Cradled in fleecy white cumulus
Cherubs lie, cousins of sirens,
Seductively fondling their harps
Enacting a vision of heaven
For hope’s dreaming eyes to see

From the riverbank, gloomy grey masses
Are strung with gleaming white light points
Immensity nurtures the tiny.
A celestial vision of tinnitus
Admonishes who would look up.

The secret connection is softness:
Deceptive opacity no cradle
Divine prankster opens the trapdoor
Atmospheric perspective enabled
Unknown dimensions embrace
