I would hate to see the Atmospheric River rain again

It is Northen coastal California, 
Which boasted the best weather in the USA, 
Then came the Global warming, changing the weather all around, 
Never so many people suffered from Tornadoes, cyclones, fire, and flooding. 
 
When the scientists proclaimed about the dangers of Global warming, 
All the conservative ruling elites thought it was a lunacy

Atmospheric Rivers

In quiet bay's embrace, where waters sigh,
I gaze at mountains 'neath the western sky.
Their stoic peaks, a timeless range,
Whisper tales of change, foretell the strange.

As thick cloud veils the once majestic view,
An atmospheric river brews anew.
The deluge nears with torrential might,
Veiling peaks in a shroud of endless night.

Dreams of Gene Kelly, dancing in the rain,

Gushing river's flow,
Rain cascades upon the land,
California soaks.

Clouds converge above,
Nature's tears fall, drenching earth,
Life's thirst quenched anew.

Parched landscapes await,
Nature's deluge on its way,
Respite from the drought.

Atmosphere flows,
River of wind and danger,
Coastal erosion.

Waves reach for the sky,
Hazardous winds onshore howl,
Nature's violent dance.

West Coast braces now,
High waves persistently crash,
Erosion's cruel touch.

I painted a purple sky
Looked at it
I thought it looked brown
Like the ground
So I painted trees on it
And a stream
The stream overflowed
And the trees floated away
In a purple sky

Flaming Hot Cheeto Apocalypse

screaming wind
crosses wires
transformers boom
sticks in the rain
spewing sparks
hissing 
sizzling
vomiting
smoke and steam
trees topple
creeks overflow
rivers rage
we beg for it
and it comes
atmospheric rivers of it
bomb cyclones of it
avalanches of it
tornadoes of it
acute hemorrhaging 
extreme

flaming hot cheeto
apocalypse
pray for 
the unsheltered
the strays
all victims
caught in the storm

Crashing Thunder rain thunder sane?
Boom!  Complain to who?
Lightning frightening heard
A thunder word boom boasting bolts

COLORS OF THE ATMOSPHERIC SKIES
Twilight blue flies over you passion, gray 
So displays 
Beauty blue white pearl drops 
Floating in the sky clouds 
Green grass moss lightly grazes 
the blackened grounds
Tangerine sun bright and warm
Ebony midnight black and gray
It's a new time and new day

Atmospheric Inferno

Boisterous clouds are churning, roiling air-mass in warm updraft
Declaring on callous inhabitants of earth, a dark ferocious war 
Manifesting malevolent force, imposing anger on spatial norms,
Conspiring with anguished winds to invigorate violent storms.

Colossal is their expanse that threatens the rise of new dawn
Offering a preview of what face of death would encompass
When enraged nature punishes
