The sun rises, and as she takes her place,
a sanguine sun tints ivory skin pink.
And my artist's hand soon begins to race,
sketching her beauty with charcoal and ink.
Ebony shading outlines almond-eyes
like in a black-and-white fantasy dream.
Pink cotton-candy clouds color the skies
as Sol's gold light makes her kimono gleam.
With makeup as featureless as white smoke;
silk ribbons adorn this porcelain doll.
And capturing elegance with each stroke,
my muse is inspired to preserve it all.
A Japanese Geisha touts perfection;
nothing about her evokes correction.
