Contest Description

What to Submit?

Write a rhyme about your favorite pet. Tell me what the pet is (dog, cat, bird, etc.) at the bottom with the contest title and date. The pet can be living or not – and if you’ve never had a pet, you can simply use your beautiful imagination as to what it is like to have a pet.

Only new poems and please don’t put your name on the poem. When you add a title, put PET with the title so I don’t read it (sometimes I do read them and don’t realize until it’s too late).

I hope it’s fun for everyone.

Prizes

There will be several winners I hope

Preparing Your Entry

Submit one copy of your poem online. Format your poem. Please make your entry easy to read — no illustrations or fancy fonts.

English Language

Poems should be in English. Poems translated from other languages are not eligible, unless you wrote both the original poem and the translation.
