Best Alliances Poems
Great King Solomon, wisest of the rulers of Israel,
The favored son of King David, who was beloved of our God,
Did fall from grace in his old age though God suffered him for years.
He warned him and He warned him that his actions would bring tears.
Solomon's wealth and power were known both far and wide,
And kings from other countries brought their daughters for his brides.,
But God said, 'Solomon be wise, send them away from you,
For they are vile before My eyes and all their daughters too.
If you accept them in My son their sins will be on you.'
But Solomon paid The Lord no mind, he welcomed those kings in,
Made pacts, alliances and deals ignoring grievous sins,
Committed by those kings and queens, acts that God abhorred,
And took unto him concubines and wives before The Lord.
Women that God told him were unclean before His eyes,
And that they'd bring their gods with them so strong would be their ties.
That Israel would follow them and he would fall from grace,
And that's just how it happened that Solomon lost face.
Seven hundred took he them and even their gods too.
He let them build their temples and went in with them too.
His heart was turned away from God by the company he kept.
He followed other gods with them and God, Himself, wept.
That's what's happening here today, they're coming here in droves.
Fleeing from oppression that their way of life enclosed.
They say our God offends them and we shouldn't honor Him.
Well their god offends me too so the same is just for them.
They wish to take away from us the very thing they seek.
Denying us our freedoms, our own laws have made us weak.
We are the pagans in their eyes and of little consequence.
They'll change our laws and change our God. I say it don't make sense.
We'll fall from grace like Solomon,
Lose all that we hold dear.
Our freedom gone we'll lose our land,
Then hide and quake in fear.

Dare you look deep into this darkness
Persecution of Jews - Holocaust
In Hebrew, this has the genocide
been called Shoah,
which means disaster or destruction
The journey has just begun,
and it is far from over
The destination is Auschwitz
to a place without return
The smell of vomit, urine and excrement is overwhelming
Without food and water, trapped in an unbearable heat
Everything is better than nothing
witch's brew, eaten with Satan's fork
made of bats, rats, worm and mice
The vultures is the bird and the messenger
who hunt along the train tracks
Dark tracks ... Jews were sent in closed
freight wagon - before they ended their lives in gas chambers
Their souls destroyed by evil and hatred
Neither will, power, alliances
or the strongest alpha males
- cannot escape the dirty claws of the Nazis
A young mother was raped by the soldiers
White dress with sewn-on transparent arms
a newborn baby suckles the mother's naked breast
It is definitely not for the faint of heart
Shoah !
Through tears, sweat and blood,
from generation to generation
At home in the window frame a red Begonia blooms
- for the last time
The door is branded with a yellow star

Welcome, dear children of light...We are star seeds from the Galactic Federation of Planets...many of us are from different worlds, galaxies, universes and dimensions...working together for the harmonious existence of all life...and have been here for much millennia...to help with your ascension to higher states of consciousness and universality...
We have given permission to the earth vehicle of whom you call Winged Warrior...to enlighten you briefly of things to come...
Through the Horsehead Nebula and Pillars of Hercules, we pass the cosmic gates
For the Star Seeds of dimensional drift, their message of universal love awaits
From wormholes to black holes and earth's science theory of Super Strings
We learn about galactic giants and the existence of everlasting minute things
Super-celestial skies, time travel at our door with a quadrillion quantum leaps
And unravel the colossal cosmic codes of the hierarchic hyperdimensional heaps
We shall observe the ancient alliances, Christ consciousness the Christos Beings
Who provide for the Nibiruan Council, the planetary school of earth teachings
Spatial subatomic particles that form the wave-particle duality is a beginning
With electromagnetic fields, light quanta, photons set the universes ringing
For man, matter, and mind are evolving as we reach the cosmic shores
As we become Prime Creators passing through the esoteric enigma doors.

