes
from our confrontations.
So much was
          lost in translation,
though I’ve been
         healing in isolation.
Warm is the smile,
when you stretched
your arms
with compassion,
understanding that
not everything
    is black or white.
As I’ve learned about life:
   it goes on.
and In the midst of the
somersaulted journey,
I still remember those
who boosted my sanity,
when September sorrows
slayed my spirits,
as I slowly severed my thorns,
to watch them drown
in a sea of
   broken breaths,
whilst perpetually
praising the painters’ pain,
and the abstracts of
architects articulating
a peaceful pathway,
although I still dwell
on the regrets from
strawberry fed wolf moon,
the night when my
heart yearned to be heard,
as I delicately smeared
my emotions across
clementine and
       cranberry twilights,
in hopes
        of forgetting
withered willows,
whilst letting it melt
Honeysuckle vines,
with hues of the sangria
sky reflecting ever so softly,
showing me reasons
to believe again in
better tomorrows,
for there is a rainbow
aching to glow
after every storm,
and there’s far too
much to be grateful for
in this life of delirium,
so shall we allow this
winter to be the seed
of warm light and water~
      forgive the stars that
veiled their silver,
as fate turned
her back on our garden,
let memories float in
      paper boats of
          lilac feathered forgiveness,
along the river of reconciliation.

Let’s flow and flourish together,
leaving behind an aroma
so divine on
cashmere sweaters,
with unwritten poems
tucked beneath velvety pillows,
that tasted so many tears,
and have seen too many
                 vanquished fears.

Premium Member Jewel That Took the Crown

A coral pink design on glistening ruby tapestry--
Reminiscent of ingenuity of sculptor's blueprints
In scarlet-orange tinges and teal-green imprints
Hanging spectacularly in the cosmic art gallery.

You are the brushstrokes of Florentine artistry--
Verses of poetry scripted in ornate vocabulary
Articulating the vision of a star studded galaxy
Flying in the universe on wings of your beauty.

The scent of purple heliotropes you often vied for
Lingers in search of your golden yellow persona
Since you left the earth floating on dream clouds
Ingesting dusty gases to forge your own replica.

Jealous are the stars of your blushing rose motif
Shaped like a monarch besting your surroundings,
An ornament you are, flashing your royal charm--
Jewel that took the crown from dying supernova.

Premium Member Farewell To Summer

Fabulous is summer’s zeal, rustling its vibrant appeal
Allured by song of robins, warbling from willow trees
Rhapsodic in revelry of frolicking shamrock prairies
Enticing lovers’ exuberance waltzing on ocean breeze
Where sandy footprints amble, exuding playful hints
Eagerly invoking love through kindled vibes of fantasies
Luxuriating on beaches, reminiscing sensual musings
Longingly indulging in smitten hearts’ fervent dreams

Tantalized by multicolored choreography of monarchs
Orbiting scented blossoms, articulating random dance

Seduced by fiery vistas invoking passions of romance
Ubiquitous in changing colors beckoning advent of fall
Meticulously browning fields where cattle lazily graze
Mesmerized in twilight blaze, scintillating orange-red
Ebulliently painting horizon in decaying crimson glaze
Ruminating autumn’s brilliance in summer’s farewell

Premium Member Strolling In Autumnal Vibes

Oh! how gracefully the trees, flaunting splendor lilt
Swaying autumn’s palettes in rhythms of winds ruby

As the sun is setting, flaming glow of gamboge skies
Amber breeze is blushing rosy glimmer of eventide
And robins are excavating pecking on decaying lawn
Where ducks are ambling, ogling seductive bond
Amid people strolling, pausing to gaze at opaline arc
Floating crimson filaments on tinted purple canvas
Enhanced by falling colors whirling mellowed vibes
In twilight’s golden ambiance alluring romantic eyes

Gleam of eve’s fading, ceding reign to peeking moon
As scent of you appeals, quiescently enveloping me
Enchanting where I sit, under twinkling stellar magic
Enticed by euphony of mockingbird’s sensuous song
Articulating for me eloquently, love is never too far
When autumn blazes passions titillating lovers’ hearts

Premium Member Somewhere Past the Fallen Limbs

Somewhere past the fallen limbs
Of old tangled oaks and elm
Breaking silence as lighting dims
Rushing whispers split the realm

Mocking silence with a hush
It slicks the stones of shallow brook,
Exalting in babble with a gush,
I turn to take a humble look.

