My Challenges With Friendships

I have challenges in friendships because of what I expect To me cultivating a friendship is like playing a game of roulette For this person i tend to go above and beyond or go all out Not giving it time to see what the person is really about Its a challenge because they may not work as hard as you do Then you're wondering if its any worth looking for someone new Learning lessons from past experiences that you don't want to repeat Struggling with fear of rejection with new ones you meet You want to except who they are and take what you can get But at the same time not be that person that they easily forget Friendships are a two way street but most drive one way It would be nice to find a friend with qualities like mine one day As each one fails and you keep starting all over again It becomes a big challenge trying to find that special friend.