TO BOLDLY GO WHERE NO POET HAS GONE BEFORE - Poetry Contest

Launched over ages of primaeval forces
my nomadic ancestry calls out to me
winds howl driven over rolling hills
atop a ridge of rugged mountains
beyond vestiges of the long silk road
the Mongolian empire looks back at me
the spirit of the great Genghis Khan
runs feral forever through my veins
Mongolia and its harsh wilderness
its barren lands its haunted past
drumming echoes of summoned spirits
unleash the wrath of heaving heavens
I’m more than hoodlum with a vision
I’m a rebel at the helm of my said destiny
My brothers and I are born of a lineage
that’s jagged ruthless rich and proud
fierceness and freedom integral to our dna
we’ll defend our land and way of life
with brute strength and sheer intimidation
in spilled blood we write our history
come hell highwater feast or famine
the spirit of the great Genghis Khan
runs feral forever through our veins
We’ll round up the horses
and harness voracious winds
go out protect and safeguard at all cost
wave our swords and in hearts instill fear
cast our thunder over hills and valleys
earn respect for our ancestors’ inherited land
a kingdom conquered piecemeal by our warlord
father to our people and to our nation vast
A deep longing larger than life compels me
to preserve my legacy against betrayal and conspiracy
dark alliances with sights on pillaging and plundering
no more brutal bloodbaths and massacres
neo-medieval Mongol tribes and clans united
The spirit of the great Genghis Khan
feral through my veins forever runs
and that’s the Mongolia that calls on back to me

VANISHED
We are the echoing voices crying within the darkness,
Melting mists of vapor co-existing amongst the living,
The ambling drifters shifting between reality and limbo,
The vanished.
Displacement malfunction, the frozen chill in one’s space,
Happening without explanation, the corporal spirit sliding
In the temporal rift as if a doorway has opened then closes
With sudden forces slamming,
The vanished.
Running at full sails speed the ghostly ship hanging on the
Distant horizons cresting wave, the Bermuda Triangles curious
Answer, never revealed, a planes broadcasting its S.O.S. then
Nothing except statics silence, the walkers of historical significance,
Never heard from again except in dusty monologue’s ancient text,
The vanished.
Rebukes despised disposed by hatred lies of malice, the forgotten,
Yet we touch the living by the night’s lunar light, angers tortured
Languishing amidst the flames of hell’s fire, crying out for justice
But receiving only torment, silences footsteps heard amongst the
The land of the living,
The vanished.
Sacrifice’s vanished foe, given to the idle gods of the past,
Manipulations fallen solider who gave his life for what
He believed was a justified cause, the lost soul of the
Innocent that does not realize he lies in the kingdom
Of the diseased,
The vanished.
The crumbling ruined city, with its lingering residences,
Still haunting the abandon streets and venues of the past,
Do to tragedies misguidance, or alliances bomb shelled fortress
Torn apart and left to molten ash, these shadows of innocence
Remain, behold
The vanished.
The dead man’s sleep walker, emerging from his cryptic
Tomb, suddenly realizing it’s survived the end of the world,
But now he’s all alone, in isolations one celled chamber,
As the human ash cloud descends upon the last ma
On earth falls to his knees and screams out loud, why,
Dear God, why
The vanished.
Listen to the voices carried upon the wind,
It is the vanquished seeking answers without
Replies response, the weeping victims of time
Bang against our shutters windows, and knock
At the front doors of our souls, they will not
Be ignored,
Those vanished.

