Wise Man

Wise Man Just as the leaves begin to fall He gazes knowingly down at his crystal ball Just as he suspected after this summer long He’d be alone for awhile so to collect his thoughts He’s not damaged or timid Nor wicked at all He’s just known since he was very young That silence is better than fighting the cause Of what happened to what now is gone So now he bawls as he stands tall Like the trees around him As their leaves fall
