Listen to poem:
Death
Death is an enemy that everyone would like to kill
It's worse than a criminal because it likes to steal
It's invisible and unseen as it claims the lives you love
Aways arriving in ways and in formats you wouldn't think of
It wins a double trophy for leaving the innocent in pain
Sitting as a horrible reminder to not live you life in vain
It's a unexpected visitor, one we struggle to keep at bay
Especially after saying hurtful things that we didn't mean to say
It's picks at random just as throwing a pair of dice
It's has no feelings and can be as cold as ice
It's a battle we all fight and always seem lose
It also taps on our shoulder when we don't have a clue
It could be swift when it wants to be and have no mercy
At times it can be slow and evil and don't see the need to hurry
Sometimes it seems to grab us in through an unforeseen accident
At times it's a visit that an individual may prevent
Everyone is confused as to how it got it's start
Who gave life to it with an unbeatable heart
Death has been the end for every parent who has given birth
It was our very first parents who brought death to the earth.
