I am posting this to let everyone know that Jack's father passed peacefully at 10:00 A.M this morning(England's Time)..

Jack said that they got a call from the hospital around 7 A.M. and they got a Taxi to the hospital .He said his dad squeezed his hand when he walked into the room but never gained consciousness..

I know that they are saddened by the loss..

So sorry to hear Jack's sad news. My Tad died end of January, its so hard to come to terms with it. I pray that Jack will find srength in his memories. .... Seren

Jack, losing a father is hard. I truly hope memories bring you comfort during this sad time. I found photos and old cards helped me cope... thinking of you and your loved ones... prayers sent.

Thank you for posting this for Jack, Sara. Just last week the family had been told Jack's father Desmond had three months, so this was startling. Jack, Sandra and I had been hoping his father would live to see the book we co-wrote in print. At least Jack had the chance to tell his father the book had been accepted for publication and that made Desmond smile. My deepest sympathies go out to Jack, his wife Sue and his Mum. Jack and Sue are two of the classiest, compassionate and loving people I've ever known. So very sad this happened just before the holidays. Heartbreaking, really. oh my gosh, I can't believe it. Jack had said that his family members were all thinking he would be gone before a whole month passed , but to have it happen before they even got him home from the hospital? So sad! He knows my thoughts. I will be emailing him, sara.
