Our Toxic Friendship

Are we addicted to this pain that we both bring
Or is it the high from the friendship we both feen
We both have admitted ourselves that we tend to bleed love
I don't think either of us knows when enough is enough
When separated were lost without each other
But when were together we make each other suffer
It's the potential inside each other that we must see
We tend to struggle to be what the other wants us to be
Constantly in fear of losing each other or giving up in pain
But through the ups and downs we always feel the same
I say we're toxic because our vulnerability is at stake
But why do we worry when our friendship isn't fake
Together we should be making each other feel secure
Leaving no room for doubt if our feelings are pure
Our friendship seems to bring us more anxiety
Often lost in thought is where you would find me
We can never say that we're no good for each other
We've been close for years and want to take it further
We're like each other's drug and strong addiction
We're in constant need of each other's attention
Through unspoken words we can feel each other's pain
Emotionally were the same with no fingers to point the blame
As toxic as our friendship may appear to be
No one wants to let go, neither you or me
