Mother Bird

Carrying soft, smooth feathered wings
To shield it's young from the tears of the sky
Whenever they fall
The bird wraps them in its wings
Offering warmth
Offering shelter
In every storm
Those wings become a refuge

Sometimes after a fierce fall
It's feathers are torn
And the bird slowly fades away
No one thanked it
For its silence sacrifice
No one sees it's wounds
They simply admire
The ones it saved
Never the wings
That broke for them......

The Chair in the Henhouse

They changed their flags before sunrise,
and called it weather.
By noon the microphones were blooming
like plastic flowers in dust.
Reporters asked straight questions;
answers arrived sideways,
oiled and smiling,
wrapped in patriotic ribbon.
A man declared himself the nation,
the worker, the owner,
the speech, the applause,
the hand that signs its own praise.
He wore green glasses in famine
and praised the harvest.
He wore dark glasses in fire
and admired the shade.
Truth stood outside barefoot,
waiting to be invited in.
No one heard her knock
above the cutlery of ambition.
Wherever the platter was fullest,
there rolled the faithful.
Principles were folded neatly
and kept for ceremonial days.
Someone asked why the hen
still sat upon the egg.
The minister promised progress,
a cushioned chair by evening.
We laughed, because laughter
is cheaper than revolt.
We laughed, because the room
was wired to record our silence.
And still, every season,
the chair arrives before justice.

To this man

O spark of divine,
Your creed is mine,
Smile and be kind,
Keep giving in mind,
You're cute and affable,
Yes, totally lovable,
Through each bliss bomb,
Fun loving with aplomb,
We share so magically,
Sage laughter capably,
Great gift you are to me,
Admire you eternally.

An Ode to My Mouth

Chews the food that revitalizes life,
Brightens my face with beautiful smiles,
Voices my joy and quietens my strife,
Takes away sorrows, halts my trials.
Talks me out of situations so dire,
It designs me into a gentle man.
My mouth asserts love to those I admire—
Hence my union has a long lifespan.

Perfection in Motion

You in that red dress,
not just beautiful, pure perfection.
I can’t help but smile and say,
“There goes Sal, my beautiful girl.”

The way you carry yourself
bold, confident, and effortlessly divine.
In just a blink, you steal the moment,
and from a distance, I can only admire,
wishing I was there, matching your fire

Love on fire

Heal and transform my life
Let our love catch fire~
Since it knows no ends,
Holds no place for dispute~
Just a bright, sparkling start.

Your love dispels all strife,
So your love I admire.
On it, my soul depends;
In hearts it takes root,
Its goodness sets it apart.

Time to profit is rife,
Your love and care inspire~
All known bounds they transcend,
And all weathers they suit—
No longer can they depart.

Premium Member Admire the Beautiful Sunset

“Sunsets are nature's way of soothing your soul and gladdening your heart.” author unknown.

How can anyone not admire a scintillating theme
Of the golden, graceful sun now descending,
Behind the darkening horizon, a delightful dream.

It is an amazing allure to watch the panoramic set,
The wonder as I swim beneath the waves
A sight that illuminates the wonder of sunset.

But night has now fallen, the sun has gone to its rest.
The sea is cool, I trudge to the sandy beach only to hear
The nightingales’ symphonies. Isn't creation blessed?

Your Beauty Within My Eyes

In the middle of the night
Where dreams take flight
I always think about you, every day and night.

Whenever our eyes meet
My heart always skips a beat.
Clingy, yet oh so sweet

Admiring you from afar
In my eyes, you shine like a rockstar
While you see another like a star.

Symphony of Her Essence

In every heartbeat, a rhythm untold,
A symphony of fire ignited by her caress.
Guardian, behold the beauty dwelling within her gaze,
The depth of her eyes, a galaxy of secrets.

Her smile, a radiant sun, melting my heart,
A light that lingers long after it fades.
Beware the lips, so tempting, so sweet,
Their touch a promise, their taste a dream.

Fingers intertwining, delicate threads of trust,
A bond unspoken, a love profound.
Embrace her tightly, shield her from storms,
Wrap her in comfort, a haven in my arms.

Cherish her endlessly, a treasure divine,
Love her with every breath, every moment, every beat.

To the Singer Katie Melua

Permit me to say how much I admire
Your voice and music--oh, how they inspire!
Each note from your lips speaks straight to the heart,
Awakening love as from Cupid’s dart.

My world seems to rest when you start to sing,
Entranced to go wherever your songs bring;
Suddenly I find in spite of all strife
A perfect world and a wonderful life.

The shadowy room when your music plays
Fills with colors diffused by the sun’s rays.
Forgetting all my troubles, I rejoice
Listening to your mesmerizing voice.

From fields of gold to the streets of Beijing
My thoughts take flight by each pluck of the string
Of your guitar, and then Time passes by
Like riding a sailboat where Sea meets Sky.

Thank you, Star, for your enchanting presence,
For piece by piece I feel my existence
Radiates at the sound of tones so sweet
From an Angel that makes a day complete.

Premium Member I ADMIRE YOU

God chooses YOU to light the way
because your faith in him is so passionate
prayers are answered as they fall from your lips
Knowing this, still you are humble
and not ONCE did you pass judgement
you set the example in the method of your living
You are courageous and honest
never turning once to run
facing each challenge
you personify the ideal human spirit
Hero is too small a word
for such a magnificent person
You are so much more
and it is a blessing to know YOU

Someone

What if I got lost to my direction,
When someone entered,
I did not have your attention.

And now I was called to you again,
A sun that shines after the midnight rain.
My dear someone, a green forest, I must say,
I never hated you, my bitter heart I can’t obey.

Found myself guilty for setting you aside,
But my heart was yours from the start, I shall abide.
My sweet Prince whose eyes do smile,
It makes my day even just for a while.

You must see how I admire you from afar,
You must know I love you, just as you are.
I keep doing things I haven’t done before,
Just for you I’d do it twice, thrice, or more.

A hi for a day is my own style, my way,
A hello from you will keep my lovely day.

I Admire You From Afar

If you are the sun
Then I am the moon
We may be millions of miles apart
The stars echo our joy, if only for a short time
You are praised for your light
I admire you even if I have to hide in darkness

You are a tapestry
That paints the picture of beauty
We may be on opposite ends of the room
Doomed the circle each other
Like the moon circles the sun
But I will cherish you even if I never tell you how I feel

Premium Member Admire A Summer Flower - Sunflower

Sunny and bright are your colors
Using your pretty face to wear
Never a frown always a smile on your
Face of pedals showing
Love for us to enjoy
On a hot summer's day
Water in a vase so you can drink and
Everyone can enjoy your beauty
Radiating a pretty yellow glow a mile wide
