Far Cry Of A Wise Man

Keeping your eyes something heavenly
Is worth afterlife a good preparation
Life is fleeting we don't know its end
The reasons why people getting wiser for
A wise person looks ten times or more
He has a futuristic mind than us normal
He sees what's beyond the line horizon
He thinks deeper beyond the Milky Way
He has reason to curiosity and apathy
He has inner-self to talk with praise
For the wise everything has its purpose
The lamentation of soul is his far cry.

  The glory that is Greece
    the grandeur that is Rome

  A wise man trades it all ~

Wise man of Charlotte enjoys his wisdom which is known.
We respect this paragon whose power mimics a king on a throne.
Although not of noble birth, he is revered throughout the land.
We know of his exploits and ideas. His ideals are enormously grand.

Wise man of Charlotte walks comfortably among the classes.
He is admired by many – oldsters, youngsters, males and many lasses.
He will not take a wife, for he needs no other to be complete.
His traditions and ideas are respectful, and he is almost ridiculously sweet.

Premium Member The Old Wise Man

Not long ago, I met an old man
Life is hard and easy, go with it
Take it or leave it, said the old man

Take it or leave it, one can understand
I recall the old man who said it
Life can be rough and soft too when you stand

Having a hard life, one can take
The old man said, keep it or leave it
Living for life, one may not make

Having a soft life, not rough at all
Said the old man, continue with it
Adjust your time, not the actual time that fall

If I go back, past will never return
The old man said, contemplate on it
If I look back, people are already in the urn

I wish to meet the old man again before I go
Take it or leave it, and live with it
The old man said, not long ago
I'll always remember the old man, wherever I go

Premium Member A Not So Wise Man Once Said

Is it right for you
Is it want you want

A fake dream made of lies
You’ve been designed to just push-on

Consume and pay for this
Consume and pay for that
Before you’re in your thirties
A lifetime full of debt

Stiff upper lip
What a load of crap
Swallow all the pain and stress you want
It’s your heart attack

Do you ever stop and see the mirror cries
Or do you look away, happy with your lies

Do you ever just sit and stop
Listen to your mind
Hear the cries of your soul
Begging to save your life

The Wise Man

The Wise Man

Ever seeking the answers of the universe
To a myriad of baffling, unsolved theories
Delving deeper, within thoughts so diverse
Exploring all the mystifying profound queries

He sits alone immersed in his inner tranquility
Within an aura of peace surrounding him whole
Understanding many wonderful things a possibility
In this realm, peaceful serenity his ultimate goal

In his humble abode, a life of solitude
No need for possessions of any kind
Simplistic of things he shows gratitude
Within a peaceful clarity of mind

Many seek out this humble wise man
To ask many puzzling queries of time
And from whence all life once began
Seeking answers in his wisdom sublime

The answers you seek, seemingly strange
To believe can be found in the simplest word
Perhaps a life changing event will rearrange
With an understanding of what is being inferred

He quietly exclaims “Behold your answers lie within,
deepest inward you must look into your mortal soul,
cast off your burdens that endow such chagrin,
allow none other than peace, willingly take control “

Wise Man

Wise man,
A wise man surely you are, well maybe.
Wise man, you are so funny and comical even though you have no big red noise or floppy hat.
Wise man you are blind knowing all supposedly but knowing almost nothing indeed.
Wise man, wise man oh how can this be since you have had all the world's great learning?
You've been to Rome and Sicily all nine of its great provinces.
Wise man, how can it be you are still not much wiser than me?
Wise man, come and learn the stories of old, the stories passed down by the elders for you and me.
The elders have much to tell if you dare to listen you can have the great knowledge you seek.
Wise man, how can it be that you are no wiser than me?
Wise man, I will listen to the things the elders say.
Learning and listening to them I will become a wise woman someday.
Wise man, please take my hand and we will go and learn what only the Godly wise men have known and learn great wisdom.

All Things Galore

All Things Galore
by Michael R. Burch

(for my grandfathers George Edwin Hurt Sr. and Paul Ray Burch, Sr.)

Grandfather,
now in your gray presence
you are

somehow more near

and remind me that,
once, upon a star,
you taught me

wish

that ululate soft phrase,
that hopeful phrase!

and everywhere above, each hopeful star

gleamed down

and seemed to speak of times before
when you clasped my small glad hand
in your wise paw

and taught me heaven, omen, meteor ...

Who is the Wise man?

Son of man speaks to me;
Speak to the people my words;
The commandments of life;
Reaches and teaches me;
Don’t you let them think twice;
And who as the wise man;
And who is the wise man;
Who is the wise man, is it you or is it I

Who’s the man with the Holy ring;
Who is the one who we all praise for and sing;
Who as the wise man, who is he

Who is the wise man;
Who is the wise man;
Who is the wise man?
Counselor, my mighty Lord;
Who’s the man with the Holy ring;
Who is the one who we all praise for and sing;
Who as the wise man, who is he
Son of man speaks to me;
Speak to the people my words;
The commandments of life;
Reaches and teaches me;
Don’t you let them think twice;
And who as the wise man;
And who is the wise man;

Wise Man

Wise Man

Just as the leaves begin to fall
He gazes knowingly down at his crystal ball
Just as he suspected after this summer long
He’d be alone for awhile so to collect his thoughts
He’s not damaged or timid
Nor wicked at all
He’s just known since he was very young
That silence is better than fighting the cause
Of what happened to what now is gone
So now he bawls as he stands tall
Like the trees around him
As their leaves fall

The Wise Man

Oh wise man,
The furrws on your forehead
Say you cultivated
your years
And harvedted excellent fruits
You used your moments to distill
Life's problems,that turned your hair gray
Your eyes are sunken deep ,why?
Sharp realites pushed back them,that's why?

Tell me why the rich in golden couch lie
The poor die many times before they die?
"Boy,Wealth is a gift given by God
To share with the poor, not to hoard

The stars shine like glow worms at night
My intellect fails,canyou give a reason bright?
"This is a clear sighn of extra mundane life
Then to argue otherwise never take your knife!

Are we masters of our own fate
Or dumb driven by it like a beast?
Fate is like two strings of a thread
One is in our hand,one in the hand of God