The Waxing Moon and the Wind
The winter wind tears at the throat of night
like a fair weather friend.
Once, breeze born seeds had nourished
the ripe soil of summer's joining,
alliances of water, wind, earth and fire
which formed from heart source,
now ravaged by competition.
Howls of blood lust wreak havoc
on the weakening darkness, the pack hunts,
reveling in the hoar frost and the sharp
hump of gibbous moon in the eastern sky.
Each rattle of shutter brings hope to the
onslaught of gale searching to claim
the lead and lead…
to find a chink in the human armor
of hearth, home and family.
Yet, though the wind has might,
the heart fire burns bright and in this warm
light true friendship can be born,
for there is no beauty in the gnashing of teeth
and rending of nascent flesh.
May the wind mellow and once again
carry the seeds of Spring, new life, new art,
and upon the rack of Godly hart.
They stood poised to rise like sons
A collective of kindred spirits to wars
From this squadron pose they chose
They rose to face their foes
Arise like thorns from bulbs arose
Thrust their blades into their souls
Of war cries and the songs of idols
Their fears worn like sculls on spears
Prayers like a kite to the heavens
Courage like feathers to the winds
Crows poke at their startled eyes
Disappear with their gaze like a haze
Fake alliances and poor strategies froze
In this battle defeat is reward for the skeletons
To dowse forever their ignited fuse
Refuse their mummies escape from the killing fields
To amaze the masses arrested in the maze
Kaizer shooting instructions like fireballs
The enemy retaliates by clipping our feathers
The Glamour boys simply regroup their wings
borders drawn and refused entry
my thoughts limit themselves to their flawed counterparts
seeking answers from those who never question authority
hiding behind those who know the truth that they were merely told
wishing to be held one last time closely by someone they thought they loved
ink spills onto parchment and produces an image of long forgotten angst
smiles of hollow-headed individuals who speak in groups that never translate
portions of a broken mirror still reflect what we have yet to see
bloody fingers fumble through the mess that is organized at our ends
alliances with enemies to progress to a place that we find surreal
holding our hands out for payment and receiving just advice on how to live
smelling the acid that pours from our lips and poisons our process
holding our flag high while reciting an anthem to those below
promising that we are equal while explaining our differences
the blind will hear and the deaf will see
motors make noise and move the people forward
while all they wish to do is look back upon what they left behind
pay no attention to those who hate what you create for they do not understand original thoughts
hate has been around much too long and we must advance towards a better life
the stanzas end with a response that you never thought could be comprehended
broken down to your knees, you stand in the ruins of your collapsed dream
you smile at the skies with clouds that promise to bring relief in due time
though nothing can come close to the pain that you felt when you realized she was gone
take a star from the expanse and cast it behind your shoulder
follow the sun and lead yourself by the moon
smile no more and frown no less
we will all be together eventually
pieces of us will be reflected in broken mirrors
but we will be together
again
I was in the company of my
siblings
Enjoying the comforts of my
sisters,
When they came at me
Armed with axes and machetes
determined to grind their oxen
They struck blows upon blows, cuts upon
cuts.
My limbs first, then my trunk came tumbling
down.
I shouted and cried all to no avail, none
came to help me;
Subdued,
I submitted to my fate like
Others
Gone before me.
Then calamity for our maltreatment
began;
Like a curse in due season.
My muffled cry earlier stripped of a voice
began to be heard.....
As temperatures increased by
one degree,
As appointed seasons altered
their course.
Floods and droughts became
synonyms.
The snow banks of the Arctic and
Antarctica,
Began to reach out in protest, not
unmindful of the depravations' of
the Polar bears and its ilk's.
Ozone, grumbling about the partitioning
due to the unholy alliances with Carbon,
Hurting the harmony that once kept them
in bonds.
But now some kind hearted kindred's have
given voice to my,
Cry.
They have taken note and are beginning to
act to save my other siblings.
(I hope it is not too late to save our forests, to
reduce global warming and preserve our earth.)

Alchemy
What process need there be to make
of broken things – the real? Great
sorcerers have failed, formed molten
monuments to greed’s glory. I, poor
peasant that I be, had neither flame
nor Patron, nor desire to be purified.
Priests had tried to rid me of the evils
they perceived; prayed and chanted
waving wands and crosses to summon
the fire of hell or open the gates of heaven.
To their chagrin, I remained unchanged.
Alone in a world of twisted wreckage
I formed alliances with the aspects of
my being that had resisted the sorcery.
Realizing that I was an individual and
need not be party to the organized
incarceration of my mind and spirit.
I honed the edges of my intellect on
tools hand fashioned by experience.
Culled the detritus of past lunacy
and sorted carefully aspects that
might still be of use.
Fear, that mighty bastard, fought
to stay on the throne surrounded
by its henchmen – hate, rage, and
an ever present anger. My choice?
Flee the kingdom or take the crown.
I could no longer remain in exile from
my self but had my self-alchemy the
strength to approach the pseudo
King and challenge his hold on the
empire?
Thus did I, we, the many aspects of
my being, conspire to outwit and
outmaneuver a slow, entrenched,
inflexible imposter. Slowly the seeds
of truth took root, gave blossom to
integrity, trust, and a self-reliance
not based on self. Wisdom followed,
slowly, as is wisdom’s want. So did
the alchemy of youth give way to the
alchemy of growth, the alchemy of
ego to the alchemy of spirit. So was
my darkness brought into the light
my weakness into strength, my being
restored.
John G. Lawless
I wish that nightmares only happened in dreams
Or lives that were so tightly joined together, didn't burst at the seams
I wish that I could find the solution to the pain of losing a lover
Or the pain of losing a sister or brother
Condolences insult the wounds
Hurt feelings and anger has the family consumed
I wish that I could understand why a life so special could just end
How do you mend a heart shattered into remnants?
How do you heal a mother who's sweet baby is gone?
When you know that baby will never come home?
Grief has transported us to a dark place
Sadness has turned to anger and alliances break.
What could have been done to save this precious life?
In order to find the answer, we MUST survive.
The pain of losing a loved one is not temporary
We carry the pain on our sleeve
We cry deeper and harder for every tear they cant see.
It's hard being the one that's left behind
Especially when we were always side by side.
Its hard holding the burden of missing you
When I know that God must have missed you too.
How could he not?
Your smile lit up my world if not THE world
Now I hide you in my heart
The first step to healing is to start.