Searching fluid sounds of creation
Articulating His wordless voice,
Tears fall dryly at my sublimation
To waters endless song , rejoice.

Bring To Light a Hidden and Silent Life

There was a serene beauty prevailing around her as she everyday trod the path to work.. She looked so absorbed in her own thoughts that one might not spot the mysterious and cloudy stare into her eyes..

She knew her way to home and work by heart.. she seemed to be in a perfect tune with time and place.. all her movements appeared to be synchronized with the tempo of the sounds surrounding her..

Such a harmonious living human being! If only one could step into her world and bring to light her hidden and silent life!

Of those who watched her from afar would think of her a beauty of no core.. a blend of pathos and an unusual feel.. For those who crossed her path and nodded and smiled a friendly hello would neither see nor hear a greeting feedback!

Such an endearing youth! If only one could receive the full force of her inner warmth and smiles!

At work, no single unusual twists in her regular routine except for one bright day when a newly hired colleague, dripping with infatuation, approached her and dared looking into her non blinking eyes :

“ When I look into your eyes I see a life of hope and love we can share together.. “

He could see her articulating : “ Would you please step closer and repeat what you have just said so that I can see you and decrypt your words? “

Each living being
an abundance of powers
possible to see

Sunshine Smile

When I’m down with a frown
                                               And need a smile
I go down the list and look up
Jan, Mystic Rose, Rajat, or John
I don't know which one makes me smile and laugh the most
With their articulating imagination and mischief pure gold
                                 Rhythmical rainbow colored poems.
When one thinks they have run out of words
They have thought a of something new
Then when I am frowning, I tap on their threshold
                                          To have a sunshine smile

Premium Member You and I Were Meant To Be

Remember our High School classes?
Watched you fidget with your glasses.
Slender fingers twirled chestnut hair,
enough to make me stop and stare.

I caught that twinkle in your eye,
envisaged stroking supple thigh.
Then you flashed me your trademark smile,
made perseverance all worthwhile.

Recall when snuck into your house,
not wake your folks, a quiet mouse.
Left your spare key under a rock,
so in I'd come at twelve o'clock.

I'd savour watching you asleep,
green eyes squeezed shut whilst counting sheep.
Snuggled under cotton bedspread,
know you like left side of the bed.

It's been so long, the time is right,
our passion soars like doves in flight.
I just know we're on the same page,
let's move things on to the next stage.

From the rooftops I'll proudly shout,
for in the end, true love will out.
Hearts beat as one, we're meant to be,
what do you say, please marry me?

Twisted confessions make me spew!
Tainted by debased disorder,

I used a more simplistic approach than my usual style as I was trying to put myself into the mind of a stalker - what's going through his head and how would he try articulating that to the target of his obsession? Hope it worked. And now I need a shower... urgh!

my storm will rage your way,
your gust flustering me one day,
articulating thoughts of you...
and mystifies my life.

Premium Member Turning Your Life Around

The Lord will supply all my needs and will fill up my cup.
You are a child of the King, bow to no negative circumstance or critical invective, so stand up!
God has wonderful plans for your life if you will just listen up!
God's spirit breathe new hope and life into you.
Believe who He says you are, not what others say to insult and humiliate you.
Embrace a bold and courageous attitude.
Always be polite never rude.
Believe who God says you are, not what enemies tag you,
To yourself just be honest and remain true.
Ask God to help you to "open your mouth and increase your territory" (prayer of Jabez in 1
Chronicles 4:10).
Prepare what you are going to say and then practice articulating your message clearly.
When all is dark around you and no light shines at the end of your tunnel of despair,
Always remember God loves you and cares.
Get up and walk; don't just sit around bemoaning your problems.
Beloved only our God can solve them.
Allow God to do a "new thing" in you (Isaiah 43)., Choose to become new again.
Ask God for a vision for your life, talk with God as you would a friend.
Take a sabbatical rest especially when you are being blessed.
He does all of this so we can ready where there is new danger.
Be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger.

