The goldfish follows me
As I cross the room
Bubbles aerate his coral
His eyes darken
His movements deliberate
I fear he dreams
of being a shark
And of me
falling into his bowl.

Per drawn orphic sight, a ringed rainbow moon.
Feather swims in a vagrant squall, plummets,
burden bobbing outstretched like some mushroom,
spirals expel rippled waves pirouettes.
Aurora whisper opportune saffron,
forge balms beam strands to aerate crown's vastness,
errant gasp caught in raptured mist, lissome
Brief rain on lain shape of the gods vanish.
Pristine manna with a sigh midst hollow,
steep in prismatic poise purged euphoric.
Voice guides dulcet zephyrs to arousal.
Imagery caprices waft chimeric.
Vesper, yon the zenith of Terra's, take,
occasions a sign as moonglade o'er lake.

Premium Member Sifting Sad Shadows From the Past

Flour, baking powder, sugar, salt
must be integrated smoothly, to a fault
if what is baked will turn out good
keeping it all in proportion, as one should

"Sifting sad shadows from the past"
to aerate lighter memories that will last
helps break down the bigger lumps
of those times feeling down in the dumps

Having a memory a bit more like a sieve
may not be such a bad way to live
introspection shakes up, softens time
laughing later-- adds a hint of lime

death cannot endure eternity ~ if it could we’d never be born
                                 (quote by poet)

Find rhapsody, great rhapsody, fomenting on high seas
Come lift up waves of despondency, I’m flailing so deep
Bamboozle revenant senses, restore my latent zeal
Overwhelm one million fold, melancholy drowning me

Find ecstasy, give ecstasy, paralyse me with bliss
I’m hooked on saline solution, and compelled to resist
               Rejuvenate exuberance, nullify emptiness
I want to be possessed again, in a wild wanton kiss

Find buoyancy, come buoyancy, aerate this lowly soul
Raise me up to the firmament, let heaven take control
I’ll face down blackest ether, see beyond its parasol
Never again to sit stagnant, just to bow shall I stall

Find gravity, sheer gravity, falls short on temple steps
Pressurising in nature, stopped dead in a gods codex
Free now to bathe in mercy, overcome but not by depth
Expanding on forever, where beginnings intersect

On the brush of morning a wisp of air
a tendril round my senses, like sweet perfume
Liquid skies that move with the waves
of a soft whispering wind
Calling the birds of the air, calling butterflies;
Each jostled thought calms as my remote lips
cup and my eyes feast on a clear view
of one Godly, beautiful day*

Special calls from ancient pine trees with arms
loaded with pinecones and sentinel scents
My oh my, how I love the early morning
with all its aerate lawns and flower beds

First glance, first kiss, first contact
nature is cupping her velvet ear and
listening to me, truly listening;

As I gulp each morsel of peace it imparts,
I know without doubt that have been
truly love, this very morning.

Premium Member Being Unseen

Tryst edged ... Aurora whisper serendipitous saffrons,
e'er forging balms beamish strands to aerate crown's expanse, whilst bestrewn
lissome mists waltzes amongst errant gasp caught in rapture.

An ephemeral cloudburst evaporates on supine
silhouettes of the gods. Pristine manna with a sigh ... midst hollow
utter, guides dulcet zephyrs to petrichor arousals.

Purged euphoric realm steep in its prismatic solitude
poise, waft chimerical imagery effervescent caprices,
volley afar ... harks labyrinths mellifluous murmur.

Vesper, yon the zenith of Terra, breathe his claim toward
the cosmos, granting resplendent panacea a vestured vault,
... occasions an epiphany as moonglade o'er a lake.

I mount my steed
on decorative saddle
then trot into town
with a .45 brandished
to aerate my foot
since too dense
to be sorry for
this stoic limp or
whatever it was your
mouth just shot off about.

Premium Member Through the Worm Hole

Tonight, in dark crescendo, rise the worms
to sniff the dampened crust of fresh thawed earth
bathe under flickering, cloud spaced, moon
aerate the very ground that bids them birth

Mock the darkened sight of “early birds”
wriggle at the touch of spring’s chill breeze
knowing that in half – they still are whole
and these…these single moments…they must seize.

Or be denied the nuances of life
at levels deemed beneath the worth of man
raising eyeless heads they search blind skies
for vision needs not sight in nature’s plan.

Come touch the moistened earth - bask in its scent
embrace, with darkened eyes, nature’s assent.

Open Door To Bliss

Door to bliss open wide
In spite of little inconveniences
You suffer when bad blood to my head feeds the pride
You and I strive to stray from conveniences

We ought to enjoy without regret
Any time we fancy fun
Meant to delight you and I without any indiscreet secret
To harbor when pain and strain run

Away from the tryst we cherish
In the morning, at noon, at night
In our cosy home love we nourish
Holding on to each other tight

Savouring the joy and honour to belong to each other
In perfect peace
Regardless of the wintry weather
In which blooming bliss gains an increase

In form, quality and substance
Whether the sky turns grey, blue or red
To ensure love science, stance and circumstance
We don’t tear to a shambolic shred

Because love tastes sweeter
When we aerate it, water it and nourish it
In a real time union, not on Facebook, email or Twitter
Because our diligence for purpose make our love fit.

Ode To the Earthworm Re-Post

Worms are grisly,
quite abhorrent,
slimy, and a world apart from
style and character I'll warrant.

All they do is wriggle,
wiggle to distraction,
captured by the early bird
they're skewered to inaction,

yet they aerate the soil,
help in nature's grand design,
I'd better print a full retraction,
they're not grisly, they're just fine!
