"The Kissing Loop"
My eyes close to keep you there
in a dream slow dancing, bow and cello we waltz in air
bending you closer into my body
like this pea soup fog embracing me
I walk quiet streets surrounded
by Mountains of Blue
the fat bellied pregnant clouds deliver
a life that is verdant, that is new
a new day is born
through some kind of Light storm
grey mist in a teacup of a town
I am walking in the clouds
this could be some kind of heaven
high up in my beautiful kingdom
free as a bird gliding silently
down quiet streets besieged by
beguiling story unfurling
in forests of blues lavenders and greens
train departs at 3
train departs at 3
Blue Highway at the Cross Roads
Where time is easy, fresh air to breathe
The record in my mind that plays
over grooves cracked for a thousand and more days
where the kissing loop repeats it’s mission repeats it’s mission
some kind of erudite Sanskrit, like kissing walls Aramaic, another foreign language
but you’ll hear the message if you quiet your mind and your heart listens
Love is in every step taken
One step forward 3 step back
The Kissing Loop that’s been playing it’s oneiric
"Blue Highway at the Cross Roads"
is right on track
train departs at 3
train departs at 3
and here stands me

Ancient tombs, of long ago times
Byblos, the walled city, fortress and shrines
Shrouded in mystery, wisdom's, and thyme
The Phoenicians sailed from this very port
Their ships full of knowledge and the alphabet too
And the peoples from times long forgotten
The ancestors of merchants in the souks of now
The oldest city, charmed by the sea
The churches of St Peter, tell the prophecy
Praise the heavens, the God of your heart
In the language of Jesus, love never parts
Aramaic wisdom's, true to this day
Praise God, his love never swayed
Love of mankind
Love of your soul
Love of the creator
Marhaba
---
Marhaba is an Arabic word used in the Middle East as “Hello”.
But most people don’t know its source
Marhaba comes from a Syriac (Aramaic, Assyrian) origin and was used by the first Christians
Mar = Master or God
Haba =Love
Marhaba = God is love
As Catholic churches still give masses in Latin, The Maronite Church still gives sermons in the ancient language of Jesus, Aramaic.
Byblos is an ancient city in Lebanon, Byblos is the Greek name for the Phoenician city called Gebal. Today it is believed by many to be the oldest continuously-inhabited city in the world.
"See of Ghosts"
ghosts never leave
they watch you
while you sleep
casting dreams
of their return
they wait for you
to see
ghosts never leave
whispering their
absent stories
into your delta heart
constant in deep shadows
along the undulating waves
the rocky path to them, you walk
ghosts never leave
whispering their
gracious dreams
in you they live
through all your worst
war-walled nightmares
ghosts never leave
they set their intent
in all your torrid storms
to reach you, a compass set
before you, in all your southward stories
closer north than the distant pall
ghosts never leave
you hear them
in the undertow,
their wishful tone
of eternal wanting,
peace, and love
you hear
underneath the
incessant chatter
the white noise
of who is right
and who knows best
you listen to your heart, alone,
you hear,
a ghost
and its
constant call
ghosts never leave
they watch you
while you sleep
casting dreams
of their return
they wait for you
to wake,
to see

The Meaning Of Humankind
Forever people look for a complicated word
Years, decades and centuries they search
One sad word that gives meaning to humankind
Poets have written pages looking for the word
Singers sing their songs trying to find just the right word
Writers tell stories about the search for the word
Not one poem, song or story can find the perfect word
The perfect combination of letters and sounds
No one can find the one word that describes humankind
The perfect word is there right before them
It has been for all the history of the spoken language
In Greek, Latin, English or Aramaic or Chinese it has one meaning
Five letters, three syllables work together to giving meaning to humankind
The word the poets, singers and writers have been searching for
That word is simply alive
A sad word because it always has a final moment, a moment of loss
Yet, a happy word because while we are alive
We live, we love, we learn and we experience life and who we are
Sad or happy “alive” is the meaning of humankind
Thank the gods for the happy moments yet do not fear the sad ones
For that it life
That is the meaning of being alive
Sycamores certainly speak French, cypresses - ancient Greek, the Old Testament's olives are bilingual: they speak Hebrew and Aramaic. Birch is a Russian tree though growing in Canada. So small and frail (they wither abroad), already gone into a winter trance, she is silent but she is silent à la russe. That's how silent bears in dens are, that's how drunkards listen to the voice of the devils dissolved in their blood, that's how old believers pray, that's how a poet meditates on his faraway homeland and, finally, that's how silent my girlfriend was, accompanying me to the airport. What are we doing here, you and me, between fall and winter, at the crossroad of four Canadian corners?
a hush of partings
of pursed lips and lonely hearts…
we should go home birch

