I’ve hardly been here maybe going on two weeks and afraid y’all are writing me off.  Please don’t, because i’ll come, read, be fed as energy permits.  I have been going thru it.  
I’ve been swimming at midnight under a quarter moon
Thru what feels like the edge of the Great Seaweed Bog in the Carribean,
With my orange vest untied, trying to slip off.
My foot wounds, 3/on left foot, which they said were healing after 4 or 5 procedures to clear vessels in leg and increase blood flow, apparently ow are not and another clear-out procedure is scheduled for March 28 at the hospital i don’t like by the (substituting surgeon, mine will be on vacation) syrgeon i dont like cause he’s the guy who amputated 2 toes on left foot.  Must all be done 3/28 cause next available date is 4/28…too long they say.
The paun remains Intense, recently preventing my from my art & writing at times, which is new for me.  I’ve been on pain med for years, of course, prior need due to shoukders replaced & before that having my whole spine up to C’s fused titanium. Pain doc says they cant do more.  I dont believe that (many thanks to U.S. govt & cloaked sidewalk vendors).
Hubby has started saying i’m paranoid, but, people!  Some questioning and, IMHO, distrust is necessary WHEN THEY START CHATTING ABOUT HOW MUCH BY HOW MUCH OF YOUR FOOT WILL COME OFF WHEN, and aren’t we as a quiet petite female Sally gonna smile and look nice while we do it?  Hmmmm…

Darlene, i’m so grateful to read your supportive words. What can be said? It’s almost too awful to consider. It is what juvenile diabetes does after 40 years. The disease is a story of waging war. But supportive words always come divine to touch. I thank you deeply.
