Bookstores were my life’s mooring
Where my spirit felt both shy and effusive
Shy, bashful, a girl wearing her heart on her sleeve,
Effusive, flowing about the pages – impulsive,
Resisting the urge to plow through the words
Without indulging in the crisp scent of this new novel.

Non verbal approach

Rolling your eyes, the chair in your hand fronting me,
pulling my backpack with both hands, eyebrow risen,
movement of mine you quickly stepping aside holding the back of your backpack, the accidently touch I did, you making yourself tiny near the window, smile lines sink in a dismissive face.
When you were heading on side I knew you were uninterested,
I knew when you were laying back you didn't even listen,
I knew when held your both hands together down your stomach you are bored,
I knew when you were quickly making your work and smiled at me, it was a mocking one.
I knew when you looked at me while you talked, you were trying to make me uncomfortable.
When you repeated my words ironically to the teacher I knew you were annoyed.
I knew when you often forgot things and were lost you were mad.
But that day,
when your Hand laid on your chest while patting,
I knew you were counting heartbeats to regulate your breath rhythm.
Your hands never held your backpack but now it grabbed it tight.
If I just knew your body languge,
was your,
coping mechanism.

Approach Me Slow Or I Will Go

I am like a fragile deer
Approach carefully and beware
Not to startle me or I
Will run off, I'm very shy
If your slow and really quiet
With your love I just might try it
But be speedy and go fast
You will not even get past
Saying hello, you will lose
So be cautious how you choose
To start this relationship
Use a loose and gentle grip
You'll get all of my attention
My heart will have no objection
I will stay without the fear
Knowing your heart really cares
But a tight grip holding me
Will make me go wild and free
No chance of me giving you
Love and care a lifetime through
I've been run off by too many
Men who thought that they had plenty
Of charisma, grace and charm
Which just caused a lot of harm
So now I am very skittish
Think about the choices of this
Be smart, don't come at me quick
Because you think your so slick

Approach

                   Approach of Wind, it chills
in a particular way.
Unexplainable, how it carries in competing tandem,
of unknown elements brought into the arena, bare.

Doctor's bag opened of winds,
surgical biopsy underway,
in new mandated trailways.

Membraned channels of envelope streams
holds aloft vapors of vial serums,
like a bassinet with black wings.

Intheorium sends it's postage.
It soothes the Cesarean Earth in her pangs,
for mankind's evil is great. How can it stand to be.

So he sends them a strong delusion
so that they may believe a lie.

Armies shall pillage the Family and
upend the carts in the Marketplace.

Souls shall be scattered to the four winds, looking desperately for a compass
that can find the head.

Delivery, once slow, has increased exponentially.

Magma rivers will haunt the landsape like lions,
Nemian.
Great forges looking for gold to smelt into idols of Pompeii.
For he shall stand in his Pomp in the Temple,
then sit, as if he is God.

Would I write as much as I do today?
Only to satisfy what I see and hear,
  Makes my life very clear.

  Politics have gone awry,
No one looks you in the eye.
When they do you know they lie.

  Hiring signs are hung everywhere,
No one wants to work over there!
Immigrants are coming fast; with luck the jobs will last!

No food, water, or shelter, it won't get better!
  Who will survive?
  We certainly can't thrive!

  War has a use,
As do viruses, and killing guns,
  Reduction in population!

As a nation we should cheer it on!

Premium Member Seven Seas Approach

Sometime the sea makes you feel at ease
Then there are other times, sea please
The seasick feeling
The body that becomes unwilling
Over the waves
Now behave
Look below
A boat moving slow
Sea of wonder
A Lighthouse and shore yonder
Some say the seas are a friend
The question would be when?
Sea tail
Maybe the time I was drinking Ale
Breezes just confusing the senses
Ships seeing ships
Ever now and then a dip
A captain saying, “Sea legs tip”
Nonetheless, seas into miles of ocean
Emotions forming motion
Seas surrounded
Cruising over mighty waves
Maneuvering with the wind
Seas that always can
Sea guidelines when
Cruising without sinking
Chicken little thinking

Premium Member Daily Approach

Let me think for a moment,
Instead of jumping into high gear,
Speeding into the daily tasks,
Then wondering what I missed!
In those first morning moments,
Calm down, reflect on the gift that has been given.
Listen while this home is still quiet.
Everything will take on a different hew.

Premium Member One Approach To 'Friendship'

Some folks think they get vote to distinguish the friends
who’ll be theirs till life ends, but it’s rare their vote’s close!
Or perhaps Love’s jocose and Love’s name, [sic] “I AM,”
is a lie or a scam? GOD’s too big to take in?
What’s unseen is more kin than most mortals can grok.
Our best thoughts (mark like chalk, aren’t gold tablets some prize)
fade like shadows of lies that Light’s absence erase.
Get God authors what Grace is, most needs close at hand.
Seek love’s promise. Demand love be yours (rock life’s boat)!

I love best friends I love with no ‘ask.’ Let them change
(in God’s will?)! I arrange my affairs, would be there
for them, living to share, that my purpose might serve
their success! Should I swerve from this goal? Should ‘devout’
will to humbly stand out of light all need to grow?
It’s in faith that I ‘know’ God’s Creation’s our breath
from our birth till our death, and so brush pain aside
for its lessons provide gain to all. Should love hurt
those it helps (or share shirt off back) push comes to shove?
