Born in Skipton raised in the village of addingham in wharfedale, moved to New Zealand for 36 years, now a resident of Perth Western Australia, i have 2 sons 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren..Sons were born in the uk, 2 grandchildren in New Zealand, 1 grandchild and 4 great grandchildren are true blue aussies.

Hi, friends,

I know some of you are chomping at the bit for news, sorry but I have been away. Back now and Harry's daughter-in-law has given me an update. Harry made it home for a few days but unfortunately he had a nasty fall and has suffered a head injury so is back in hospital, obviously they hope he will retuen to them soon but she has told me he may not get back on the soup as he is very muddled with his passwords and computing know how, so unless or untill he regains his confidence back on the keyboard please don't expect any answers to your mails and misconstrue the meaning behind no replies. You all know if he could he would be mailing and commenting as always. Mandy

Thanks for the update. It must be very frustrating for Harry.With many head injuries the laying down of new information is often compromised and short term memory is affected considerably more than long term memory. Please pass on my best wishes to Harry and family. Thank you. Cheers - Gary

That's such awful news that he had a head injury. My hubbie last Aug. got a concussion falling inside a forklift. He just isn't the same any more and it's so sad to see the change, and how he can't even work any more. I know from this experience with head injuries, Harry must feel so bad not to do things the same. So sorry this had to happen and I hope he is reading or having his emails read to him.