"Abracadabra Purple Doors"
Abracadabra
boo!
Coo coo ca choo
Candide Diderot. ‘24
Some think abracadabra comes from the Hebrew phrase “ebrah k'dabri,” and means “I create as I speak,'” - while others think it comes from “avra gavra,” an Aramaic phrase meaning “I will create man” — the words of God on the sixth day of creation.
“When God created Woman, he was working late on the sixth day. An Angel came by and asked, ‘Why spend so much time on her?’ The Lord answered, ‘Have you seen all the specifications I have to meet to shape her?’” “‘She must function in all kinds of situations."
(Part 2) The Next Few Hours,Then Homeward.
To soon, the road an end did come
and I that dreaded stake to the ground did lay,
Where without ado, they laid that Holy-man down,
Over that stake and through both His hands
that they placed above His head, and home they drove
that awful iron spike, and not a murmur or cry
did that Holy-man uttered in pain, that morn,
Not even when they spiked His feet, apart to the post
Then three plagues in mockery was nailed to the post
above His hands, in the languages used most common
at the time, one in Latin, I read out to myself
reading, Iesus Nazarenus Rex ludaesrum,
Then below another in Greek and one in Aramaic,
The latter I could not read and spoke but a bit,
Now anger and rage was seething through my veins
away I had to flee, away from that gruesome scene.
Away I fled, a half league or more, I paused
my need to rest and myself to calm,
Never could I understand the bestiality's of man
there under a barren Olive tree, I laid me down
and soon asleep I fell, for the horror to escape,
It was the chill of the afternoon that woke me
in the haze of sleep I heard an anguished
cry, rendered from the heart in a voice loud,
In Aramaic, I could tell sounded clear
"Eli, Eli Lema Sabachthani"
which meant to me "My God, My God why have you
abandoned Me", and of a sudden the sky
grew dark and foreboding, and a lull fell over the land,
Enough now had I of ludaea, enough
of cruelty, and of mayhem rife, home-ward
I decided to steer my way, home to my land,
Just on a score of days I traveled
to my home, my family and land,
Now often as I work the fields and plough
I still feel His hand, His Holy hand
upon my shoulder, see His gentle smile
and His voice sweetly, coursing thro' my mind
"You too will sip this cup with Me
to the end of time", and indeed truly blessed I felt.
Now I have heard along the grape vine
that Holy-man was called Jesus by name
and that as His name implies, meaning
a Savant Saviour for all, that and much more He was.
And wonders of wonders they said
He rose from the dead, He never died
Praise God I said, He never died on
That torturous detested stake.
now in his mind there are many gears
rusty but funtional.
they meter out the letters and create words

For everyone who hates his brother murders a person, and you know that eternal life cannot abide in anyone who murders a person.
Aramaic Bible in Plain English
1John 3:15
A murderer biblically,
Sometimes a person can be a killer
in the eyes of God ignorantly.
As he "she "continue hating other people daily.
Telling some haters to stop hating can be daily songs
in the ears of thousands of world dancers
As the preachers don't discourage to speak loudly
in the groups, at the beaches , at flee markets,
in the churches and on the streets.
Some folks understand them , stop hating other folks
and allow godly love to shine their lives,
But others can reject their daily devotions
and continue living inhumanely.
A murderer biblically,
Hating means killing according to the scripture,
How many people does a hater kill daily?
( lots of people dying innocently.)
It is good time to repent and
stop hate in the World.

