What to Submit?
1. Please write 1 romantic sonnet. 14 lines, EXACTLY 10 syllables per line. I will use
the syllable counter at HowManySyllables.com.

Your rhyme is abab cdcd efef gg(iambic pentameter a plus, but not required)

Use three quatrains and a couplet

You must include the following colors:
Ashes(or Ash) of Roses
Absinthe
Cerulean
Charcoal
Crimson
Ivory
Obsidian
Porcelain
Sable
Smoke
Color can be experienced with all five senses. Try it.
5. Your poem must be entitled, MIDNIGHT ROMANCE(you can change it after the contest).
6. Please watch your SPELLING and GRAMMAR. Too many errors = NA.
7. Please use normal font, no italics or bold.
8. Please NO NAMES.

English Language
Poems should be in English. Poems translated from other languages are not eligible, unless you wrote both the original poem and the translation.
