Contest Description
it’s poesy time, dear soupers...i’m enjoying short forms lately and i hope you are too!
let’s try this spree again which I designed way back :
write a NEW, ORIGINAL shadorma ( only 1 verse) using one of these words
starting with the letter H :
1. HERMIT or 2. HARLOT or 3. HUSTLER ... i bet there will be lots of surprising renditions here; and that’s what i need!...
FINAL REMINDERS:
1.please include sponsor's name, date, and contest title .. only 1 verse is allowed, no more , no less
2.check syllable/line count, spelling, and grammar for accuracy.
3. follow all guidelines of TPS ( avoid AI entries, porno materials/ words, others) and sponsor's requirements
4. use chosen prompt as your contest title
The shadorma is a short Spanish form, of six unrhymed lines. As a syllabic poem, it has a strict number of syllables per line:
3 - 5 - 3 - 3 - 7 - 5
just my draft :
friday rush (3)
whipping mad deadline (5)
of whirled toil (3)
in dazed streaks-- (3)
sweet rhytmn of time wheezes (7)
forgetting love’s call (5)

TAKE THIS TO THE TOP AND ENJOY!
