Gratitude for the routineness of our lives

It's the end of the TG holiday. We have enjoyed time with family, time to reminisce, time with grands, good eats and laughter. As wonderful as this is, I'm ready for a little routine. Perhaps, this is because I'm innately an introvert. Routine gets a bad rap. But perhaps it's our anchor. We know the schedule. There is time to contemplate our navels (as they used to say). There is time to grow and experiment and time for the things that make our daily lives important -- like exercise, and volunteering and writing. I know I'll be ready to do it all over again at Christmas. But right now I'm ready for a little routine and even boredom. How about you?
