Sung to the melody of when I’m 64 by The Beatles
Gotta keep working an extra few years
(Not like years ago)
Governments are screwing us for every dime
I can’t afford a bottle of wine
Hip's been replaced
Yes I’m getting old
I’m too old to twerk
But I’m so needy
and my pension won’t feed me
But I’m ninety four!

Now That I'm 64 by SillyBilly the Kidster
I gotta keep working an extra few years,
not like years before.
Government is screwing me for every dime,
I can’t afford a bottle of wine.
Hip's been replaced,
yes I’m getting old.
I Can't Work Any More,
but I'm still needy,
social security won't feed me,
now that I'm 64.

(This is a fictional poem)
A 94 year old woman kicked my ###.
She beat the crap out of me and left me bleeding on the grass.
Every time I got up, she knocked me down again.
She beat me really hard and I sure as hell didn't win.
The fight started when she asked me to put out my cigar.
I told her that I'd shove it up her vagina and I guess I went too far.
When she got through beating me, I had lost most of my teeth.
Now people laugh at me and all I feel is grief.
Be a lovely flame
Sparkle makes the earth to spin
For pain, loss and death

COPLA 94 INVOCATION : This Bad Guy World
Can the State be arraigned by the State
And condemn and imprison itself :
Whose is the blame
Do many Bad Guys make Bad Guy State
Or does one the other way round delve
To reveal game
Tyrannosaur states auto-absolve
Themselves for the wrongs of bad guys :
Raison d’Etat
Yet selfish acts of Bad Guys resolve
Themselves into acts of the Wise :
Au nom d’Etat

Icy roads and side streets
Cold: possible snow flurry
--Drive slow; Don't hurry!
lilac trees in spring
overflowing with colours
cascading blossoms
cherry tree in bloom
full of flowering foliage
strong scent of perfume
early buds of spring
peeking out of the branches
delayed nest building
I am sure Interstate 94 is on that map!
My husband is getting impatient now.
I have been telling him for an hour.
I am not good at reading maps.
He is finally paying attention.
“It is NOT ON HERE!” I yell.
He finally pulls off at an exit.
“This is an Indiana map! We are in Michigan!”
That would explain my confusion for the last hour.
I ask for refuge to Allah from Satan the exiled evildoer.
In the name of Allah the Kind and the Giver.
Haven’t we for you opened up your breast
And taken off from you burden of your all regret
Which felt like something heavy on your back
And we have enhanced your name and fame to cure the ache.
Surely sorrow resides with happiness
Of course sorrow resides with happiness
So when you are free, show the respect
And make your Lord your exclusive object.
94.A man,aged thirty years,shall marry a maiden of twelve who pleases him,or
a man of twenty-four a girl eight years of age;if(the performance of)his duties would(otherwise)be impeded,(he must marry) sooner...

vietnam reflections 94
the gusts come through the window
wind rolling straight off the lake
water looks choppy today
looks cold and gray
not a good time to take
up the pots
not much fishing
not much anything
except too much time to think
and remember
and drink
might go over to the mainland
and pick up some nets
check out the horses
and place a few bets
anything to chase the ghosts
out of my head
the dead and dying
the almost dead
we brought their bodies back
their hearts and souls are free
we all wished that it was us instead
in those flag covered caskets
guess it wasn't our time
just wasn't meant to be
Even to this old age, hairs gone or gray, I have been there. Another made you, will carry, sustain, and now rescue you at the end. You have been lucky in life, you had the ability to tap into a different kind of love. Felt by too few we encounter, centered and dwelling in your heart. This love so unique because it became part of you, in your youth, still remaining and undiluted in a man of 94. Your motto for all those you encountered, I forgive your mistakes,so forgive your own, “Like water over a duck’s back,” I don’t try to trip you, so why trip yourselves over the trivial, ending once valued connections, built over the years. Your nature has granted second chances, when challenged and wronged by actions of people over a long lifetime. Your rough edges, inherent in speech or actions, of most of your generation, and history, deserve tolerance, weighed against lives you’ve saved physically, spiritually, not ever giving up on, during wars between nations, and wars within families. Those who judge you and criticize, haven’t been where you’ve been, and can’t understand the total sum of you. Who among us, still find inspiration, displaying a genuine smile, by finding both humor and optimism, in each of our days remaining. To emulate the simple philosophy you live by, must be a key to longevity? Happy 94th.
reality..at the point of perception
What is love, what is love, what is love?
It's the way you make feel whenever I see you dance.
You look like you should be in Hollywood.
You move your hips like Shakira and with a body like yours,
I can't help but to stare and gaze into your eyes.
I have an knack for letting down the people I love and care for.
What's messed up and changed around without a vital sign.
I walk alone on a boulevard of broken hearts.
Walking down the street you're all that's on my mind.
If I could just gaze into your eyes one more time, I know this time we'll get it right.
Ann Wilson, know
when you pass away, I will weep
not for your soul, which your love will carry to the stars,
but for the love the world will be missing!
