Born in Skipton raised in the village of addingham in wharfedale, moved to New Zealand for 36 years, now a resident of Perth Western Australia, i have 2 sons 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren..Sons were born in the uk, 2 grandchildren in New Zealand, 1 grandchild and 4 great grandchildren are true blue aussies.

Update on Harry J Horsman

Hi, friends, Harry did ask me to keep you updated when it was necessary and gave me access to his mail so I know some of you are beginning to mail him. I have been waiting on his family for info. Harry's treatment was withdrawn over a week ago and they are making him comfortable, he is now in Hospice care. He was at his happiest here on soup and so proud to have his name on our books together gives him the biggest boost. All I can say now is I will update you when I can as now I have to rely on his family for news and they obviously have their own feelings to deal with. Mandy.

Harry, my deepest empathy goes out to you, my friend. I am sorry to hear of the health struggles you face and my prayers for you and your family will be going up. I have tears in my eye and everything is so real and sad. I remember recently when Harry commented on my poem. This is a keepsake as if I could hear his voice. That moment touched me. Like the rest of Soup, I have Harry in my prayers.

Dear Mandy, this news breaks my heart. I had hoped that Harry would be able to receive treatment. I'm so thankful that he is comfortable and that he's surrounded by friends and family. Thanks Mandy As Harry knew I am afflicted with the same condition only not up to stage 4 as he is. I have been praying that he wont suffer too long. I wrote a poem about an Aussie Horseman but not sure that he up to hearing poetry, so I wont bother Emailing it. There are a lot of people here whose thoughts and prayers are about Harry.
