I
Dated
A sweet man
We fell in love
To a drummers beat
All was fine and dandy
Except his love for Brandy
His secret lover tore us up
He loved the liquor, hops, and spirits
And I'd fight her off and send him packing

Premium Member DIVINE GIFTS

Divine peace prevails
God’s gift* never fails
Blest to share love’s kindness.

Grace from heaven does flow
Reaching hearts, smiting woe
Divine peace prevails.

Mercy sweetly chimes
While hope shines many times
God’s gift never fails.

Thanksgiving reverberates indeed
Freed from selfishness-greed
Blest to share love’s kindness.

*James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

Love's Quest

Oh fear not!
Honey, let's quickly unite
To explore spark at night.

Screams of fun and cheers
will thrill soft ears
Oh fear not!

You are "Mine"
Light is blocking our sight
Honey, let's quickly unite

Painted face blush,
colorful heat waves rush
To explore spark at night.

Premium Member Her Dream Was A Flame That Burned

She climbed high
And then fell
Her dream raged

Queen for a night
A crown was sought
He was her King

She dreamt, she reached him
He was in her bed
She woke, he raged on

You are mine.
Taste the wine.
Hungry lips.

Just take small sips.
Chance one last dance.
Moments enhance.
Feels like romance.

Could be forever.
A last endeavor.
Its now or never.
Like two passing ships.
Our lunar eclipse.

Premium Member DADDY NICK AND PAPA RICK

There was in a Christmas play, Daddy Nick
Whose role was to wrap presents surely quick
Dressed in Sta. Claus' best...
But while showing his jest
Special kids had chosen their precious pick.

So Daddy Nick joyously changed his trick
To act as fantastic, yet looking sick
The children prayed with zest...
"Lord, keep us glad and blest
Heal Sta. Claus, grant him well-being stick."

Rescuing readily was Papa Rick
Laughing heartily* with his funny kick
Smiting gloominess-pest
With gifts for all the rest
Thus, everyone smiled midst photograph's click.

*Proverbs 17:22 - A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

POETRY

I dream poetry since I got entry
to Poetry Soup.com, eight years back from
Two Thousand Fifteen, continuing been keen
to enjoy the contests trying my best.

      My creation cum recreation.
     But to mention:Honest confession !
I am an intruder. Great wonder !
So sorry ! My limited vocabulary
      in English showing foolish
      approach to encroach,
trying to pen, may be in vain
verses : Valiant ! Vigorous vibrant.

Yet I dream poems, venturing any theme.
        amidst competent team
to nourish and nurture in real rapture
        just to culture:
Language not rich, poor grammar to stitch.
Syllables I select ,probability not perfect.
Yet my enthusiasm knows no spasm.

Coming up poems ! I can neither claim,
       those as gems,
nor exceptions but real relaxation .
       My full satisfaction.
       In last phase, feeling craze,
       Dull days to entertain ,
       oozing frolic fountain.
       I dream Poetry ,
        trying to produce tree
        yielding verses of emotive blossoms
        spreading fragrance from my bosom.

Mercy's Crystals

Forgiveness frees a fickle psyche
Grateful hearts give thanks for mercy.