As far as the eye can see, thunder roars with such fury in the horizon.
Beneath the sea sculpturing deep tints and shades of blue, briny crystallizing.
The tide draws away and breathes its curse.
Articulating its exaltation moving force,
manifesting and mesmerizing.

Bout gaits end with the striking off sound.
Airborne when all four are off the ground.
Breeze laced through his mane with pride.
Feeling the cold embrace, he draws a breath with every stride.
As the rain caress, fire burns inside, free its soul bound.

Well-Written

WELL-WRITTEN

Eighteen times he lied and he had nine lives to live.
He got shot and became a better man.
But oh, he was in a schizophrenic mind where his thoughts were awe-inspiring.
He was one that loved to nature walk.
He would set goals for himself and do his best to accomplish them.
Yet, he never achieved anything big, but what he did made him somebody.
You would see him articulating like a university professor.
He was ever-changing in his expressions and gestures.
His parents named him Andy and Billups is the surname.
He occupied his time as a Sears and Roebuck home improvement representative.
He did very well in sales and marketing.
Andy strived to be that perfect family man.
Of course, he is happily married and has one child.
Andy spends a lot of quality time.
He says family matters as owning your own home is the biggest investment to booth today.
Hence, he must be more conscientious about his way of making a way out no way.
He has a reputation that he feels is vast and wide.
He has the willpower and the courage of a creative mind.
Andy is maturing in his determination of protecting his wants, needs, and desires.
But oh, you may ask why Andy is important.
Why did you desire to share him with us?
It is about the image presented.
Well-written is the thingamajigism.
Andy Billups provides his life-force and his essence.
Thus, sharing it is within diversity.
And therefore, an inner core of humanity has been titivated.

Malcolm X

It is not as simple as merely changing one's name
You must understand the cauldron before that came
And the hustler's hair caught fire burning into red anguish
And the water is disconnected to out the wish
Something about a mother's prayer and father's faith
Like all the islands were one Caribbean state
Jamaica and St Kitts came together beautifully in his fate
I mean the old Garveyite dead upon the track's wrong side
And from his Nebraska to Michigan the fire follows and chide
Those admitting schools where a child's vision died. Wait
Till the latch is pulled on the city's yawning gate. Here
Behold the child crushed into streets by livid fear
                        ii
So Malcolm by way of Michigan from Nebreaska came
Flesh "red" with fire, eyes knotted with black desire
I mean nothing to aspire to better than a street name
A pimp, a runner, a hustler and only addresses retire
From New York to Boston the criminal element slithers.
Through windows widowed of locks, and doors deprived
The white margin keeps the black space in small fetters
The heist hoist him over the humped wall showing real
Chain this time and literal boundary for a black dream
Religion is borm always in our stillness, bringing zeal
To transform our weakness, and in his a eyes a gleam
Making name and nature one in Islam's deep embrace.
Prison begins for Malcolm the new prosedy of the race.

This gentleman and a scholar, this soldier strongly suited
O glorious comes morning after pilgrimage of night
And through its light this self-made man of sin uprooted
Was Africa's apostle articulating her children's plight.
So brother Malcolm, like a native prince valiant and bright
Took on the citadel's of false history, and with all still
Stoop and lifted sultry minds of sable children with might
And with his balm of words O mended their broken will
Could you have seen him compared with himself in the fifties
Could have sat and listened to the legal logic of his mind
Humbler and humbler he became, a pilgrim in the sixties
But after the firebombing you know death is near behind
He then like his father forewarned came to their end
By tragedy, and for such only the great ones God will send.
