The Future Is Female

Hold on your horses!
Did you just say that women can't?
Did I hear you say that they are inferior?
Or did you just call them household helpers?

Gone are the days when women did nothing,
Gone are them days when housewives was their career,
Gone is the era when their existence was to please men,
Gone is the slogan that women can do what men tell them to.

Women can make earth a better place even better,
Look what Joyce Banda did,a greatest leader of all times,
Take a look at Winnie Madkizela,a greatest force in Anti-Apartheid,
Look at what Ellen Johnson Sirleaf did, isn't it credit-worthy?

We need more Maya Angelous in poetry,
We need more Chimamandas in literary works,
We need more females who can think freely and talk their minds,
We need a generation where women's voices will be heard.

This will come to pass if only we embrace change,
This will only happen if we decolonize our minds from male chauvinism,
And this will begin from empowering our sisters,
For one that educates a girl educates a community.

- My Pseudo for them -

A Matter of Odd

A matter of odd

A matter of odd
It is matter of odd to me
cause some are engaged to banda my town
Since the creation of world
Even God does not dear to banda again
Once civilazation began
It took pace of forwarding with motion
I know no none valoured to stop
To do banda and stagnation
Culture in my town geared
A timidity to win stopping speed of lives
In place of running vehicles
I unwittingly noticed plays of children
In those unknown faces of children, a pain
Loss of education and a matter of odd
But defeating with vandalism, if spoken
My town closes doors of morning
Still I rear hope sun and wind
Do not share with them
And emerges far from the top of hill
As usual, then I breathe a hope of death of banda.

Kurso: Kay Hirap Mo

Bakit kaya noon kaydali mangarap?
Bakit kaya ngayon sobrang kayhirap?

Parang tinik sa lalamunan ang pagpili
Nang kursong magbibigay sayo ng galak at ngiti;

Enroute To Electoral Defeat

I call upon my fellow leaders to know that there can only
be one winner in an election,
and the rest contenders risk losing the elections__
Even after losing the elections, you must learn to love one another
and live your life as if you were a winner.
I was the commander- in -chief of the armed forces and I could
have disputed the outcome of elections and endangered the
lives of my countrymen__ into a blood civil war.
After losing the elections as an incumbent president, some compatriots
called me a coward for accepting defeat!
Therefore,I urge my fellow leaders still serving as presidents to emulate
my decision of accepting defeat and to realise that even after losing
presidency you wil still live a dignified life.

Unspoken Kya Samjhey

Poetry is the excellence of mind in communication;
Conveying a poets’ resonating thoughts with emotions.
Floating in true freedom of captured words.
Frozen picture, clicked words laced with time.

Malice for the modern poet in abstract thoughts;
O! Ghalib why you wrote and I did not understand?
Towards one and all, I whet this divine grudge;
Only God should write, Banda Tab Hee Samjhey.

(‘Banda Tab Hee Samjhey’- only then will I understand)
