Listen to poem:

I Never Stopped Loving You

They say that you can't control who you fall in love with
Although we're not together I can still taste you on my breath
Yes I tried to move on by giving other people a try
But I'm realizing now that I shouldn't just because you made me cry
From that day to the present I live with so much regret
No one has been able to touch my heart the way you did, no not yet
What we had was different, special, unique and awesome
If I had given us time to grow, we would have blossomed
Time has passed but it hasn't stopped the memories
Public places, even the music and everything you did with me
I think of you as I go through relationships of trial and error
I'm reminded of how you treated me and the times I was unfair
It's never a time I'm not reminded of the way you understood me
I tend to want the person in my life to be the way i knew you to be
I'm not sure if through the years, I ever crossed your mind
If while moving on you found someone better, then that's fine
There were so many times we tried to return to each other
I think that was a moment I should have listened to my mother
I wonder if given a second chance with you would I take it
The answer is yes and I would be dedicated so we can make it
To have you back in my life, there isn't nothing I wouldn't do
I say this because after all these years,
 I still love you.
