asks the white daisy
found the answer - and ate it -
conquest or capture
made no promises
it flourished reckless and wild -

Filled with delightful sweet perfume - always opportunities to share
alluring flower
your uniqueness is dazzling -
tiny white bells ring
Beauty, innocence and purity as a dove
Uncurtained window by nature's love
Trust your heart, please be my wife
Lily of the valley, the elixer of life

* Lily of the valley is best known in herbal medicine as a heart medicine
Falsehood and lies do no one any benefit
Every lie is a mask
with a lie one exposes one's own dignity
Fake people are poor in spirit
In the profile, people are real
they don't realize they are being watched
Everyone says they are friends
- naive are those who trust them

To honor Harry memory
a much loved and respected poet
He could cast a spell with his clear verse
identifying himself with any sonnet
with first class reviews
No shortage of inspiration
He put into words what most of us can only feel
On the towpath ... between memories and the sea
sand slips out between the fingers
Harry kept his dream alive
(watch, train journeys via You Tube)
a desire to experience Norway by train
pass vast agricultural landscapes
through a rich selection of nature experiences
Sparkling blue rivers and gushing waterfalls
Winding mountain roads, fjords and valleys
Churches from the 17th century
Humble aging farms in places
one would have thinking that no one could live
_____ one day we'll drive this journey together
... you and me ... Harry

Tributes to Harry Horsman
Sponsored by: Andrea Dietrich
1st place in the contest
The scent of humble flowers
which graced the day
Moments that have stuck
reality written on stone
Experience is learning
The joy of nature's miracles
- trapped, some might say
The sky colored gold
the rays don't heat anymore
But still:
a little piece of one's golden heart
- saturated with pollen dust

Evoke flames of amber and amethyst
may happiness adorn the future
give the minutes a short break
and the mind a couple of hours
forget the flight of the hourglass
- have things to complete later
a shoreless sea of toil and hustle

Song of my heart Poetry Contest
Sponsored by: JCB Brul
1st place in the contest
Exhaust filled alleyways cracked and torn
the wide green parks frail and worn
The factories spew out toxins day and night
winding through the air and blinding my sight
Paint me a picture of petals on flowers
as childhood mica and the glory was ours

~ Wrong investment - when animals die - warning bells are ringing ~
quote by poet
Zebras are members of the horse family
Excellent hearing and eyesight
Black with white stripes or vice versa
Runs a mile as time flick a match
Always hope to be free in the wild

- 'Z' Words - Contest -
Sponsored by: Constance La France
1st place in the contest
In spite of a large meadow of roses
your face sweet as heavenly wine
Aromas are filtered through the body senses
Earth and heaven conspired to bring us together
Careless whisper of romance
by virtue of her own heart's blood
When hand touches you and you breathe in
love so precious - cherishes you night and day

Give me the true meaning of what is said
pale shadows, removing the song in your head
Is the lie done solely for personal gain
Until one is aware of the conscience of pain
Human power can destroy without limit
the fear and ridicule destroy in minutes
We have all knowledge of the great and true
Secret faults shall never bloom from me to you
Let the fruits on the tree of friendship ripen and grow
In the sand of the river, our footprints will flow