sometimes i want to write but
my hand cramps up
so i switch hands
now my right hand does not like
my left because he does not know how
to use chopsticks properly.
old lefty does not seem able
to be articulate at first either.
being referred to as the cleft left.
a place where
q's look like r's
c's look like a's
and a's still look like a's
infact the intire alphabet turns
and renders itself to lefty in some
form of ancient sanskrit known
as illegible scribble.
where
strange birds float down on silt
through the pens black ink nile
cursing in aramaic
and chain smoking domestic
cigarettes rolled in the papyrus
of holy books
along the reeds of fingers
they pass like a mosaic law
held together by the thumb.
until one rises along the interstate
to show itself to a man in a
landrover following way to close.
old lefty you beautifully
misunderstood dyslexic genius,
how could i have only used
you for holding the coffee
mug all these years.

Talitha cumi...
in ascending order
she rises
above horizons
bright star she hides
from no one
umbra dissolving upon
her nightly entrance
unwavering in brilliant
and cogent self shining
Were I - inclined or perhaps
merely intoxicatedly disposed
to take up dancing
at the edge of some
drifting far and away
heaven - were I
it would be there
beneath
if not beside her light
her vespertine beauty exposed
among
night's celestial pastures
the gift she can hide
from no one
(March 31 2016)
Talitha is one of the common names for Iota Ursae Majoris, a yellow and purple star system in the constellation Ursa Major consisting of two binary stars orbiting around each other.~~ ( Talitha -Biblical Aramaic for "Little girl"-- cumi-"rise" or "get up")
If very hard read,
take the log from your eye -
or perhaps it's the wrong creed
meriting such custard pie.
Language archaic?
Well so what if it scans
Neither Norse nor Aramaic,
I'm certain most understand.
A trifle obscure?
My due consternation!
Still … are you certain 'it's ... sure ...
not poor imagination?
Leave critical muck.
Produce own Odyssey
Rather than to be stuck
In morass of jealousy.
You’ve become indispensable,
a reason for my existence;
a quest for what life means
speaks at length in actions.
Oh God you’re the only one,
whose essence makes me one
like a sibling soul in reality
a perspective in spirituality.
The Aramaic expression says,
“Maranatha!” Come, O Lord!
that’s my mantra, a language –
lived in hope and expectation.
Along with trials and pains,
a mystery that keeps me going;
heightened by faith in actions
there’s certainty of his power.
History moves swiftly then,
unfolding God’s messages
his signs and wonders,
come through redemption.
As St Paul says in his letters,
“Christ is before all things,
and in him all things hold together.”
his presence speaks volumes
about eternity and dominion.
With reliance on his words,
promises and exhortations,
I firmly believe he’s with us
giving those gifts for life.
Patience, endurance, love,
and silence of the heart
make me think that’s Him
that really without Him
I’m lost, I’ll be led astray.
Let me explain in words of art.
Open the mind to a-maze-ing ideas.
Coloring books for lives.
Blank pages to fill in.
Conspiring or inspiring concoctions.
Stirring with a paintbrush
colors of bright and dull.
Puzzles that are riddles, me here
pieces collage of phobias
hiding beneath ink
physically and mentally.
Questioning,
without question marks!
Don't ask them, won't understand
hieroglyphs, speaking and writing,
in what must be Aramaic?
With tags on,
like bodies in a morgue,
labeled to your disliking or approval.
Drink embalming fluid.
Can't catch fire, to weak.
Maybe paint thinner?
More chemicals,
mixing colors in the brain,
color me a rainbow of skin,
to wrap around like a blanket
to suffocate with,
or hide in safety?
Can't figure it out?
Back to the table.
Breaking crayons, markers dry up,
spilling the water.
Pick a new coloring book.
So many on the shelves.
Which book is best for you?
A coloring book for the soul perhaps?
How do you color?
